HEATHER-I suspected strongly this was going to end up happening. I'm sorry, because I know first hand what it's like, but trust me, it is sooooo worth it. I'll post more later, have to run. Hello ladies! - sorry to get you all worried!! I was so beat when I got home I wasn't up for posting about our weekend then I get to work and it's crazy....ok so - Friday morning started off great - we picked up my parents and headed to the best bagel shop in the west...LOL then we checked into our hotel and headed to Knott's Berry Farm - it was almost EMPTY - my boys got on and off every ride they wanted to and sometimes they didn't have to get off because no one was waiting...I was bummed not to ride with them but even the kiddie rides said no preggos.....we all had a blast - too much walking for me though by the time we got back to the room I noticed the spotting and just put my feet up and we watched some movies - the bed was too soft and my back was killing me - but I had zero contractions not even braxton hicks so I knew it was either the s_x or walking that brought on the spotting....something made me very nauseous all day Saturday I just laid around while my folks and Cor took the boys to the pool for a bit - then we headed off to the Pirate Dinner adventure - they had tons of appetizers to eat while you waited I ate some celery and had some ginger ale and that really helped! It was great - to feel better after feeling yucky all day - the boys were completely mesmerized for the whole show.....I'll post some pics on piczo/myspace. We got up Sunday went out for a great big country breakfast which I needed after hardly eating Saturday.....then we got home about 300pm unpacked and just rested it was great - I had some grilled cheese and the boys played with all the cool stuff grammy and poppy bought them - and our dogs were so happy to see us....we watched John Adams on HBO and then headed upstairs to take a bath and talk in bed - my own sweet comfortable bed - I even got a ma__sage since I did all the driving all weekend...hotel beds are awful - unless you are at a courtyard by marriott or something....AWFUL!!! my shoulder blades burned all night plus I have a special pillow but I never take it cuz I think I'll forget it..LOL - so sorry it took me so long to post but I should be back to normal - now I am going to read everyone's posts and respond - AMY thanks for checking on me girl!

PEPPER - I have another u/s today to confirm that my little girl is indeed a girl - we plan to name her Megan Vaughn - AMY/HEATHER/STEF - you girls are nuts I can barely wipe my a__s without falling off the toilet I am not about to try to paint my toes! LMAO...Heather honey we will be here for you when you go on leave and I have a site I can access most instant messengers if you have yahoo account - I never got the picture email?? KENDRA - how are things with Strad? I am so jealous but not that you painted but that you have the desire to paint I have no desire to paint! NO THANKS.....CRYSTAL - that sucks about your job/daycare - like being a working mother isn't enough it's like gee let's make her super stressed - don't worry though it will all workout! Kolleen - that's awesome about your test! I know we are all proud of you - I think I would much rather come to work plus I HAVE to - school is too easy for me to ditch LOL....jk.....so KOLLEEN - after you are done with these cla__ses you will be able to do medical billing from home? I am thinking of finding something to do from home so I can pursue some real estate opportunities - right now I only need to clear about 300 a week which would eliminate the need to work outside of the home.....so any insight would be great......JULIA how are you feeling honey? STEF we spent the weekend in the Anaheim/Buena Park area by where Disneyland is.....about 65 miles from home - not far and there was a hospital like 2 miles from our hotel....I scoped it all out when we drove to the hotel

HEATHER- im sorry to hear that u got put on bedrest. but yes it is for the best. hopefully u have plenty of things to keep u occupied. u have us here with u. well i went to do the icky test today. its a good thing i didnt have cla__s cuz that stuff totally upset my tummy. i came home and went back to bed. boy am really tired lately. lylee is so active at night. she is starting to keep me up already. she has found comfort under my right rib. well its not very comfy for me. but hey only a couple of weeks left right? i have decided to try to rearrange my room to be able to fit the crib in there. i really want her to sleep in a crib but if i cant fit it in there then i guess ill buy a ba__senett. we will see. well im off to eat some rocky road icw cream. YUMMY!!! ill check in later

Hi all! Tina, good to hear from you! Crystal, your day sounds just like mine...I'm just trying to hang in there till tomorrow and hope it is better :) HEATHER, I am so so sososososososo sorry about the bedrest :(( double ugh on that. You have to take it easy though and I know you know that...get you some internet connection, cable, books and a bunch of magazines along with the phone and you are good to go! You are in the safe zone already for viability although it is still on the early end. I believe you are going to be beating us to the finish line here though, huh? :) KOLLEEN, did you do the glucose test today? I hear ya on the active little ones...Ava is going nuts at night and midday. She's quiet now, but was pingponging or something in there earlier! I love it though! I have heard other mom's talk about their baby going under one rib or the other and I haven't experienced that. Not sure how it feels, but I wonder if it is because I have a longer torso and I'm carrying low? I've never felt a kick to the rib yet and am pretty sure I'd know if it happened, wouldn't i? well, gonna lie down for a bit before I go out for dinner with a friend. later...

STEF- trust me on this one. when ur baby is in ur rib or kicks u in one of them u will know!!!! i have a question about the glucose test. what is it, what does it effect and why do we take it, and why do we take it so late in the pregnancy? ok so i guess that was 4 questions. i would ask my dr but he does not give me alot of time and im really curoius about it. yeah i took mine today. i dont even know when i found out the results or if i do. and what will it show. is it something i would feel like being sick or maybe thats y im so tired lately. no i thinkk thats the iron test huh? so can u guys give me some answers on this?

TINA- as far as doing what i go to school for at home, i think that afeter u have built up a repore with an office or a dr u could do it from home. mostly private practice offices do that. (im going to do dental) but it would take a while for that to happen. u may be able to look up jobs from home on the internet. i would. i mean anything is possibe. u may find that a dr has advertised on the internet that they need someone. its worth looking into.

OK girls - my Megan is in fact a.......MEGAN!!! woo hoo I can relax now - I am so happy and relieved I guess after 2 boys it was so hard to believe that I am having a girl this time! KOLLEEN thanks for the info I'll check it out....

TINA- im so happy to hear that ur havng a girl forsure. i have one question. how did u get another u/s? i keep hearing that enless there is a problem i wont get another. i really want one. i go back to the dr till april 17 and i hope that maybe he will say he wants to do one to check and see how big she is. that would be cool

KOLLEEN - it really depends on the doctor - he normally does 2 - one at about 16-18 weeks to have a look and determine due date and another one at about 2 weeks to check anatomy and such....BUT the big determining factor is INSURANCE and how many they will allow without complications.....with my first son Tristan I did not have another u/s after 22 weeks because that was my second one from a specialist to determine whether or not he had down syndrome.....my doctor did also say that IF it was necessary to determine size like if all of a sudden I started measuring so big he get concerned about a bigger baby then I could have another one....so it really depends on the doctor - but with my first there was no 4d stuff or anything I know that doesn't help much but I thought I'd try a little

For you gals who pray and have faith please pray for me - the reality of my parents leaving is starting to sink in and it's just really bums me out...I know God has a plan it's just hard to see right now....I am having trouble sleeping tonight and my dh is sleeping so peaceful I don't want to wake him.

oh wow, what a morning....I totally slept in till almost 830 and I'm supposed to be up and at em by 8 so I feel just weird and groggy. I didn't sleep well last night and woke at 4:45 and read a magazine till 6am. TINA, I'm sorry you are having to deal with this sadness at all, nonetheless in pregnancy. I know how I'd feel if my family moved further away from me than they are and it would be so so so hard for me. Can you start planning a first visit or something to give you something to look forward to? We're here for you as you go through the transition as I know it will be hard. Well, I think I'm going to eat something and hope to wake up some more, lol...
