oh geez lol hahaha yes you are my rock the cradle girl! i need to watch it tonight.... i got it on the dvr! thanks for your well wishes! and yes baby dev is doing good. he actually moved from being head down to laying horizontal across my belly. weird. but they say not to worry cuz he still has got plenty of time to move. yeah dont get too freaked out about the belly touching.... maybe you should make a tshirt or something that says 'don't touch!' lol or 'hand off tha belly' hahaha

Sprinkles - May 2

omg if i wear a shirt like that my obnoxious friends will definatly touch it hahahaha I'm just going to go there and talk to myself and prepare myself for it cause I feel it is inevitable LOL I didnt put the crib together but I may tomorrow ... I got a lil nervous at the thought haha d__n I want my new credit card I sent away for so I can go buy my mattress for it so I can set it up lol omg right about my pelvic area I feel like her moving but its realllll like strong so much that i almost feel like someone is touching me on the outside .. even moved my pants and they slid down a lil more.. how weird is that!

kay101 - May 2

haha now you REALLY are like me. My iron is just a tad low so I only have to take it every other day. I bet a sleepover will be tons of fun lol good luck with that one!

disko love - May 2

goodnight dawn! sleep well. hahaha yeah they said my iron was a t_tch low. i was like what is a t_tch? lol so i may just take it every other day too! hahaha yeah thanks for the vote of confidence on the ol' slumber party! yeah! i'm being sarcastic you know...... lol but yeah freddie and her have been doing everything... poor freddie he is so tired these days. i mean having to do everything and take care of crow and run taylor around by 9 he is dead beat tired! what a champ though! lol

kay101 - May 2

Ok, can I trade with you the next two days? I need somebody to finish setting stuff up and I don't trust mine lol are you taking chromagen? That would be too funny, well not funny but you know what I mean, if you were too. Have they talked to you about when they'll take you off your meds?

disko love - May 2

shut up yes.. chromagen! that is too awfully weird! hahaha they mentioned taking me off the meds in about 3 weeks so that would make me 35 weeks so do you think that is too early???

kay101 - May 2

HAHA! That's SO funny! Next thing you know you're gonna have an amnio at 36 weeks and a c-section. I stopped mine at 35 weeks and I've been doing just fine. Sure I've had lots of contractions but I'm not in labor. I had them all the time anyway, it was just normal for me and not doing much to my cervix so I got to the point where they didn't really concern me.

disko love - May 3

hahaha no doubt huh?!? isn't that so weird? yeah i've heard of people going for weeks off of medication not going into labor for weeks.... why is that? is it just cuz it's bh contractions? or what? i was wondering if it's cuz the medication gets into your system and maybe still helps control the contractions.... hmmm.........

kay101 - May 3

Yeah it is wierd. I always have way more contractions than I should on my NST but that just seems to be normal for me. I was told it can take a while for your body to readjust. The labor and dlivery nurses would always tell me I would be stuck with these contractions and the next thing I know I'd be coming in to be induced lol. My contractions whenever I went in would be between 3-5 minutes apart and some get so strong they'd go off the chart. Do you ever look at your strip as it prints out?

Morning Ladies and happy weekend!:) It's sunny and warm here today so I'm hoping to get outside and do some gardening. Disko, I'm glad you're back and everything's ok:) Amanda, I've been having crazy pain all around my ribs -at my appt on thursday, the Dr told me it's because the baby prefers nestling in that area (and kicking and punching it over and over) and my stomach is huge (usually not) and the skin is stretched so tightly that it's super sensitive. It almost feels like there's a huge bruise there (there isn't). And there's not much I can do about it except try and gently move the baby when he goes up there. Speaking of my appt, my Dr has now put me off work for good:( I was hoping I might be able to go back for a couple of weeks (since I've been off work since the Feb.3rd), but since I'm almost 36 weeks now he wasn't comfortable with that. So that's it, I'm done working for now. Kay, sounds like you're just about ready -how exciting! Dawn, I put together our 4-in-1 convertible crib and it really wasn't too hard -I totally followed all the instructions in order but I didn't find it too bad. Have a great time at your shower, and if you really don't want ppl to touch your belly, just complain about how the baby keeps kicking you and how sensitive it is to the touch -then they won't want to touch it and hurt you;) In all seriousness, when the cloth from my shirt brushes against that spot near my ribs, it brings tears to my eyes 'cause it hurts so bad, and when I take a shower, I can't let the water hit my right side around my ribs because it feels like someone is driving nails into my skin -not fun.

Hey girlie! Nice to see somebody up bright and early with me! I don't like my job so I'm happy to be off work, even though you've been off a month longer than me. I'd honestly rather sit around bored than be there. I'm sorry your ribs are hurting so bad. My little guy drags what I can only a__sume to be his elbow or heel of his foot across mine up there. Other times he just tries to stretch out and fails miserably, but because my stomach is so big and so tight it can get really uncomfy when he presses out hard everywhere all at once. Well, I didn't go to bed till 13O and I woke up at 6, layed there and hour and just gave up and got up. I'm gonna take some stuff back to Babies R Us and pick up maybe another pack of blankets and burp cloths. I'd rather have extra and not have to worry about washing things so frequently, especiall at first after having a c-section. I had gone to old navy looking for newborn onesies, and they had all these winter 3 packs on clearance for $4.99 and it just struck me this morning that I should stock up on them in bigger sizes. They grow so fast......I can't believe the though didn't strike me earlier but I hope they still have some.
