Ladies hi, just a quick question, is it normal to start dropping at about 33 weeks? I am going on 35 and my l/o has been dropping steadily for about 2 wks now. I dont go back to the doc till this Friday and I am curious. I actually felt her go down further last night when I got up on one of the many potty trips. Now it seems every ligament in my lower belly is screaming in pain. Thank you!!!

Yup, it's completely normal, as is (unfortunately) the pain as your LO's head is now going to be pressing on nerves and ligaments down there.

Oh I am sorry you have to deal with the pain of that but look at it this way...it will be way less for you to push when the babe is ready to come out!! I was fully dialated for 4 hours before my sweet LO dropped!!!! Making what was a super quick labor (3-10cm in about 2 hours) a lot longer! ha!

Yep normal. And no, unfortunately, it doesn't mean that baby is coming any time soon. I dropped around 32 weeks and carried until 40 weeks 6 days at which time I had an emergency c-section and was only dilated a centimeter. It'll be over soon though!
