Good morning, ladies! Kimmer, I'm not really sure how many sleepers will be needed as this is my first one. However, my hubby and I are always on the go and I want to make sure that I have plenty so I'm not doing laundry every other day. So, I went to a neighborhood garage sale and bought a ton of them. They're all in perfect shape because they weren't used that long. Also, I've caught the cold that's going around. I had an doctor appt. yesterday, and he didn't offer any relief. So, I'm stuffed up and achy. Bleh! Okay, time to let you guys in on my current paranoia. I'm getting really excited because my shower is next weekend, but I'm sort of terrified that nobody will show up. I had around 30 people to invite, and my sister-in-law, best friend and mom all wanted to throw me a shower. Since I had so many people, I just told them that I would split up my list and we could do two showers. So, my bff and mom decided to throw one together and my sister-in-law recruited a mutual friend to help her. But now, one of them is next weekend, and I'm afraid that, because I split up my list, I'll only have a couple of people show up to each one. I'm being paranoid, I know!

mcbee- ppl will show up! i was nervous about the same tthing with my first but everyone came! sleepers are amazing like i said!!!! i have about a million with this one becuase they really are life savers. with all the clothes they upchuck on and potty thru and everything else its really easy and warm for them to get those and they just chill in them for the first few months. yes outfits are nice, but with little boys especially the sleepers are great for home and store trips, maybe even some family ones where you're just goin to ur inlaws or something.

hey kimmer i don't know if you remember me but i think we were on the same ttc forum. I haven't got on here forever and just decided tonight that i would get on to see what had happend to everyone u r so far the only on i found still on here. I still have yet to concieve. I am no longer actively ttc. this will make 14 months of trying and nothing. So i think i am going to just let GOD do what he does and stop trying and maybe one day it will happen, but i already have been blessed with four and will be satisfied with that. I am glad to see u and baby r doing well. Take it easy and enjoy it. The pregnancy goes so fast. I am sure u are now anxious to see your little baby. But it will come soon enough. So take care!

mama4 - I defintely remember you. Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to have another little one. A lot of the girls that we all talked to are still there (I still tlak with them) under Twins and Multiple Birth, Clomid Success Stories November '08. Good luck finding them. How is everyone else doing? It sounds like a bunch of us have showers coming up soon - that's exciting! I have another one this weekend, on Nov. 16th...should be a fun time! austynsmommy - I SO want another u/s too, but my doc said I won't get one unless there is an issue...part of me hopes he doesn't turn right away sos that she needs to take a peak in there...I just can't want to see him again :)

Kimmer23 - November 12

Oh, and mcbee - I don't think you need to worry about people coming to your shower. People are bad about rsvping, but they'll show-up! :)

misscrotts - November 12

hey at least you guys get a shower!!! i had one with my first baby, but with this one if i wanted to have one i would have to throw it myself and unfourtunatley i dont have time to do that, but hey it isnt terrible right i will live lol. last night my hubby was pokin my belly and the baby started to poke back...so they played that game for awhile, and then he got sick of it but i guess the baby still wanted to play becuase he got kicked really hard when he just put his hand down and left it set there. lol. not a whole lot has been going on, i had an appointment monday but rescheduled it to friday becuase i was waiting for over an hour and i was never seen, everyone but me even the people after me got called in to the office before i did and i got angry and just rescheduled. i shouldn't do that since i only have 7 weeks left until my section, but i figure if they can b__w me off i can b__w them off too right. besides that way i didnt make anyone mad with the undoubtedly rude comments that would have come with my "sorry for your wait" when i was called back. i have a temper when i am not pregnant, but oh boy pregnant i am a force to be reconed with lol. have a good night ladies, i am exhausted i am goin to hit the sack!

mcbee - November 13

Well, I've had a few people RSVP, but I'm still paranoid. I'll just feel so badly if my mom and bff go through all this trouble and I only have a few people show up. Oh, well! Misscrotts, I have to say, you were nicer about than I would have been. I wouldn't have been worried about the rude comments. I would have just let them come. Like most of us, my schedule is CRAZY, and finding time to fit in doctor's appointments is not an easy thing to do!

mcbee- yeah i wish i hadnt been so nice and had them just see me, but i only getta see my inlaws every so often. so tomorrow i am planning a HUGE surprise for the hubby, gonna buy him a new wedding band. the one we got married with is too big and such, so i am goin to coax him into the jewlry store and then when he isn't expecting it i will buy it. i think i know his size, but i am really not too sure. i need him to be sized, that is my biggest thing. and i can have the ring sized and ready to go by tueseday! that is so exitin for me, the manager is doin me a huge favor! i am hopin he wont be too mad lol he doesn't want me to buy him a new one becuase of the money and whatever, but i think its gonna be great! alright i have been shoppin all day with my mom and i am really tired! i'll talk to you all later!

I have had such a big week & weekend I don't even know where to start. There is WAY too much to put in one post so I will fill you in on the most important. Well at the beginning of the week I had to get my 17yr old cat put down, which was hard because he was a pressie from my dad who pa__sed away when I was 12. Then mid-week my mother was diagnosed with a Chronic Lung Disease (COPD), & the worst bit is that this is usually something that only smokers get, & she has NEVER even tried a cigarette her whole life. The doctor said it will never get better, but can be managed with lifestyle change. Turns out it has been caused by how bad she has let her house get, & breathing in sooooo much dust & cat hair & having mice running rampant for years has damaged her lungs (it has slowly gotten worse since dad died 15yrs ago, & no the cats are not good mousers). Not to mention she keeps the house closed up 90% of the time so the cats can't get out. So Saturday my sister & I spent all day trying to clean up the place (don't worry we wore dust masks & gloves), but we ended up SO p__sed off at her because she insisted on going through everything we were throwing out (she is a chronic hoarder, to the point of keeping empty loo rolls). We even moved around the furniture so we could get to the all the mouse poo. I ended up yelling at her & making her cry (I felt bad later), but I was getting such bad BH's from working non-stop & moving furniture that I couldn't help it, espesially since she kept insisting on us not throwing out all the c___p. What's worse is that we were only able to get 1 room properly cleaned, & even though we managed to throw out HEAPS, I bet she'll find a way to fill it again (which means more dust & more mice). Sorry for the rant at the end there, I am just so frustrated at how limited I am to help her at the moment (especially since I will have a new baby in 7wks & haven't finished preparing). I honestly don't know what to do, we gave up years ago trying to stop her messy ways, but now that her health is involved I feel we have to do something or she will die. But the most frustrating part is, even after the doctor told her how serious this will get if she doesn't change, it hasn't seemed to have sunk in enough for her to do anything about it. Any ideas on what I'm supposed to do???

Kimmer23 - November 19

Hey girls! E - sorry to hear about your tough weekend. I don't know if I have great advice. She really has to come to terms that she is sick before she will probably checnge her ways for the better. I give you and your sister props for even attempting to clean up everything. Maybe you can get her out of the house for a while and make another attempt? As for your cat, I'm so sorry - I have 2 dogs and a cat, and I couldn't imagine losing any of them - I love them sooo much! My one pup is actually at the vet right now - she may have a UTI or a bladder stone, so they needed to keep her to run some tests...it killed me to leave her there when I knew she was scared. It's made me start to wonder how I'll be with my new baby ;) How is everyone doing? I'm feeling pretty good still...almost 32 weeks. I'm just getting more and more anxious, especially now that I've had two showers and I have a lot of baby stuff around the house now. Talk to you later. Take care :)

bbdreams - November 19

Hey ladies - how is everyone? I'm very excited, my shower is on Sunday! Yay I can't wait! Although I'm getting nervous that people won't show up or that they won't get things from my registry(I obsessively check it to see if things have been bought yet lol). I mean I don't want to sound horrible - I'll be thrilled with any gifts BUT the stuff on the registry is things that I really need. If no one buys them then I will be spending a ton of money I don't have on them. Oh well - maybe people are waiting till the last minute lol!

cyndilea1973 - November 19

How is everyone else faring about 2 months out (give or take)? E--I too am sorry you are having such a tough time. I hope the next couple months smooth out for you! YAY for everyone who pa__sed their GD tests and YAY on the upcoming showers. I failed my 3 hr glucose test BOO and started on the diabetic "meal plan", not diet, MOnday with a blood meter and poking my fingers every 4 hrs. Funny thing, is my blood readings have all been normal, even low at times. I think that if I ate normally and just had a sugary treat here and there I would be OK. I have to go back to doc on Tues for them to review my results, I hope they realize that I do not need to be watching every item I consume, it is SO terrible to not enjoy thelast little bit of this pg. I felt really good until this diet, I mean "mealplan" started, now I feel like I am dragging all the time. Sorry for venting, but just needed to get it out! I had an u/s also on Monday and my big boy was weighing in at 4 lb s 11 oz! I hadn't gained any wieght this time around, it all went to baby...LOL. I have noticed some more clearish discharge the past couple days (sorry if TMI), didn't know if anyone else had this happening to them? Take care lovelies+++Cyndi+++

E586467 - November 20

Thanks for the support ladies. Well after sitting her down during this week & explaining some hard facts about her condition, I think it finally sunk in that she will die if she doesn't change some things (I think the guilt trip about not being around to see the grandkids helped too). She has agreed that the place is just too big for her to manage by herself & has finally agreed to let a realestate agent do a valuation on Sunday. Deep down she knows she needs to chuck or sell ALOT of stuff for it to be possible to move, so hopefully this will make things easier for my sister & I to help clean up the place. Cyndilea sorry to hear you didn't pa__s your 3hr test, & I hope that the diet 'meal plan' (lol) doesn't take all the joy out of the last months for you, but on the bright side sounds like he's doing great. Oh & I too have had an increase in discharge, from what I can remember the same thing happened the last 2 pregnancies, so I would say it's normal.

austynsmommy - November 20

Good morning ladies. E586467 I'm sorry about your mom. I hope things get better before you have you baby. I'm feeling pretty good still. I'm 33 weeks. I go back to the doctor on monday. I have had more discharge lately also. I had it worse with my other two. It's not as bad this time around though. I have been so emotional lately and it's driving me crazy. Well that's it for now. Have a great day ladies. Amanda
