We did have our babies on the same day!!! Congratulations!!! You delivered before I was completely hooked up to the IV's. Did you go in to labor on your own, or were you induced? I can't wait to read your birth story. How are things going at home?

Hey yall...I only have a minute, but on wed. I was walking around my apartment complex with my friend and my water broke. I was so excited. We went to the doctor, and she confirmed the news and sent me to L&D. I was placed in a room and they allowed me to do some walking with my husband to try and increase dilation. I was only 4 CM at the time. Well that didn't work, so they hooked me up to pitocin. It was rough. I lasted until 5 CM (was 5 for hours) before I was crying for an epi. When they came and did the epi, they did it wrong, and I still felt everything. I was 7 CM for and feeling like I was going to die for 3 hours, when they decided to do it again. This time it worked and I was in heaven. When it was time to push, I was able to view her coming out. It was amazing! She is so beautiful. I love being a Mom. Although it has been tiring. Oh yeah, and I was in the hospital for so long because my leg stayed numb until Sat. morning. They did an MRI, and everything is okay. I just had a little nerve damage for a moment I guess.
