Mamakeya--I would think you should be on weekly visits from 36 weeks on, but I am in the same position you are. My last visit was at 35 weeks and my next isn't until a day before I turn 38 weeks. That's about two and a half weeks in between. I could deliver by then! And, I have not been checked for GBS yet; I had it last pregnancy. I've had contractions thoughout the day today, thanks to a little intimacy with hubby! :) I question calling the doctor, since I am 36 weeks 3 days--so still premature--but I don't think this is IT yet. I had contractions with my first pregnancy for a couple of weeks leading up to labor, and I knew when it was real. This isn't real; the contractions aren't consistent. Anyway, Mamakeya, I understand about being frustrated with having more weeks between visits! :) It doesn't seem fair!

Thanks girls that's what I thought but maybe I'll go before then and I won't need to visit him anymore for a check up. Well that's wishful thinking how is everyone doing. Rachel where are you.

Hi girls! I'm here. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I come home from work and just crash these days. But I only have this week and next week, then I start maternity leave! Yipee!! I'm so excited! I started the every week doctor appointments now. This morning everything looked good. Baby Levi is head down, but hasn't started to drop yet. I had the strep B test down today, so hopefully that's fine. Anyhow....so it sounds like we got some girls getting close! That's so exciting!! Jazminesmom-are you still hanging in there or did that baby come? Cynthia-how long to they want to keep those twins in there? I know with mulitples, they usually come early, right? Amy-how's your house? Are you moved in yet? Our bas____nt is finally done!! So we've been moving stuff downstairs. It's so nice to have a place in the house that's clean and finished! The upstairs is still in various stages of remodel, but at least the bas____nt is done. We put our bedroom and the nursery in the bas____nt, so I now have the crib all set up and am starting to feel more prepared for the baby. Keya- that must've been a disappointment to be told it wasn't labor yet. But soon we will all be holding our precious babies!! I can't wait!! Anyhow, I'll try to post more frequently.... ~Rachel

Well, I had my appointment today. I will be 38 weeks on Thursday. I'm finally at weekly appointments now. Mine were every other week until now as well. Thought for sure I'd be a little dialated since I've been having pains lately off and on. But, no, my cervix is still closed. I have a feeling I will go past my due date. Hope everyone is doing well!!!! - Joann

well I had Aiden Markus on March 14, 2008 at 4:26pm. he weighed 8lbs 3 oz and was 20.5 inchs long. I had to have a c-section which i didn;t want but oh well. he is so handsome, he had breathing problems after he was born so they took him to the nicu and he is on a breathing machine, he is getting better they are weaning his oxigen and he is taking breaths on his own with the machine. i don't know how long he will be in there. maybe a couple of weeks, but nothing is set in stone. well talk to you ladies later.

oh yeah i forgot to mintion, i was 37 week 2days

Congrats, Jazminesmom!!!!!!!! Did they induce you, or did you start labor on your own. I'm sure he'll be breathing on his own and in your arms at your home in a short time. I think that's common for c-section babies. I will pray for little Aiden.

Congratulations, Jazminesmom! I hope your baby starts breathing well on his own very quickly so that you can enjoy holding him in your arms in the comfort of your own home! But, aren't we grateful for the technologies of science today! Praise God He gifted men with wisdom to help the sick. Welcome to the world, Aiden! Hopefully, you will have many more playmates born in the NEAR future! :)

Hi all!! Hey congrats to Jazminesmom!!! Our first lucky mom from the ABC!!! :) So who's next? Well, last week when they checked me the doc said that Levi was still really high and I had a ways to go. (Not surprising since I'm not due till April 16) But this morning when she checked, she said I'm 70% effaced and the baby is at station -1. So something's happening at least. How's everyone else doing on these measurements? Does this mean I could have the baby soon, or should I still plan on it not being for awhile? Keya, on a side note, I'm really sorry about your husband. You deserve so much better for you and your precious kids. I can't even read his posts on the other thread, it makes me sick that a husband and father could act like that. Anyhow, stay strong. How's your baby? You're coming up on your due date soon. Any progress? And Amy, how's your house? Are you moved in yet? Well, I'm off to bed. This is my last week of work, then it's maternity leave. Yipee!! :) I'm so ready! ~Rachel

Oh, and Jazminesmom, did you get to take your beautiful baby home yet?

Hey Girls I'm doing much better last week I was in the hospital for 3 days due to dehydration and Migraine, and the rest I got in the hospital was well needed I'm now 38 weeks and 1 day, and I have a appt. on sat the 29th, the nurses in the hospital said I should go early because the whole time I was in there I was contracting, but if not my doctor will induce me next week (week39). Rachel yep that's him, he thinks he is funny. I learned you can't change a person that person has to want to make a diffrence in his or her life. So as I said before right now I only have 2 concerns getting to D-day and making sure my other 3 kids are happy. How is Cynthia and the twins doing and jazmensmom is baby home, I hope everyone is feeling good and set to deliver, did anyone have a babyshower I think I missed that part I'll have to reread and see how those went or was everyone remodling, and moving into homes. Well take care everyone and send those updates I always look forward to seeing how we are all doing. Keya

Well, I'm now 38 1/2 weeks along. I had an appointment yesterday, and still nothing. No dialation, no effacement. I think she's comfy in my tummy. Rachel - my friend went a week at the measurements you're at before she had hers. Could be sooner, too. Jazminesmom - glad to hear Aiden is doing much better. Well - I'll keep checking the forum. My next appointment is Monday, and I doubt I will have any changes before that. I feel like I'm going to pregnant forever. - Joann
