Okay, so little Creedence is starting this new thing where when she moves, it hurts like hell. It feels like she is 2 feet long in there. I was trying to work last night and it was literally making me exclaim words of pain. My mom was like "what, what's going on!". I said nothing, she's just moving. There goes my hopes of this being my calm one. The kiddos and I are gonna drive to Houston for the weekend. I REALLY don't want to drive 3 hours by myself with kids that have bladders the size of peanuts. And I make sure my husband knows it. But he's driven down every other time, mostly right after he gets off work, so I guess I'll be nice and do it. Plus it'll be a change of scenery and give my parents a break from my hellians. Really hope I can get our portable DVD player working!!!! I hope little Patti-kins graces us again soon. Miss her...:-( Alicia, I asked my sister about the fluid and I was wrong, her fluid wasn't high, her kid just liked to flip. Just stay off of google and listen to your doctor. Based on Mason's size and your fluid level, maybe it is possible that the gd test was inaccurate.

I think maybe it was too. I guess we will know shortly. I hope the trip isn't too ling for ya. I wouldn't do it and I ahve no kids to drag with me. But I am sure it will be nice for you to get away. Like a mini vaca.... Oh how I would love a vaca right now... But that's a different story...lol.

What have your levels been so far, if you don't mind me asking? A bowl of mixed fruit would get me about as far as leaving the table and then I would be starving. I had Rice Crispies this morning, which didn't do a whole bunch for hunger control, so I was gonna get a bagel from my corner store, but they were out. I was so ticked. Alicia, I drove all the way to Florida from Texas with 3 children over Christmas. Granted, at the time I was only 7 weeks pg and the DVD player was working (which makes a HUGE difference). But the problem with Houston is that by the time I would be getting there, traffic will be gridlocked. Houston is notorious for awful traffic and that is mainly the reason I haven't packed up and moved there to be with Carl (besides the fact that he is supposed to be offshore more than he is right now, so he wouldn't actually be in Houston all that much. That kinda sounded like I didn't want to be with my husband, but that's not it!) There is no such thing as 'getting away' for me. Even when Carl is around, the kids are so used to coming to me for everything, I still can't 'get away'. I'm like hello, you have a whole nuther parental unit right over there!

That's how it was in my family and still is. No matter what it would be when we were kids we went right to my Mom. Even if she was on the other side of the house we would yell for her before yelling for my Dad. Kids just do that i guess. I hate traffic. i have no pateince for it anymore. Yesterday on the way to the doc I was in some traffic not much still going like 20-30mph but I couldn't stand to even be on the highway. It was crazy....lol. I hope you get the dvd player rolling if not... Give em so nap nap meds and put those suckers to sleep... ( oh geeze that sounded bad)

HAHA!!! Napnap meds. That's freaking hi-larious. The babysitter even asked me if I wanted her to put them down for a nap in case I wanted them to sleep on the way up there. But the way I figured it was if they took a nap on the way up there (at like 4:00 in the afternoon) they would NEVER get to sleep. And lord knows I'm gonna be tired when we get there. My luck is I would slip benadryl into their sippy cups and it would wire them! I have this uncontrolable urge to shop right now (which is unusual for me). It's hard when there is finally a little money in the bank not to go b__w it on frivolous things. But I gotta keep reminding myself if I wanna stay home with the baby..........no touchy!

Should I be worried that all the movements I feel are above my belly b___ton? Very very rarely do I feel anything down low. Whether she is head down or head up, wouldn't you think I would feel something down low?

Hey Ladies, thanks for the kind words last week when i had to rant :) i was feeling so rotten, but i feel like i've gotten a second wind so to say.... baby has gotten HUGE and i am just having to readjust once more the way i get up and down, the way i move, and the total lack of energy i have now... thank goodness we're on the countdown!! im due aug 3rd so just 8 weeks left for me now... YAY!!! and SUPER YAY i got health coverage starting june first so my doctor made me do all the prenatal bloodwork and the glucose test today.... ugh that sweet orange drink made me feel so pukey for some reason, too much sugar i guess. But its a HUGE relief to know that the expense of the birth is now covered, so i am feeling really really grateful for that.

hi everyone, sorry i haven't been on it wouldn't let me log in all week long. I have some devestating news, my little brother, jamie died last night from a car wreck. He was in the hospital for about 15 hours before he died. He was only 23. I honestly didn't know it would hurt so much. Please keep my family in your prayers, and he has a little boy that turns 2 this month. please just pray for us and that baby boy of his.

So I am off to Louisville, KY for a week of training for my company. After much contemplation... I am going to travel at 32 weeks. My midwife says that I am perfectly healthy and just to walk around as much as possible and drink lots of water when flying! Anyways, it's either go now to this training or go once I get back from maternity leave... I couldn't see leaving my baby for 5 days when he or she is 4 months old! So with much trepidation and anxiety, I am going! The nice thing is that they put us up at a really nice hotel... great beds and a nice gym, so atleast I can still get my daily miles in... I have a dog that gets walked daily and I need that help with circulation! Is anybody else noticing the feet swelling yet??? It just started for me last weekend! By the end of the day my toes look like little weenies from beanies and weenies cans! YUCK! So I opted to pack mostly pants instead of my usual capris, so nobody has to see my Cankles! Anyway, I will have my laptop and be reading up on everyone, but wish me luck with this flying c___p and sitting in training for 8 hours a day!
