Gabbi - can't wait to see Casey's room! I know it will be adorable!! I too amd feeling really uncomfortable today for some reason. Very short of breath and it feels really hard to take in a good deep breath. Maybe she is invading my lungs now too. Ugh and the heartburn saga continues as well. Can you belive that I have four more work days and they have yet to even hire someone for my position let alone get them in so I can train them. What a disorganized mess. There is no way that even if they got someone in today that I would be able to teach them even a 1/4 of what they need to know. I asked them to give me someone a month in advance, and here we are the week I finish with still no one. Hubby tells me not to stress about it and it is not my problem, but I can only imagine how confused the new person will be coming in here at the start of our crazy busy season and try and figure out what the heck they are doing on their own, since no one else really knows what all I do and all the invoicing and company deposits. I can only imagine how messed up it will all become within the year that i will be off. It's not like it is a sudden suprise that I am leaving. I only told them in January!

Had a great weekend here! Getting around daily summer storms in FL and it makes you have to plan a early day outside, but its fine by me! Those of you wondering how to get the backs of your legs and back tan... I have a floppy raft that I can lay on my stomach in the pool! It is AWESOME! The baby moves all over bc my belly is submerged in the water and I can relax and feel the sun on my back! Try it... not one of those hard mats! The raft I have I got from Walgreens for like $8. It is totally worth it! So far i have only gained 23lbs... and I am all belly! I wasnt skinny to start, but I still wear my bikini... I dont care what anyone thinks! Comfort is most important to me! I read on here about someones doc telling them to stay off the boat! I go on the boat all the time... its better if you stand up and ride with the waves, but we usually just go to our "spot" and then hang for the day! Not a lot of riding around. My doc says if I EVER feel uncomfortable, dont do it! I think that is a great rule of thumb! Anyways, 6 more weeks to go and I cant believe it! Hope everyone is doing well and getting excited like I am1 Not knowing the s_x is such an amazing thing... I cant wait to meet him or her!

Boohdah - that is a great rule of thumb to go by! You made me really want to go to the lake right now and lay in the sun on a little raft!! Sounds so much more appealing than sitting here stressing at work!! ANd yup I too am still wearing a bikini top and board shorts as well. If people don't liek to look at my big belly, then they can turn away!! RIght?? :) That is very exciting to have the gender suprise coming up!! I am the only one (well aside from all of you on here!!) that knows that I am having a girl - hubby doesn't even know, so it is still kinda liek a big suprise to come!! No one in the family knows either, so it is my little suprise to them all! I can't believe I have been able to keep it a secret the whole time and not slip up and let someone know that I know what it is!! It has been kinda fun!!:)

Patti- I can't believe you only have 4 more days....I have like 40.... You suck...lol Just kidding. I wish we had 1 yr off here.... BUt I couldn't afford to be off a year without pay. So i guess that would rule that out. I am getting super annixous. I was sitting out by the pool yesterday and I swear he was trying to pop his head out and say hi to everyone... It felt awful then I thought to myself this ahs to be a cake walk compared to labor....

Are you working right up to when you are due Alicia?? Lol... funny picture imagine Mason sticking his little head out at the pool to get some rays!! heehee!! :0) It is getting exciting isn't it!! We are soo close now and it jsut seems like the other day that we all met on the first tri board and were only a few weeks preggers then!! Time flies!! And yes our year mat leave is a beautiful thing. We only recieve 59% of our regualar pay, but I will take that and try to stay home for as long as I can.

HA! Screw Obama, I'm moving to Canada! I wanna decorate a nursery now, thanks. I keep hara__sing my husband to put up the crib every weekend since I am finally wanting to nest a bit and he seems to 'forget'. Well, I've waited long enough and I'm doing it myself. I really want some sun now too dangit. It's funny because I would never ever consider wearing a bikini non-pregnant, but that is all I've worn so far this pregnancy (with shorts of course). Gabbi, do you know the deal on Short Term Disability. Someone was talking about it on another thread. I guess I am just hoping there is something out there for self employed people. I told my boss today that in a few weeks he can't send me far from the office to measure in case I go into labor. He was like "when are you going to quit working" I said "When I have her." That kinda freaked him out.

ok, went to the beach. ahhhh. so refreshing. i try laying in the water on my belly in the shallow end, with the kids to get tan on my legs, but i never stay down long enough to get enough sun. my back is really dark, actually i am peeling, it got burnt, but its the back of my legs i have the problem with. i would get the float, but i cant float very far from shore, cuz of my babies. but it is a good idea! i swear the water does wonders on my swollen feet and legs! they actually look normal sometimes when i get home. maybe its the coolness idk, but i like looking at my normal legs, lol. oh well, nap time now, yawwnnnnn. im exhausted, i can't sleep at night at all, my legs and hips hurt so badly. my mom thinks i have nerve damage in my back like her and my dad. ugh. i was sitting on the couch yesterday and i couldn't get up at all. i couldn't move without the pain stabbing me. it took about 3 minutes to manuever myself off of the couch so i could get up and check on kids. i think my doc is gonna do an mri on my back and hips after teh baby comes.

Patti again you suck honey. I kid... But i only get 60% for 6 wks if v____ally and 8 if cseation and then i can get another 4-6 weeks off none paid. Oh well... I would drive myself nuts if i was home for a year.... And yes I am going to try and work up until I can't waddle my way in here anymore. All I do is sit at a desk unless I go to the fridge or the bathroom. So i should be good to go...lol. Danielle I ahve found that if I put my feet in the water at night they dont swell as bad either... I love to get in the pool and just let them soak....

Alicia, what are we gonna do when everyone takes off for maternity leave? :-( Danielle, I feel ya on the hip pain at night. I am constantly tossing from side to side to get relief. However, it's getting much much harder to toss. I feel like a whale flopping around on a beach trying to get to water.

No worries Erin I will still check in daily! I can't imagine not talking with you guys, especially during these last few weeks!! Alicia - I am kinda thinking that I amy go nuts being home that long too, especially through our lonnngggg colllldddd winter, but I am hoping that maybe I can go with Wyatt to work for a bit somewhere in there, but we will see if that happens. Way to go for staying there at work as long as you can as well!! Did you guys have any luck finding Jeremy a truck?? So far I really like my new Xterra - not real fond of how thirsty it seems to be all the time, but I love the room. I am still driving my car though right now because I have to commute into the city every day still and it is 140km round trip/day so it is cheaper on the pocketbook to drive the little car. All this talk of te beach and swimming is really making me want to just go somewhere and stick my fat achey feet into some cold water. The sink in the bathroom even sounds inviting at this point!! lol!!

You better check in with us. I was even thinking about giving you guys my cell so i could text ya'll when I am in labor. I know most of the other boards did it but I didn't know if you guys wanted too.... I'm down...lol. We did find him a truck. Its a 2003 Dodge Ram 4 door full loaded really nice 4x4. We got it for $8200 which is a steal bcuz if we went to a lot we would of paid 15-16k on it so I guess I am happy.....lol.

The truck sounds good!! And def a steal of a deal on the price!! At least that is one thing off the worry about list for now!! I would love to get texts from you when the time comes!! I too will give you guys mine. But I will be on here everyday until then. It kinda works out good. Doc has ordered me that I have to sit and get my feet and legs up at least three times a day adn for at least a half hour each time, so that will be my chat with you guys time on the laptop! Works out perfect!!

Hey guys! I dont have alot of time to post/read bc Im training my replacement these next 3 to 4 weeks, but i just wanted to tell you guys that my 3 hour came back perfect!!! I DONT HAVE GESTATIONAL DIABETES!! YAY!!. That is a load off my mind bc i do not diet well at all!! Hope everyone's monday is going good!

Hey everyone what is with this site latly it keeps re routing me to some virus scan that is like hell to get out of...so i am glad to read everyone is doing good i'm jelous i have not been to the beach or in a pool since i got pregnant i would love to but first being seen in a bathingsuit is not my idea of fun right now and second i dont have a pool i did however stick my feet in my 2yr old nephews lil plastic pool last week it felt great lol....i wound up just getting a car too i had a 2 door chevy cav and that was not going to work so we got a used 07 4 door mitsubishi galant i love it i feel so adult lol.... I also got my crib changing tabel and dresser on sunday the lady i babysat for like the last 9 yrs for best friend gave us her stuff really cute and in great condition so that saves us money there big help...I gave alicia my cell # i think that is a cute idea to let us all know when we go into labor anyone else doing it too? well hope you all have happy tuesdays and i will try to post more often i miss having all of you to talk to on a daily basis!
