ok so she finally made it to me..... Lylee Irene Caudillo was born on Wednesday June 25 2008 at 737 pm. She weighed in at 8 lbs even and 20 inches long. the best way to sum it up is like this. she had a short distance to go but a long jounary gettin here. everything was going so good. they gave me pitocin at 1130 am. dr broke my water at 1250 pm. so i was i heavy labor that point. major back labor too!!!!! so i got my epi at 300 pm. and i was fine. it was 650 pm and i was told to start pushing, so i did. ALOT!!!! i guess at first i didnt have the hang of it so they were telling me how to focus my pushing down there. my dr was not able to stay for the delivery. so he left at 620 pm with thinking all was going to be normal. i mean there was no reason to think diffrerently. boy i wish i knew then what i know now. so the mid wife comes in. my dh on my left side my mom on my right side and mid wife in the front of me. they were all telling me to keep pushing and that i was doing it right. i hit the right spot to push. they had smiles on their faces.....then the smiles turned to fear.....and they all looked like something major was wrong....and it was. long story short, lylees face was half way out and she kept going in and out. but then the worst of the worst. she got stuck. like badly. her left arm was on her chest and from her shoulder down was stuck behind my pelvic bone, when she fianlly came out she was not breathing. they had to resesitate her with the bag. it was so so so scary. the mid wife told me to never have a va___al birth agian. and that what lylee had was called shoulder disortia- spelling is wrong. less then 1% of babies are born like that. im not explaining it all the way cuz im way tired but i wanted to tell you about my baby girl. so now we are home and both are doing good. she is a very content baby..... i love her very much
