I Just Want To Complain

I'm 33 weeks and my whole body is just killing me. My hips hurt so bad, and the small of my back pops with almost every step. I have a ton of pressure in my pelvis and it feels like she should be popping out any day now because of it. I'm so constipated but I feel like if I go to the bathroom I'll push the baby out! (totally irrational, I know). I'm a very pet_te person with a short torso so my ribs feel like they're being folded in half when I sit down, and I have a desk job. Ugh! I'm just so sick of being pregnant! I'd rather wake up to a screaming baby every two hours than be pregnant anymore! Anyone else that just wants to rant for a bit, feel free! I'd like to know that I'm not alone!

my ribs are hurt too, im very short and i think he just moves my body parts to suit him! sometimes i swear he is in my tailbone!! a way i found to help with the hips and back is to get down on your hands and knees and just stay there for a bit, relieves pressure, but then again its hard to get back up :o). im 38 weeks and it seems like the last 2 have been the worst, started swelling and cant sleep at all anymore. but coming to this site and venting has made it easier cuz i dont complain to much to anyone else, just let it all out here! oh and since you said you cant bend either, got a question for ya.. how do you shave your legs n stuff? i cant bend to do it, end up cutting the hell outta myself when i try! it really botheres me that i cant do it, so if youve got a secret way then let me know, i look like an amazon woman :o). but you arent alone and good luck with your last 7 (or less, not more!!) weeks!!

You are not alone so many women at this stage feel this way. My baby is almost 8 months old now but i remember how hard it was too sleep. i had such horrible heart burn and i developed restless leg syndrom really bad and that was on top of just feeling generally uncomfortable b/c i was huge. It's kind of funny b/c everyone would tell me to sleep as much as i could before the baby came but honestly i slept better after she came b/c at least when i went to sleep i could fall asleep and stay asleep until she needed me and i would feed her and go back to sleep.

omg krissy...I thought I was just weird I developed restless leg syndrome too it got so bad I couldn't stay in bed with dh b/c I had to kick my legs every 5 seconds. and the pain in my hips and back were unbearable. I didn't sleep the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy I just stayed up...I was so lost for sleep by the time I had my dd that I was losing the ability to put together sentences...thank goodness my dh knows me so well he could figure out anything I was trying to say....glad to know someone else got rls...and that I wasn't the only one...I just hope it doesn't happen with my next one... I was so miserable at the end I told everyone I was only having 1 child even though my dreams were to have 4... I've since changed my mind and am still aiming for 3 (still only have 1 lol but shes only 3 and a half months!) gl...

Tish i had done some research and found it is not all that uncommon for women to develop that condition during pregnancy. I too would leave bed b/c my poor dh was trying to sleep and i was tossing and turning. I never said anything to my doctor about it, b/c i thought it was just one of those things pregnant women have to put up with but i think if i have any more kids and it happens to me again i will ask my doctor if there is anything a pregnant woman can safely take to aleivate some of the discomfort.

Tootsie5c - I know how you feel .. It's funny because I thought I was the only person who thought if they pushed to go to the bathroom they'd push the baby out lol But sometimes it really feels that way ..I know I will be thinking differently once I am in labor and really feel that (again) I have an 11 yr old so I don't recall all the discomforts of that pregnancy but I can tell you I have such a hard time sleeping because of my arms and legs falling asleep and on top of that acid reflux now lately when I get up from sleeping I feel this pressure in my pelvic area - I dont know if its a muscle or what but it feels like pressure. I also dont feel her so much in my ribs just really down low is where I feel her most. The sciatic nerve pain is pretty bad as well and lately on top of that I am short of breath all the time lol and I am only 31 weeks! I dont vent to anyone but people on this site either lol i dont feel anyone else could relate! Oh and I had a desk job too - in a call center of all places and that was horrid but they recently fired me cause I just couldnt stay at my desk I had to keep getting up and wandering off because I couldnt take it anymore. Well good luck to you!

Its good to hear I'm not the only one hating this stage of pregnancy! Misery does love company. Jujul, I'll tell you how I shave my legs. I don't. hah...I stopped shaving a while ago. Every now and then I'll shave my calves but I'm really just too lazy to even try now. I used to be pretty good about keeping my lady parts nice and groomed, but since I can't see it anymore I'm not going to try and shave it! My dh doesn't like it but he's come to accept it.

krissy2006 - March 31

Oh to be able to shave my legs without wondering how to get my stomach out of the way, oh to bend over and be able to see my feminine parts without again trying to get my stomach out of the way.... oh to be able to do so many things... our time is coming ladies... we will all have our LO's in our arms soon enough and we will look back and reminisce about this.... until then... let the venting continue!! :D

omg I was flipping out about not being able to maintain the lower regions that I actually asked my dh to help, but I paniced so bad during that I couldn't go through with it again lol...so I would reach down and try to do it by touch until I finally gave up and said the heck with it! I did manage though to shave my legs all the way up to the last 2 weeks... but only my calves... I got into such bad pain the last 2 weeks that I didn't bother and was planning on doing it on a monday evening or having dh help however that monday I went to my dr appt and was sent directly to the hospital 2 weeks early. unshaved....lol but it didn't much matter cuz after 36 glorious hours of hard labor I had a csection. I never mentioned the rls to my dr either b/c I thought it was just something weird with me. the weirdest thing though is that I didn't swell until after I gave birth...then my legs and feet swoll up so bad my legs wouldn't fit into my jeans and NONE of my shoes fit...lol I was so upset b/c I thought I made it thru my entire pregnancy w/o that as a problem!

hahaha, im sooooo glad im not the only one who gave up on shaving!! i asked a couple friends who have babies what they did and all 3 said they never stopped, even thier girl parts!! dont know how they did it!! ............ but id like to continue to vent for a second or more......went to the dr today, 39 weeks, still at .5 cm and only 60% effaced!!! i asked her to give me an idea how big he is and she said it was only a guess but hes like 8 lbs!! i was thinking like 6! hopefully i am closer to correct! so looks like my little fat baby is going to stay in there forever hahaha. gotta figgure out a way to at least dialate a bit! i rub the 2 spots that are supposed to help u go into labor (leg and hand) and eat pineapple (read that too) but obviously those dont work!! oh and now i cant go potty cuz his head is putting pressure on my bladder and bowels!!! there is so much stuff you never hear about till it happens to you! i think there should be a warning label somewhere about pregnancy changes!!! ok im done venting for now... who is next? :o)
