Hi everyone! Congrats on your test KOLLEEN! Way to go, I can tell how happy you are, that's so gr8! Hi STEF, glad to see you were able to get your pc fixed, both for your business but also so you can keep talking with us, lol! TINA - take it easy, don't make us worry! Have to hear about this pirate adventure, it sounds like a blast, my boys would LOVE something like that! We are going to a cookout tomorrow, first one of the season, it's a little early, but we can't wait for the summer to be here! Oh, yeah, btw, it's official. I can no longer do my own pedicures! I tried and it was a disaster. I am going to have to go to the salon bc my dh said there is no way in h*ll he is going near anybody's feet, lol. HEATHER - where are you, I was hoping to hear from you and see how everything was going. Keeping you in my thoughts and hope all is well. Take care all, "see" you all here on Monday!

TINA, sounds like you are having a blast! Take it easy though and don't push yourself :) AMY, omg that is hilarious because the same thing happened here. I was grunting and stuff trying to do my toenails (sandal weather!!!) and I asked jessie to do it and got the big "uh-uh"....he's like I love you, but I can't do feet, lol! Ok, so that just totally cracked me up as I'm not alone on that....

cors1wfe - April 5

Really quick - cute cute cute pic STEF!!!! It was a blast I feel WAY better and AMY Heather doesn't have internet on the weekends usually only from work....that's why we don't hear from her or won't if she goes on bed rest so we all gotta be positive for her! I'll give all the details tomorrow night!

Good Morning Everyone! It sounds like the weekend has been good to all of you! I am starting to miss you guys more & more when I can't chat :( Congrats on the great test score Kolleen, that should be lots of encouragement for you! Amy - That is sooo funny bout the pedicure, I think we all must've tried to do our nails this weekend - mine didn't get done either! I guess I'm lucky though - Tom said he would do it for me, now I just have to get him to do it! I've been wearing my "granny socks" alot, so not much time for flip-flops. (and I'm not even going there with socks & sandals). lol. BTW - I wanted to ask you how early your 2nd son was born?- if you don't mind. Tina, I hope your spotting has stopped - I'm sure it was from the s_x though, I had quite an adventure with that one already. Can't wait to hear how the pirate dinner went, that is so cool! Your boys will never forget weekends like that :) Stef, I gotta check out your pix soon - you have that cute lil' round belly. Tell Jessie to suck it up and just paint your d__n toenails!!! lmao. Julia, I hope you got feeling better this weekend - let us know how you are.

I almost forgot, I go back to the dr. today to find out about the test results. I'm kinda nervous, but I figure if they have to do something drastic then it is for me & baby's health. I did get a bp monitor for home & saturday it was kinda high like 145/88 & 150/90 then Sunday it did go down to around 132/84 - after I layed on the couch for a couple hours. I guess it goes to show you that laying around does the trick. I'll check in with everyone when I get back today - wish us luck.

ladies guess what/ i painted the room finally (we got that done) now we have to go purchase the boarder put that up; then put the sports stickers on the wall & we are putting new flooring in his room (not sure what yet?) and then his crib will be here to get ready for his little self. = ] im so excited

Hi! LOL I think that is so funny everyone, about the toenails! I remember with my first baby, I was at home when my water broke. Of all the things that went thru my mind, I actually had time to think about and be embarra__sed about the fact that I hadn't shaved my legs in a couple days, (okay a lot of days!) and my toes were NOT freshly painted, kind of grungy looking in fact. True, it was October, and I could barely reach my legs to shave them or my toes to paint them, but I wanted to take a shower before we went to the hospital so that I could at least shave my legs before we left! My dh just looked at me like I was crazy and put me in the car. Obviously, much more important things occupied me for the next 4 hours! Anyway, thanks for the heads up on Heather, TINA. Can't wait to hear all about your weekend! KENDRA - how exciting about your nursery room, I hope we can see pics wehn you are all done. I hope to get more done, I have been spring cleaning, but hope to concentrate on the baby's stuff soon. HEATHER! So happy to hear from you! Hope you can rest as much as possible, it does help with your bp so much. Hope everything goes well at your doctor's appt. Noah was born May 18th, 2004, and he was actually due July 21st, so he was 9 weeks early. My water broke on April 29th, (I was 28 weeks) in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I woke up, knew right away what had happened, and we went to the hospital. I was lucky, and did not go into labor and didn't need any intervention to stop contractions or anything, I got antibiotics, steriods to mature the baby's lungs, ultrasounds, NST, strict hospital bedrest, a catheter, monitors for hb & contractions, for 10 days. I also drank TONS of water to help replenish my fluid levels and amniotic fluid, which is constantly regenerated, and a nutritionist planned my meals so that I could get optimum nutrients to help the baby put on weight quickly. I was on expectant management, in other words, as long as baby was doing fine and I wasn't going into labor, they were going to keep me like that until 35 weeks at which point they would induce. (Infection is always the worry after your water breaks, but keeping the baby inside while mom & baby were still fine outweighed the risk is what me, doc, and consulting specialists felt was worth it and what we planned to do as time went by and I didn't show signs of labor.) They then moved me to the recovering mom side of L&D, to free up the delivery room I was in. One night a couple weeks later I just started having contractions and had Noah naturally 6 hours later. He was very sick, and was transferred a few hours after birth via helicopter to Hershey Medical Center to their higher level NICU. He was there for 5 weeks, then transferred back to our hospitals NICU for another 5 weeks, and then he finally was able to come home. It's ironic, this baby is due July 19th, almost the exact same original due date as Noah's.

Hello Ladies... I dont have a computer on the weekends so i only get on here during the week.. I hope all of you are doing good.. PEPPER i am naming my daughter Alyssa Rose... I have not even started on the big baby things.. Only have bought like clothes, blankets, diapers. I think i will start next month. I am starting to feel real heavy.. From me not being small to begin with and now having gained weight from baby i just feel so heavy... Like i get pains in my upper legs and pelvic area. Not bad only when i need to walk more than usual and get up from like the bed or if im sitting on the floor. Are any of you feelin glike this???

stefkay - April 7

hi girls, hillary I feel like that a lot! I love wearing flip flops and now that it is warm I've gotten them all out and noticed that if I have to walk much at all in them like at the grocery store or something it hurts my feet so much because I feel like there is so much weight coming down each time I take a step. Like "here comes godzilla..." LOL! Sometimes I even hold under my belly because it feels like it is pulling down a lot. I can't imagine what it will be like when I get a few more weeks further along! We are going on a mini vacay in about a week and a half and the town we will be in has lots of shops and stuff, but it is tons of walking and LOTS of hills. I'm starting to think it's gonna be a lot of whining from me, ha ha ;) I hope the weather is nice though and that there is a trolley or something. KENDRA, way to go on getting the room painted! I still wish so badly that we could paint our walls and have a whole nursery going on here. I'm going to make it up to her though when we do move as she'll be a toddler then and I'll go all out on it. I LOVE decorating!

stefkay - April 7

Hey tina, I forgot to ask where you're at girl!? Check in....I see you didn't post yesterday and you know how I worry! Hope the spotting is gone and you took it easy :)

Crystal_Little - April 7

Wow... you ladies post alot during the weekend. I too use the computer at owrk more than at home. When I am at home I am very busy or my hubby is on there. CONGRATS Kolleen on your test! That is great! How is everyone feeling today? It is Monday so I am extremely tired. Jordan had a bad night last night so we were up a lot. Then my work tells me that I have to be in at 6:30 rather than 7:30. That means that I have to get up an hour earlier than normal so i can shower and get jordan to daycare. My daycare doesnt open until 7 so it was a horrible morning.

Hello again guys - Well, I'm back from the doc and guess what? Bedrest. I am so depressed right now I don't know what to say. My BP was even higher today than last week, so that means I need to stay still as much as possible. I can't f***ing believe this - I am really worried, but do realize that this is for the best. I am getting internet hooked up at home now - if I don't I'll go crazy - and doc says that bedrest is considered disability, so I will still get a paycheck every week.- Thank God! On a good note: the baby is growing perfectly and everything else is looking okay. They will induce me before July 4th, preferbly at 38-39 weeks, but if my BP continues to go up they will do c-section as soon as baby's lungs are okay. Amy - You had a hell of a time with your son - Thank God he & you made it through all that. I can only imagine that it would be the scariest feeling to see your baby in the NICU. Thanks for sharing your story, it does make me hopeful for a good outcome :0) BTW - you know I'd be worried about all the hair too, it can't be a pretty site as it is, let alone to have bushes everywhere!!! LMAO!

QueenBeeMama - April 7

HEATHER-I suspected strongly this was going to end up happening. I'm sorry, because I know first hand what it's like, but trust me, it is sooooo worth it. I'll post more later, have to run. I have an ob appt this afternoon as well, so I'll check back in this evening. I'm getting an u/s and check of cervical length. See you all later! PS - Where is TINA? Hope she's all right, haven't heard from her on here for a couple days, that's not like her. I'll shoot her an email and let you all know if she responds. Bye!
