Castrol Oil Advice Please

hi everyone, Im a few days shy of 36 weeks and im just dieing to have this baby.. everything hurts I mean everything.. I cant take it anymore plus Im finally getting a girl and I cant wait to see her.. this is my 3rd baby. Im thinking of trying the castrol oil and wanted some advice on is it ok?? help please

I don't know that I could take castrol oil, but there are other things they say induce labor. Having s_x, or a foot ma__sage, there are pressure points in your feet that can trigger early labor according to my OBGYN...It probably would feel pretty good too! I plan to get mine done 2nd or 3rd weekend of April just to see if it works. I am ready to pop this little girl out too!

I wouldn't it take it personally. It's a laxative and will give you a stomach ache, might make you throw up and the runs. It probably wouldn't help much more then eating spicy foods, having s_x or going on a walk.

Another reason not to take it--my best friend is due any day now and I'm just getting into my 3rd trimester. She asked her doc about it and her doc said that not only will it give her diarrhea but can give it to the baby causing the baby to have a bowel movement prematurely in utero. If the baby swallows the meconium it could cause serious complications. My daughter did this and luckily it wasn't too severe and my doc was able to suction it out but I wouldn't take the chance!
