Snappy- thanks haha. Yea racing is a huge part of our lives, im in it no matter what! The farther along you get the less you will feel the baby. Hes running out of room! About the peanut thing, they are now saying its important to introduce your child to peanuts at a young age to prevent allergies. Ive always heard the opposite. I have a 19 month old and ive avoided peanuts like the plague, lol.

hey girls. So I think I will skip the castro oil then. What do you do with the prim rose oil? Thank god I am not alone in this pelvic pain!!! sorry!! lol! I dont wish pain on you but it feels better that I am not the only one! It is weired how once I am up and moving and have showered it chills out!! But hey thank god for that!! it could be 24/7. newbaby - be prepaired because a ride like that can defintly bring on contractions!! With my first I took a train ride at about 32 weeks from Georgia to N.O. and as soon as i got off that train I wennt to ER cause the contractions were strong and consistant, luckily they were able to stop them after 2 shots. I will say a prayer for you that your lil one holds off!!! I know you are so excited about this race. But like angel said...since it dont want to you will probably be the first to go! lol! snappy - sorry about dd!! my dd is 3 and she is also on antibiotics for the same thing plus ear infection. fourtaintly my dd is handling it pretty well. I have also felt my lil one slow down! But doc said it is a space issue. But I am so parinod I start imagening that so much is going wrong. It is just a scary overwhelming joyful amazing time for us right now so I try to remember with all that to chill out cause I am going thru way to much and am way to emtional to look at it objectivly. Anyway ladies I am so tired my eyes are closing and I am not evn sure if what I am typing even makes sense at this point. kmoselle - Yeah I am having my shower on the 24th! Isnt it so exciting!! It is something nice for us to look forward to that can help keep mind off of WHEN is baby coming!!!

The rig doesnt cause me to have contractions at all. I rode in it my entire pregnancy with my dd and up until i was 5 months with this baby. I was pregnant when we went to Florida in 07, just not far enough along to worry about labor. Its not that i WANT to go. We HAVE to go. I would MUCH rather stay home and relax my last few weeks. But we dont have a choice. The most important thing to us is Ryan be there for the birth of his daughter. So if i stayed home and went into labor here then he would miss it. Racing isnt just somwthing we do. Its my fiance career. Missing one race can get you so far behind you're finished for the season. Then his career is ruined and we live off of bread and b___ter. This Florida trip is 6 races. Not being there would completely destroy his 09 season. It would be even worse for him because he won Rookie of the Year last year so he has to keep his name out there or there is no hope in getting a World Of Outlaw ride. Hes 22, which sound young but is actually getting a little to old to be signed by WOO. We're going to Babies r Us today to get the nursery furniture. We havnt even started the nursery or even our daughters room.

Hey everyone! Just got back in town. I drove 3 hours to my mom's for the baby shower. It was also my nieces first birthday party! I had a blast! It was great seeing family I hadn't seen in years. However, the drive there and back caused a lot of swelling. My feet swelled so much I could not get them into my crocs- which are normally big on me! So I had to go buy mens slippers- they were the only thing I could get my feet into! My DH felt bad for me and treated me to a pedicure, thinking that would help. It didn't. It felt good getting my sore feet ma__saged, but it did nothing for the swelling. Neither did an ice bath or keeping them elevated. Less than 4 weeks and the swelling should go away!!! Snappy- I have been craving peanuts, too! I went and got some yesterday and had a few. I had been eating almonds to satisfy that craving, heard there was no potential for allergy if you ate those, but yesterday I just really wanted honey roasted peanuts. I also bought tons of fresh pineapple! I am ready to have this little guy now!!! So on top of the swelling and impatience... I still have a sinus infection. It has been 2 months now and only getting worse. I sneeze all the time- thank goodness for panty-liners :-) I can't breathe through my nose which gives me a sore throat which keeps me awake all night. This sucks! DH says when I do sleep I snore horrendously! How embarra__sing. So last night I slept in the spare room. At least DH was able to get some sleep. No reason both of us should be tired and miserable all day. We'll get plenty of that sfter DS arrives!

ok i have some exciting news!! i had a midwife appoinment today and while she was feeling Heidi she said she feels full term! (not sure how they know that from feeling her) she said something in my notes about baby palpations? but i think its something about her showing signs of being full term............she said if i didnt allready have a scan booked for nect tuesday then she would of booked me for one as she thinks baby is large and wants me induced if the scan confirms this! she doesnt want to risk me not having a natrual birth because of her size.............i,ve always known she,s big i mean at 29 weeks she was 3lb 5oz at 33 weeks she was 5lb 10 oz!! which was very large so depending on her estiamted weight on tuesday they will book me to be induced!! i will be 37 weeks this sat so im not worried if they get her weight wrong as she will be to term anyway! but from what i gather she weighed what she should do now 4 weeks ago so im defo thinking they,l induce me 2 weeks early! 1 question i didnt ask though is she has bobbed her head back up so her head is no longer engaged, do you think this affects being induced? she's head down but has pulled it back up! at 33 weeks she was 2/5 engaged then it went to 3/5 for two visits and then 4/5 on satureday and now 5/5 which is free! can you still be induced? kmoselle im sorry you still have your sinus cold! it must be awful! i too slepp with my mouth open as my nose always seems to be stuffy and because of that i get a sore throat! and i also snore like a trooper lol! i hope you feel better soon! wow thyats some swelling there! my feet are really bad in the morning it makes me walk to the bathroom like a penguin lol!

my midwife just rang to tell me i tested positive for group B strep infection so i,ll need a drip with antibiotics in while in labour! which means i have to go in earlier!

So I feel in the bathroom on sat night/sun morning. I take about 3 baths a night to releave the pelvic pain and I was trying to put my foot back in my shorts and feel forward. I caught my self on the tub so I didnt hit anything. I started getting burning pains in my belly like I was being caught in a zipper being zipped up on the inside. I went to the ER and they did blood tests and a 45 min u/s. They gave me a shot for the pain so I was in and out during the u/s. Everything is ok I am just sore and pulled muscles/ligaments. I have been sleeping ever since. lol! I am sore but that is it. Thank god!! I did find out that my lil man is about 7 lbs. right now!!! I was 35 weeks and 1 day at u/s. He is a big boy! Ugh! I was secertly wishing that I had a tear in my c - section (that is were the pain was originating from) and they would just take him. I know that is horrible but I just want him here!!! kmoselle - I hope u feel better!! You sound like you are having a rough time! angel - I know you must be excited!! I dont know much about the baby being engaged as I have only had c - sections so I never really worried about that.. what does it mean to have the group b strep? Will everything be ok with heidi?

angelmonkey - January 21

breezibe glad your ok after your fall! looks like your going to have a big baby to! are you haveing a c-section this time around? i think she will be fine as long as i have the drip to give me antiobiotics in labour............it means if i dont get induced and i go in to labour natrualy that i have to go in asap as the antibiotics need time to reach my placenta before she is born

newbaby2009 - January 21

Hey ya'll. Had my exam yesterday. Good news, no progress!! Yay, lol! Baby still high, no dialation, no thinning. At this point with Rylie i was 3 cm dialated and still didnt have her til i was induced so im hoping this is very good news. There were a few concerns. Im showing signs of preeeclampsia. Hes not too concerned as of now but wants to keep a close eye on it. My blood presure was quite high and im swelling very badly in my face, hands, and lower legs. Also i have an umbilical hernia. I thought it was just normal that my belly b___ton was pushing out so much, but no its a hernia. It'll require surgery if it gets any worse. Besides that all was well.

newbaby2009 - January 21

Angel- my baby has disengaed herself as well. Shes now back to being high. It doesnt affect being induced. Some babies never drop. Breezieb- How far along are you? They do a Strep B test at 36 weeks by a v____al and rectal swab. I had mine yesterday, havnt got the results. I didnt have it with my daughter though. Its not a big deal at all as long as you get the antibiotics during delivery. Without it a baby can get very sick very fast after birth. Its a bacteria that causes life threatening illness in newborns.

angelmonkey - January 21

newbaby i didnt know they tested for group B strep as routine where you are.........they dont do it here, they only found i had it from my trip to the hospital when i thought my waters were leaking and she swabbed me for thrush and they found group B............i wonder why they dont do it here if it can cause life threating illness in newborns?

newbaby2009 - January 21

What to expect when you're expecting says "many doctors now play it safe and rountinely test women for Group B strep between 35 and 37 weeks." Its also says if the test isnt offered you can request it. So i guess it isnt routine everywhere but it is where i go. They take it very seriously. As he was doing the test my OB told me about a baby born about a month ago that got it at birth. He was born very healthy and within 4 hours he was near death. Luckily they caught it in time and hes fine now.

breezieb - January 21

I had an exam today and they did do a strep b test on me and said it was routine. They also did a non stress test on me cause baby Matthew is actually measuring closer to 8 pounds and I will be 36 weeks come Saturday. I have to go back in on Monday and have another ultrasound also. I didnt fail my diabetes test but the doc said I just barley pa__sed it. She took me off suger!! UGH! I love sugar! Oh well as long as lil one is healthy!! She said they are going to monitor me closely. I was hoping she would want to take him a lil earlier but no she said as along as he is pa__sing the tests he stays! I am still closed tight!! Newbaby - yay! I know u are excited! I couldnt imagine wishing he would stay in but I know this race is a big thing for yall. I am wishing dh alot of luck for his races. When does everyone go back to get checked again?

angelmonkey - January 22

i actually asked my midwife when they start checking you here and they dont!! they dont check for dialation or anything like that until your in labour!! thats sucks im not even going to know if my body is doing anything lol
