I don't mind. this is my second, i had my first via c-section at 34 weeks, she was breech and there wasn't enough fluid to try to turn her around. anyway after the c-section i was told my uterus was slight heart shaped, my current doctor told me i could attempt a v____al delivery, but theres risk like with everything else, and i don't really want to risk a uterus rupture, so i'm opting for the c-section. i guess the risk is higher if you're uterus isn't the normal pear shape. You did have perfect timing. did you suspect or have any idea you would be going in to labor?

funny you should mention your uterus i am mildly bicornuate as well (heart shaped) thats interesting ... with the labor thing i have been really tire the last week or so needing naps during the day and have been having a pinching feeling near my cervix for a few days but other than that i had no symptoms i was at the hospital having a routine heart monitor on the baby and they said i had lots of uterine movement but i couldn't feel them

hehe, 2 weeks ago i was at the hospital with the monitors as well, and the nurse kept telling me i was having contractions, but i could not feel a thing. never felt them with my daughter either. the day she was born i just happened to land at the hospital because my doctors office was closing so they told me to just go there and from there well i didn't get to leave. the nurse would tell me to stop moving because it made it look like i was having contractions and i was already 3 cm. dialated, which i was unaware of. my doctor finally came in and asked if i had pain and i had none. wonder if it has anything to do with the shape of the uterus but i doubt it.

Hey sorry to b___t in. I'm here, too. I live in Texas. I was due last Sunday with my first but so far she hasn't made any moves to come. I'm seeing a midwife at a birthing center so induction isn't an option. I'm starting to go crazy. :) You're so lucky on your water breaking and getting to have the baby early.
