Good morning ladies. E586467 I'm sorry about your mom. I hope things get better before you have you baby. I'm feeling pretty good still. I'm 33 weeks. I go back to the doctor on monday. I have had more discharge lately also. I had it worse with my other two. It's not as bad this time around though. I have been so emotional lately and it's driving me crazy. Well that's it for now. Have a great day ladies.

Hello ladies!! Well this week for me has gone really really well. My husband and I got remarried, and it went so perfectly!!! I finally got him the wedding band i wanted to get him forever, so i am happy about that too. Sorry to hear about everyones troubles, hope everything starts goin better!! I have 6 weeks until i deliver my baby! yay!!! I have another dr appt on monday :( i am starting to dread them because the closer i get to having my baby the harder it gets for me to sit in those uncomfortable waiting room chairs for about an hour before being seen. my back has been giving me hell tho this whole last trimester. ok anyone else find it odd that we can lie on heating pads when pregnant but can't use electric blankets?? oh well i stay warm enough with just my t-shirt on and no blankets at all. heater off and ceiling fan on lol. i am 32 weeks today, and i am exited about that my baby weighs about three and a half pounds, so thats good. my hubby and i bought 2oz bottles today, they are sooo cute. i love them. and we got some more socks, and these are all newborn. he had to open the bottles and the socks as soon as we got them home and obsess about how small the socks were and how he couldn't believe that the bottles were so small and that's not enough for the baby to eat, that it will starve and he obsesses about how small the pampers are the we bought (we got a sample newborn pamper in the mail) he is just almost too exited for his own good lol. but i am glad that he is enjoying my pregnancy now like he is because earlier on he didn't want to touch my belly or anything. so this is good. he is ready for the baby to be born he says, but when i have the baby i know he's gonna want to put it right back in to stop the late nights lol. well I hope everyone has a good thanksgiving. i have to finish my cleaning before i go to get him from work. i thought being a housewife was supposed to be a little easier than a full time job, no not so much, keeping it constantly clean, cooking all evening to have dinner on the table at eleven when my prison gaurd gets off work. going to get him, and bringing him home. ugh its exhausting lol. His car hopefully will be fixed soon. he is orignally from greensburg and i am sure you all know what happened there last year, well his car this week the day before our wedding got broken into, about two thousand dollars worth of damage done to it, the pa__senger side window broken out with a crow bar, and his sterio stolen. the thing that is most upsetting about the robbery is that the sterio was a graduation gift that he got, and it was the only thing that he got that survived the tornad0. he was in the graduating cla__s of 2007. that kinda sucks, but life goes on right. hopefully we find the system, but i doubt we will. all the cops said was check pawn shops..well ladies have a good night, i am going to get ready to figure out what i need from the store and cook some dinner. Happy thanksgiving all!!!!!

Well, we got some upsetting news today. I went to the doctor, and as he was listening to baby's heartbeat, he detected an arrhythmia. Basically, his heart skips about every 4th or 5th beat. He pretty much whisked me off the table and put me on a fetal heart monitor for an hour. He said that baby seems to be tolerating it ok. They did an ultrasound on his heart and said that, structurally, it's fine. He said a lot of times, these will go away after baby is born, but we can't be sure. So, now I have to go in every week for a non-stress test to make sure he is still ok, and I have to do kick counts every day. I'm kind of freaking out a bit. I just have soooo much on my plate right now, and this stressor is not going to help any.

I'm sorry mcbee about your babies heart. I hope everything turns out fine. How long have you been married misscrotts? Me and my hubby want to renew our vows. We got married 6 weeks after I had my son and I was overweight and looked awful. We are planning on next november to do it. Have a great weekend everyone.

Mcbee--I am sorry that you received such news. I can understand that you are freaking out because I know how I feel everytime I get an u/s (every 4 weeks) the tech hones in on the heart for like 10 minutes or so and I always burst out "is there something wrong?" and they always tell me no, but if they told there was something wrong, I would just totally lose it. My prayers will be with you and I am sure that they will be watching you and baby closely until birth. I think I have seen babies born with the same condition on Babies-Special Delivery and it seems like something that corrects itself after birth. ((hugs)) Misscrotts--Congrats on the re-wedding! Your hubby sounds so cute with his marveling over the teeny tiny socks and bottles. As for me, still dealing with this gestational diabetes diet thing. I have been adding different things here and there (taco bell for lunch..in limited quant_ties and ice cream before bed) andhave found that even with these goodies my blood sugar is normal, so I am thinking that my doc is just being overly cautious and that I just don't react well to that nasty sugar drink. Oh well, I see my doc on Tuesday and I will be sure to moan and groan to him about it. maybe they will ease up on my food restrictions? I get to have the stress test on Tuesday and see how I am measuring..everyone around me still tease me daily about my size and I always think, why do you feel the need to be amazed at me growing girth EVERY DAY, I mean it really is getting old. even the lady at the 7-11 yesterday said, you must be due anytime and I tersely replied "I still have 8 weeks". I can't believe my little man already weighs 5 lbs...he is going to be a b___terball! Thanks for the replies on the increased discharge, I always worry about everything. Have a great weekend+++Cyndi+++

misscrotts congrats on getting re-married, I'm glad everything turned out so wonderful.
mcbee I am really sorry to hear your baby has heart problems, I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress too much. If it makes you feel better I was born with 2 holes in my heart & that was 27yrs ago, which they were able to fix (completely by age 10) . I still have a very slight irregularity in the beat (murmur), but after a recent ECG the doctor said my heart is in better health than most people these days which as you can imagine made me feel great. I really hope your baby's heart fixes itself like the doctor indicated that it might, but remember It is absolutely amazing what doctors can do these days & often they don't need to wait or be as invasive (like me having open heart surgery at 10) to do what needs to be done to fix the problem.

Hi everyone. misscrotts - congrats on getting remarried - that is really exciting! mcbee - so sorry to hear about your little one and the heart murmur. Try to hang in there. Your doc knows what he is doing, and I'm sure they will take the best care of you and your little one :) cyndi - good luck tomorrow getting your doc to remove a few of your dietary restrictions...I'm sure that is really tough to stick to a "mealplan" like that. I'm doing well. I'm 32.5 weeks. I'm getting more and more excited, but also more and more nervous about L&D. How is everyone else? ANy experiences to calm me about labor would be great ;) Well, take care girls!

Hey ladies - how is every one this morning? I have a question, or possibly just a mini vent lol. One of my good friends apparently doesn't like the name I have chosen for my baby. She insists it isn't good and even says things like 'I'll come up with something better' -0 as though I'd actually change it just because she doesn't like it! It's really starting to annoy me. It's my choice, not hers...so why does she think that she has a say in it? Has anyone else encountered friends who throw their opinions at you with no regard for your feelings??

mrsvalenti - I'm due the same day - 1/16!! bbdreams - I would be really upset if a friend of mine was saying that...it's SOOOO rude!! Even if they don't like it, they should never say that. I don't really like the name my sis-in-law picked-out for their little one that is also due in Jan. But, I would never tell tham that... It's not my decision. What is the name anyway?

The name is Kyra(pronounced Key-rah). I love it - and I'm shocked that she would tell me she hates it! Some of my other friends made comments once she said that too(oh it's hard to pronouce etc). Grrr! I didn't like the name my best friend gave her first son but I NEVER said anything!!!

I think it's dumb that some people make fun of other people's names chosen for their kids. Every name is different and special for different reasons. :)
We're naming our daughter Maya Fox...Maya just cuz we like it and Fox is my mom's maiden name and brother's middle name...but people think that's just weird. :P Oh well, I don't really care. I think she will like her name, and that's what counts! :)

I went through the name thing with my dd & ds & was SO p__sed off that people just couldn't mind their own business. I mean why ask if your just going to make some rude comment anyway? One thing I have noticed is that once you have a baby & tell people his/her name they don't seem to care or make comments, I think people just can't help but tell you their opinions while your pregnant.
With this one we decided from the beginning that NO-ONE will know the name choice until the baby is born. That way we don't have to go through all the c___p of everyone telling us if they like it or not.

I agree about the name thing. If I ask your opinion, then I'm wanting an honest answer, but if you are just asking about the name I've chosen, don't chime in with your opinion. Even if you think it's terrible, tell me that you like it. The fact is, you can pretty much tell if people are being sincere when they tell you that they like the name. Even if I can tell they're lying, and they hate the name, I appreciate them trying to be polite and saying that it's cute.
