PRECIOUS- im not sure what it is. i read the same thread and was wondering the same thing. i dont recall losing mine with my son. but i guess i had to. TINA- im here too. its just that noone is posting. whats really going on?!?

Happy Friday morning! I still have to go back and read...today should be slower after my appt. But, JULIA, the mucous plug is a glob of snot like mucous basically that basically "plugs" the cervix I have a picture of it in my childbirth cla__s book. Some women can start losing it early and it will either regenerate or not. Most lose it within the weeks before birth. It is supposedly looks like a big loogie with pink or red streaked in it (blood). I thought I lost mine back at like 16 weeks, but came to find out Jessie hocked up a loogie in the toilet and there was some blood in it because he hacked it up so hard! It was NOT funny then, but is kind of humorous now, LOL! :)

Ok, quick scan and girls I can relate to all of you with the money problems...It's been getting worse here as we near the birth. I do hope it eases some after the baby comes. I know that sounds dumb, but really I can't even believe how much I'm paying right now for medicines, acupuncture, vitamins, my OB (we have to pre pay her fees) and whatnot. I also only get 2 weeks of paid leave so if I want more time off I have to take it without pay. My goal in the early days was to save for it. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!! WTF? I don't have enough to save right now and even my tax rebate check is going to my mother for money I borrowed, lol :) Ahhhhh....but I know everything works out and always has. I just hope I can get some extra work to give me enough backup money to take at least 2 extra weeks off. I keep wishing my bosses would feel sorry for me and just give me another two weeks, but like I said---WISHFUL thinking ;)

okay ladies (its been awhile) sry. ive been so busy with school & everything its not funny. well okay heres my update. (last friday-sunday i couldnt poop totally constipapted.) well sunday afternoon i started to poop again; but it seems like there is some mucus in my poop(i know tmi sry.) but i was reading on it; & it was talking about how it could be my mucus plug; i don't know. well so since last Sunday ive lost bits and pieces of my plug (i know its my plug i can tell & i just no it.) but as for the last two days as i have peed when i wipe theres a bit of blood (just a little redness on the toilet paper; never any in the toilet; is this something i should be worried about?

Hello everyone! I'm sorry, I've never even put up a current bump picture! I have to do that. I hope everyone is well, I am ok, been taking it really slow and easy the last couple days but it's been hard bc my DH started his new job and is gone in the evenings, 4 days a week. My niece is coming to sleep over tomorrow, she's 15, she'll be here all day so it'll be really helpful to have her here. I have gotten out and started packing my labor bag, and also have gotten bags packed for my boys, just in case, and have been getting things organized around the house. My DH spent the whole day yesterday helping me do stuff that I felt needed to be done, I'm so appreciative. He can be such a great guy sometimes. (Sometimes he's a b___thead, too, but then again, I can also be a "royal" pain in the a__s on occasion myself, lol!)

KENDRA - call you doctor and see what they say just in case - sometimes straining from constipation will cause you to have some blood when you wipe but nonetheless better to be safe than sorry......STEF - girl you are right it will all be ok - I only will get disability pay while I am off since I am only in a temp position...but you know what ???? I can't do anything about it and I am done stressing about it (at least for now LOL) I have been so stressed out lately I know that's why I ended up at L&D with contractions but ....whatever....it's all going to be ok eventually....TGIF - and I mean that in a big way - I am having a garage sale and hopefully my old washer/dryer will bring in some extra much needed cash as I need to buy at least a few pair of capri pants and summer tops...but we'll see ....I am going to see what's on ebay and shop there first! I have my co -sleeper I have my swing and soon I will have my car seat so I am set as far as what I need right now -- my mother in law is on the search for my crib so everything will be here all in good time - and I started washing her clothes and I can't get over all of the stuff I have and I only bought 3 onesies and 2 nightgowns....I feel every blessed!

Yes I got that part what I am saying is that your straining from the weekend probably busted some blood vessels in your cervix that is now making it's way out so call your doctor just to be safe - I am sure you are fine but just see what they say -they may want to check you out

KENDRA, call you doctor for sure...I know I'm the resident worrier, but any spotting, pink , red, brown, whatever needs to be checked out as my doc says. If you know you've been losing your plug AND you have some pink or red when you wipe it's something that seriously needs to be checked. You had Kelsey early didn't you? Normally if so, then it is all the more reason they should look at you. Well, I had my appt. today and did my glucose test (wooohooo!) Doctor said everything looks perfect and bp was good, I've gained 23 lbs and heartbeat was 147. Pee was fine I guess and she said tape measure was 29.5 cm (I'm 30 weeks today)...I do wish I measure ahead though, lol!) I'm never pleased, huh? No really I am ecstatic each time things go well....now I just need baby girl to keep it up for another 10 weeks!!!! Wow :) I also asked about ultrasounds and she said I do get 1 or 2 more thank good ness at around 36 weeks and 38 weeks to check growth and stuff. I will see her every 2 weeks now too which is awesome since I had been going every 5.

Oh! and she told me I shouldn't be sleeping on my back even propped up on pillows!!! I was shocked actually, she said my hips should not be flat on the bed so she showed me I can put a pillow behind me to elevate me a bit, but I'm not actually sleeping on my side (which hurts me). I hope this works because now I can't sleep the ONE way it is comfy.....ack!

STEF - I am so happy that your appointment went well and now you can relax knowing you have at least 1 more u/s and that's so great that everything looks good - you know last time I measured big with my son but he didn't change my due date so I am confused as to why he changed my due date this time???? She is measuring at 31 weeks and I turned 30 weeks just this past Wednesday.....so from July 2nd to June 25th?? I am getting so excited I can't wait! I am going to put my co-sleeper up so I can let it air out and breathe .....Our little ones will be here before we know it - hey how do you think the ladies are posting from the hospital? that's crazy to me I can't access the forum from my phone but it would sure be cool if I could- I'll make sure to post on my induction day/labor day so you guys know that I went to the hospital we all need to have a plan instead of just disappearing and then showing up a few days later - hey guess what I had the baby.....I think those of us who will be induced will be easy to track it's you girls going into labor naturally that we need to have a plan for you....LOL just thinking ahead
