Morning girlies! KENDRA!!! I just read your post on the forum and then here...oh my! Please take it easy and rest yourself as much as possible. I know you can't STOP labor necessarily, but didn't they give you anything to stop it or give you shots to mature Strad's lungs? I'd think they would do that for you? If not I'd beg them for it just so you can feel more safe with delivering early. He will be fine though either way! At this point all of our babies would be small, but would most likely make it. I'm having lots of BH too, some days more than others. Like Saturday I went to a friends daughter's bday party at the a park and was having them like every 10 minutes or so, but they were so sporadic and not painful that I just drank a bunch of water and sat at a picnic table and they went away. Everyone was like "should we take you to the hospital???" I laughed and was like noooooo...I'm the worrier too and wasn't really concerned. I think I'll just "know" when things move in that direction. Hell, I don't know. Last night I got my first dripping nosebleed and totally ruined my pregnancy pillow (which is WHITE). I've had nasal congestion for months now, but now I have both. I've been sitting here all morning with toilet paper shoved up both nostrils. yay! Tien, My name is Stefanie and I am 32 yrs old. Pregnant with my first and it's a baby girl...she is due July 4!

Hello everyone, Hello 4BUZYBEEZ & CHARLIBABE! Welcome! My name is Amy, I'm 31yo expecting baby #3 on July 19th, and I have two boys 8 & almost 4. We don't know what we are having this time. And I am at high-risk for premature labor, but am keeping fingers (and legs!) crossed that that doesn't happen. KENDRA - Oh, honey, I'm so sorry to hear about your scare! What is in our drinking water, guys? I'm glad that they were able to get things under control and get you back home. Isn't it funny how a little thing like a UTI or yeast infection can affect your pregnancy so seriously? Take your prescription and drink lots of water and cranberry juice, UTI's are no joke when you are pregnant, right! Whew, well I hope you can find a way to get off your feet everyday and rest, and keep your little one cooking longer, too. TINA- how great that you had a success with your garage sale, I've never held one, I always think no one will show up and I'll be stuck at the end of the day with all my stuff, lol! And don't even get me started on maternity clothes! I have outgrown my 2 pairs of jeans, and have been wearing 2 maternity jean skirts that I have since the weather is nicer, with flip-flops and regular t-shirts a couple sizes bigger. But I'm already sick of the same thing everyday! I will break down I guess and get some capri's or some loose cotton skirts or something and some more t-shirts and that should hold me over as well as during the postpartum period. But you know what I am having the worst time with? Finding cute, comfortable pj's! I am going to look on-line at Old Navy & Target today to see what I can find, because all the stuff I was wearing over the winter and early spring is too hot to sleep in now. STEF - Ugh, yucky nosebleeds. I've been pretty lucky, I haven't had that particular symptom, but I hear it can be pretty common. Of course it HAD to happen on your white pillow, right! Glad to hear you are doing well and are handling those BH's like a pro! KOLLEEN - I can't wait for that stimulus check to come, right now I cannot afford to be picky, we really need the extra money. PRECIOUS, LUCKY, CRYSTAL - How are you guys, what's new? HEATHER - Hope you and NEVIN & TOM are doing well, we are all very concerned that we haven't heard from you and I want to let you know you are in our thoughts & prayers. We are here for you if you get a chance to check in! Oh, I was thinking about something to tell you first-time mommies - when you are in the hospital, "borrow" (cough, ahem) some of the big, cloth pads that they will put under your bum in bed after labor. They are great to sleep on when your milk first comes in and you don't want to soak your own mattress & sheets, when you get the sweats after delivery and you lose your water weight, for when your baby might have diarrhea or is sick, etc. They are very handy, much larger than the "sheet savers" and mattress pads that you can buy for the baby's crib and can handle repeated washings even with bleach. Seriously, I wish I could buy them at the store! I got some after I had both of my boys and they were very, very useful. Today both of my boys are in school and I will just be resting at home, my DH is off for the next two days so we want to basically do voluntary bedrest for the next two days, the more I do that the better chances I have of not allowing my cervix to shrink anymore. My little one has been rolling and squirming all around, and I am really happy to feel so much good activity! BTW, we have narrowed down our name choices, I thought I would share with you all. If it's a boy - Luke Edward & if it's a girl either Ella Grace or Gianna Grace. (Edward is for my father, and Grace is for my DH's mother.) Funny story about the choice of Luke for a boy, my 8yo picked it out, he loves Star Wars & Luke Skywalker, and one day he heard me & DH discussing names & asked what we thought of Luke? I don't know who was more surprised that we really, really liked it, him or us! LOL!

Kendra, yes that is what I heard about if you have one baby preterm you most likely will have all that way...I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this at the end :( Everything will be fine though and it's good the dr's are taking such good care of you! AMY take it easy girl and let everyone take care of YOU (that goes to Kendra too, lol!) What if we all become June mommies, lol?! oh my....as for maternity clothes, I am at a total loss for spring summer stuff as well...I thought I had so many maternity items until I realized this weekend that most of it is all winter stuff. I bought some jeans at a consignment shop and cut them off to make capris but am not sure how much I like them right now. I need to hit up Target or something for some shirts though. I thought I'd want all these cute little summer maternity tanks and stuff but all I want each day is a comfy tshirt and drawstring pants :) I want shorts, but my knees have TOTALLY transformed on me into cottage cheese....ugh. Like my knees got a freakin fat roll! I think all my weight gain has been from belly to knees with most of it in my thighs. I so hoped that would not happen, but it looks like I'm going to end up with my mom's figure after all....lol

I can't wait......I am going to have another garage sale in a week or 2.....so we'll see I have a bunch of stuff to get rid of still.....I haven't been in those boxes for over a year so it's time to get rid of it I haven't even missed it - oh I was so bummed I opened my co sleeper and the liner is missing! kendra.marie - April 28

hey ladies. okay so im better as of right now; ive had 10 contractions since i left hospital & thats it. so thats very very good. im at ease alot i think positive & try not to worry about labor agian until at least 36 weeks right?

cors1wfe - April 28

KENDRA - that is right girl - keep being positive and just watch those contractions to make sure they don't sneak up on you and pound the water and cranberry juice like crazy! We are here for you - 36 weeks is way better than 30 weeks hugs Tina

stefkay - April 28

Yes! WATER! You need well above the regular 64 oz per day though. I drink bottled water so it is much easier to drinka lot of water that way. I stock up on cases of it! :)

kolleen_caudillo - April 28

KENDRA- ok so im slow today, im sorry to hear about ur early labor, but like everyone said take it easy and all should be ok, STEF-have u done ur glucose test yet? i know what u mean about drinking bottled water being easier, i hate water but since i got my glucose back i have started to drink alot, well 3 bottles a day, thats alot for me. well gotta type, ill check in later

kendra.marie - April 28

i cnat drink water inless its in a water bottle (thats funny ive not realized that until you guys said soemthing) im the same ahah. thats funny aint it ?

stefkay - April 28

I'm a water fiend now..I drink like 6, 20 oz bottles a day! I crave it, which is a good craving to have I guess. I'm so excited that I just got off the phone with my dr's scheduler and have ALL my appts set up for the rest of my pregnancy!!!! YAY! I guess they lost me in the shuffle because they said it was supposed to be done at 20 weeks! WTF? So I got in exactly 2 weeks out and then another 2 weeks and then 2 weeks after that I start once a week....I go every Friday in June! woohoooooooo :) It feels good to have it all set up and not worry about when everything is going on. My calendar for May and June is jam packed already with showers, appts. and cla__ses. I am glad as it helps the time go by. I can't believe there is still 8 weeks or so left because baby girl feels like she's trying to claw her way out of my belly all day today! :O
