Hello ladies. I am also a July mommy. And I have popped in and kinda been following along with you off and on :) I was wondering if anyone is due later this month? I am 07-31-08 with my 2nd little girl. Congratz to all those who recently met their LO's and to those who are close!

Hey guys, meant to post earlier but I broke my keyboard's spacebar trying to clean it so the rest of the day with work was nutty. Jessie went to pick up a new one for me and it wasn' fully compatible so he fixed my old one and now I can finally type. It's been a long long long day....so glad tomorrow is my last day of work for at least a month. :)

How is everyone doing today? Same here...up early but couldn't sleep later. I'm excited today is my last day of work before my leave!!!! yaaayyy! Lots of stuff going on this weekend so I should be occupied a lot through Sunday. Monday is going to draaaag I promise, but that's ok. Just counting the days now (or hours, lol).

Hey mom_of_1, I have not posted that much either. I am due July 28th. I see my OB on Monday when I will be 37 weeks. Hopefully he will be able to see if my baby has dropped down. I feel so much pressure in my peivic area. Congrats to all the new July mommies!!! How is everyone else feeling today?

Morning .. i am up early as well.. my SIL is having her baby today. So now it comes down to just me.. still waiting.. but i've come to a point where im just going to relax it off.. it's been better that way. i have 6 days left!!

Julia, you know what's funny is people keep telling me that when you relax is when it happens. That if you are tense and anxious there is something in your body that like tells itself "now is not a good time for the baby to come"...don't know how scientific that is, ha ha! But, I figure I'm going to try and relax and have fun the next few days too and who knows what can happen? :) As long as Ava is moving around and all I feel ok. I have a non-stress test at the hospital tomorrow morning then do my last blood thinner shot on Sunday. I'm kind of nervous to not be doing one on Monday but that is dr's orders. Wow, can't believe it's almost here....

I kinda believe that because ever since i took that long nap n told my self to relax and not worry i havent had much pain i didn't have contractions yesterday and i have no pain today so i guess i should have relax a long time ago.. lol i probably would of had her by then.. but its okay i learn my leason..

I have family coming today so I hope that the distraction will relax me. Just sitting here on the computer and reading books is not helping the time go faster.

So i went to the doctors this morning i am only dilated 1 1/2 but in my past 2 pregnancies i never dilated until i was the day or day before i was going to have them. So my doctor thinks i will have Alyssa this weekend... I hope soo. If not my next appt is Tuesday and they will give me a induce day!!!

Last night i was having crazy lower back pains. I was thinking something was going to happen but after awhile they faded away. :( Maybe that was a start. Maybe thats what made me dilate a little

Glad to hear you all are trying to relax. I am too, but I wish there was a way to tell if I was making any more progress. My next appointment isn't until next thursday. Many of you know that I'm due July 13. Well as of this past tuesday, I was 50% effaced and 0 CM dilated. So I've been thinking about what may induce labor safely, you know? On a side note, I've been turned on often lately, so I figured I would try to kill two birds with one stone, and have as many orgasms as I can between now and my due date. My husband keeps asking me things like, "Are you just wanting to make love so much in order to induce labor?" or " I didn't think you would be in the mood so much since you are so far along." Now part of this is true, but I really have been feeling frisky at times. I don't want to tell him that the orgasms have been part of a plan because I don't know how he would take that. He seems like he would think I've been using him to try and start this process, but that's only alitte bit true. Do you think his feelings would be hurt? Should I just keep making him think that I am completely into the whole s_x experience right now, and it has nothing to do with contractions?

Constance, that cracks me up because Jessie was the same way with me. I refused s_x the whole pregnancy because I was high risk and was too chicken to do it. Then last week or so I decided to try it in case it could help me dilate. I told him I wanted to have s_x and he was like "how romantic, lol" and I was like what's the problem??? He said he felt I was just wanting to start labor and I said "HELL Yeah, I am!!!" I love him dearly and do want to be intimate, but s_x at 39 weeks pregnant is not exactly the most comfortable, erotic or fun thing to do. He understood that, we had a good laugh, and then did the deed --awkwardly. I just figured I'd be honest and not let him know up front that we were on a mission together... :) Granted, we haven't tried it since because I think he was turned off by my wincing and look of pain on my face, LOL!

STEF, LOLS about the keyboard -- so something I would do, hahaha. We've tried s_x -- but it's so uncomfortable and almost makes me cry from pain, so no more of that. DH is lucky he got it the whole pregnancy, hahah. But this morning I was standing and all of a sudden felt this huge amount of discharge come out, then ran to the bathroom and there was this wetness with a big blob of stuff and pink blood streaks in it. It's been 3 days since my membrane sweep, so I would think by now the blood would be brown, but it was pink, so that makes me think that it was my bloody show. I've already had this happen twice though...so probably no baby for me just yet. Crossing my fingers, lol.
