Does anyone have the pregnancy mask? I have dark blotches right on the apples of my cheeks and the tip of my nose. I look a little like santa! Normally I don't care about them, but I want to look my best for the holidays and the family (and all the pictures). Can anyone recommend some good make-up tips to cover them up? I usually don't wear concealer or cover-up or anything like that, so i don't know what to use. Please help- i don't want to look made up!!!

This is what I do:
First I exfoliate to get any dead skin off my face so it doesn't look all cracked when I put make up on. Then I start with a very, very light layer of liquid base coat (try to make the coat as even as possible, and if you use too much it looks caked on.) followed by powder to give it a softer look. I use Maybelline brand for everything. Try to get as close to your skin color as possible. If you can't find the perfect match and are stuck between two colors, go for the lighter shade.
I hope that helps :)

I feel for you. I tried tons of different concealers... all of which did not work. I found a great one through my friend who's an esthetician.
The product is by MAC and it's called Studio Finish Concealer. I would recommend going to the MAC make up counter and having them try a couple shades on you to see what works for your skintone, and your spots! They matched me up with NW25, it has a tiny bit of red in it, which somehow makes the dark parts blend in. I apply a bit of foundation (or if I'm in a hurry, just the concealer), then follow with powder to blend it in. It really really helps, makes me look- and most importantly, feel "normal". Good luck, and happy holidays!
