When does the baby usually go into the head down poition? I am 31 weeks pregnant and was just curious. And how do you know if the baby is in that position?

Your OB will be able to tell. Usually you can feel the baby's head with your hand right above your pubic bone. It is hard to miss since it is round and hard, and a the baby's bottom is soft. You should be able to grab the baby's head between your thumb and first finger. If you can't find it, ask your OB to put your hand in the right place so you can feel for yourself.
