My friggin belly b___ton popped out this morning! I thought I was going to be able to get through the entire pregnancy without it popping out!

lol gabby, thats too funny... mine is still in and still deep. my husband says I have the deepest belly b___ton in the world so I dont expect mine to even come close to popping out.

I'm not really sure what the checking in appt is - I guess I will find out she told me that if i dont do it when I am in labor they will be asking me a million questions so its best to get it over with now. I think violet just sucker punched me lol all of a sudden my whole belly jumped - Hey she hasnt had the hiccups lately I just realized that lol

Just checking in before I head out to do some gardening -it's gorgeous here today:) The test they do for GBS (a swab test) is for Group B Strep (a bacterial infection)...if the test is pos and you have it, they'll put you on a course of antibiotics prior to/during delivery so that it doesn't get pa__sed on to the baby. So when is everyone due again? Who's next? I'm due June 3rd...and getting very excited:) And I can't wait to hear from Kay and Marisol!!! I can't remember how far along Marisol was -glad to see both she and the baby are doing ok. And Dawn, I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but here, they encourage ppl to pre-register at the hospital so that you don't have to fill out lots of paperwork when you go in 'cause you're in labor;) I did it through my pre-natal cla__ses and they just asked a bunch of questions about insurance, contact ppl whether I wanted a private/semi-private room, etc. It only took a few minutes to do but I can imagine it would be one of the last things I'd want to have to deal with if I was in pain. Maybe that's the 'checking in' thing? Oh and Gabby, my belly b___ton popped a few weeks ago and although I thought I'd hate it (thought it would freak me out), I'm actually ok with it...although hopefully once the baby's here, I'll go back to being an 'innie' again:)

Eastcoast I think ur right .. she said it would take a hour about .. so she made me an appt for the 20th over the phone my due date is june 4th i will probably go after that knowing my body lol

Hmm, I wonder why my doc never said anything about that checking in appt thing. Maybe they will tell me at my next appt. I just ran over to Jersey to get gas and I stopped into the salon that I used to work at and all the girls were so funny. They kept touching my belly though, and I had to smack their hands. It's weird seeing people you haven't seen in a while, esp when you're preggo.

hey girls - I had some major cramping and back aches at 3am last night. I thought for sure I was going into labor but it stopped. By the way eastcoast, my due date is June 2 - so I THINK I am next on the list but I can't remember! Oh my gosh, 2 babies already!!!! So exciting! Can't wait to hear all the details! Dawn, I pre-registered by going to my hospitals website. It was pretty simple. Don't know what your hospital requires though. I just did it on Sunday and I'm thinking it was good timing the way things are going! My dh talked to the nurse yesterday and she told me I could go tonight or anytime in the next week - that my cervix is extremely favorable. Whatever. I think it could be today, tomorrow or 3 weeks from now. BUT...my mom offered to take my dd for the weekend (my sister will be seeing my mom so she'll drive her over there) and I have the weekend FREEEEEEEEE!!! I'm gonna make a hair, nail appointment and pamper myself. :) yay! My belly b___ton popped months ago too...but no stretch marks yet!! If he comes early I might get away with none! :) Newlywed/Gabby - only 22-23 pounds??? I've gained TWICE that!!! :) Lucky you! :) I even had to take my wedding ring off last night as I seem to be starting to swell big time. I am getting excited now - I washed some baby clothes last night and they just look sooo tiny!!! I need to get the little baby cosleeper out and wash the sheets now....I'm getting there....slowly! :) I'm supposed to be taking it easy but it's hard to do when it could be any moment.

wow, all this baby news and excitement is making me emotional. I just want to cry!!!!Fefer, I'm jealous---you're going to have that baby tonight or soon after... :-P Sorry I've ben so quiet lately! I have been just SWAMPED at work, so I barely have enough time to just get in and read your posts. I have no time to post my own responses! I only have a week and a hlaf of work left, then I'm off to KC to be living with my DH again...and I will have to get used to cooking and cleaning again. Lol...but I don't think that will be a problem because I'm pretty sure I've hit that "nesting stage"...except I have nothing ot organize or clean, because its all packed away...so I'm cleaning at my sisters house..I'm living there for the next two weeks, and holding her little baby as much as possible... my niece is already almost 2 months!!! Shes so adorable... anyhow...yeah---so not being able to "nest" yet is making me antcy. I can't wait to get moved into our new apartment! Gabby, Yeah- I figured that if this is all I've gained so far... I'll be good by the time the baby gets here....Dawn- OMG I saw the cherry blossom stroller and pack and play that you were talking about with your registry, and I LOVE it! I registered at Burlingtons Baby Depot...but now I'm re-thinking going to Babies R Us because they have some cuter things....agh.. I dunno! We found the baby bedding we want to get for Dante's crib. Its called Bubbles Baby or Baby Bubbles by lambs and Ivy and its an aquatic theme...so cute! We got a new living room furniture set at Nebraska Furniture Mart for jsut around 1100! Its a red couch and loveseat with a coffee table, two end tables, two lamps, and pillows! I can't wait for them to come!

soes anyone else get those bubbly feeling way down low...down there...that makes it feel like somethign is coming out of your hoo ha...but its nothing? Its just like weird muscle stretching or something?Anyone? Oh Heather, hey, you have only 4 more months till DH comes home! Thats going ot go by really fast after the baby is born. I bet you're excited!

I'm getting a double chin.... anyone else? My belly b___ton hasn't popped yet either, Heather... you're due sooner than me though! um...no stretch marks except on the bbs!!! Yuck...

what is that? Seriously...it feels so strange!!! Sometimes it feels like my hole down there is expanding then contracting...!!! weird weird weird. Does it feel that way to you too? Oh...and does anyone know when the baby is supposed to move head down? The doc found the baby's heartbeat down right by my belly b___ton...which is low... so I was just wondering if he's head down yet... hmmmmmmmmm

I bet your baby is head down - mine is and it feels like he's pressing on my cervix...probably a similar thing with you but I don't know for sure.

so this is all pretty normal to be feeling right now, huh? I know its silly, but I wish I'd have the baby sooner that June 28th...IF he's ready. I'm so impatient. Someone slap me!

I know exactly what feeling you girls are talking about I think to myself a hand is going to come out of there and wave at me lol !! lately i been getting that sharp pointy feeling like in my cervix and that hurts other then that my whole belly is just sore and achey ...I see why when people get to the end they are like 'Ok out already' lol I wish I could pre register and I had filled out a form for it at my 1st doctors but since I went over to that clinic now i have to start over which sucks. Newlywed I got that playard and the swing and bag for it but the travel system is too expensive so i will skip that lol I think I need a longer midsection cause i am major uncomfortable like i feel all squashed and just like puking. hm ok well I am back to laying down ttyl

oh wow! Congratulations to Marisol! whew time is flying by, yeah? so i just got out of the hospital again for preterm labor! argh. not last night but the night before around 8 pm i started to get contractions and they were three minutes apart and they were consistent for two hours till i went to the hospital and i got put on mag drip again. i hate that stuff. geez this baby wants out! lol but i am back home again and on bedrest again. so i'm back. sheesh this in and out of the hospital stuff is driving me crazy! wow fefer looks like you may be next! ooooh so exciting... i'm just trying to keep baby in so he can cook for a bit longer but i think he wants to play with crow and get into the action already! lol
