My dh and I have a back-up name picked out, Chase, although I want a completely different name! I really like Lincoln and that is what I want to name him. DH likes it too, but wants to wait for second boy. All our friends and family already call the baby by Hunter.

Anyone else unable to sleep? I toss and turn all night. I wake up sweaty. I feel like DH is hogging the bed (even though it's me taking up the bed cuz my big belly)! I have a bad sinus cold and I just cannot get comfortable. Ugh! I tried Tylenol Sinus PM last night and that didn't help. Hmmm...

I'm having the worst week EVER. I can't sleep either but not because of pregnancy stuff so much. I have TMJ and the swelling that pregnant women get in their gums has caused a "flare up" or something. It hurts so bad I can't stand it anymore. It's giving me migraines, it's hard to sleep, it's hard to eat, it's hard to work... I can't focus on baby cause all I think about is the pain and the dentist can't give me anything cause pretty much the only thing that will make the inflammation and throbbing go away is an antinflammatory like ibuprofen which a pregnant woman can't take, so I pretty much just have to wait it out and I feel like I'm going to lose my mind if it doesn't stop hurting for a while. I can't stand it anymore.

my sleeping is so bad that i have to get my partner to sleep in the baby's room on a b__w up matress just so i can get some sort of sleep! i wake up about 4-5 times in the night too pee and wake up about 6 times just general tossing and turning and what makes it worse is i wake up so thirsty so i take a bottle of water to bed which i drink each time which makes me need to pee more!!.............although i only woke up twice last night!! which felt brilliant lol!! kmoselle i also have a cold which over the last 2 weeks has made my slepping so bad! flybear i really do feel for you! i hope you feel better soon.....when are you due again?

I tried sleeping in our spare room just so I can have space to stretch out. But dh comes in and wakes me up- worried about me and missing me. He's so cute! Flybear- I hope you feel better soon. Tylenol won't help with pain? Or what about a night guard? I can't imagine pain in my mouth like that. It will all be over soon enough- and prayfully all of our swelling and aches and pain and colds will go away when the babies get here!!!

Well ladies, I haven't been around much. Chasing a two year old and trying to stay awake is a task! Went to doctor yesterday at 35w5d and was dialated 4cm! Then yesterday, lost my mucous plug. Looks like I will end up being a January mom! They really want to keep her in there until after Friday into the 36th week but he said he thinks it will be soon! I'm so uncomfortable. Can't sleep at night and I am always hot!

Wow! Good luck to you! I am kind of hoping that all the swelling and pain and everything else means I might be going early, too. But I hope I can make it until at least week 37. Do you know how big your baby is? My doctor says if I do have baby early he can't leave the hospital until 5 1/2 pounds. He is 4 lbs, 7 oz now, according to measurments. So a big, healthy baby I hope!!! Good luck to you!!!

FLYBEAR - I remember something I read about a natural tmj releaf that is suppose to work better than drugs. I can't vouch for it personally... but it is worth looking into!! If you google womans world magazine + tmj you can see the article. I hope this helps!!! Feel better soon Angle and kmoselle - I know sleepin is ridicolus!! I cant even get up in the day cause I am so exhausted from lack of sleep! I wish I knew some answers to get better sleep! I am going to try some benadryl tonight!! jcross - How exciting!!! I went to the doc yesterday and had an ultrasound. He is 5lbs 3oz. I am almost 34 weeks. He is a good healthy boy!! My cervix is tight ! Oh well I guess I will be having him on feb 16th.. I am hoping for a lil sooner!! Kmoselle - how far along are you?

jcross414 - January 8

He says she's about 5.5 to 6 pounds. Really was most concerned with making sure she was in ther for 36 weeks, though would prefer 37. I'm 36w0d today.

kmoselle - January 8

Yes! I'm tired of hearing- "Are you going to name him Casanova?" So cheesy! Letely I have been just saying, "In a few weeks." Last night I told a lady who asked- Valentine's Day. She asked why I was so big already! I was like- it's only a month away!!!

Can I ask how much weight everyone has gained and where you gained it? I gained 34 pounds (so far) and most of it is in my belly. Some went to upper hips or love handles! and a little bit to my inner thighs. My dh says some went to my b___t, but I think that is more that my hips are now widening, they really didn't get any additional fat. And my b___bs look so huge now- even though I'm still wearing the same bra size- not sure how that happened! Maybe they are just more full. I was a bit overweight before I got pregnant, but I carried all my weight in my belly and b___t anyway. And to top off the weight gain- I am now swelling all over- my face, arms, hands, feet, knees and ankles. Even my nose looks like it is retaining water!!!

Talk about not sleeping. I sleep maybe 2 hours a night. My pelvis dislocated itself around 20 weeks and gets worse every week. Its not so bad until i lay down and then the pain is agonizing. I wake up in tears because i move in my sleep. Its takes like 3 minutes just to roll over because it hurts so bad. I can hear and feel the bones grinding against each other. They changed my due date to Feb 18 AGAIN today. Thats was going by my 6 week ultrasound. I also have low fluid levels so they're concerned about that.

Hi everyone, I am joining a little late I guess .. I am due Feb 19th but having a planned C section sometime between 10th - 12th of Feb. A little bit about myself... I am 39 years old and this will be my second baby. I have a 2.5 year old daughter that I gave birth to by an emergency C hence why I am opting for a planned one this time. I was sleeping OK so far, but now I have the most horrible head cold and I am so miserable I could cry, and I wake up like 5 times a night. Kmoselle to answer your question about weight gain to date I gained 20 lb. I am 34 weeks today. Most of it is in my belly area, but I did gain some in the upper hips as well oh and my b___bs are bigger - I went form a C cup to a D cup. I was also at least 10lb. overweight when I conceived. Newbaby, how do they know you have low fluid levels .. I am curious to know, because I am always worried about stuff and that is something I worry about. I am so sorry about your pelvis isn't there anything they can do to help you with it. I get sore hips nowadays when in bed, but they get better as soon as I am up and about.

Snappy- I had a rountine ultrasound at 31 weeks and thats when hey discovered the low fliud levels. No, there is nothing they can do about my pain. My doc says it will disappear after delivery. I just dont know if i can take 6 more weeks of it. Words cant even describe he pain. My doc compared it to having a broken foot untreated for 20 weeks and being forced to walk on it. About weight gain, my starting weight was 135 and im at 167 so 32 lbs. Its all belly and b___b. I went from a small C to a DD. Before i had my 18 month old daughter i was a small B. I went up to a D with her and stayed at a C afterwards. I m hoping to go back to a small C. I have a small frame and its so hard on my back.
