lol.. they live in Puyallup. I have only been there once, for thanksgiving, and I loved it. I grew up in Arizona and live in Texas so Washington was a nice change :)

Morning girls!! Heather I would say just stick it out it's not a permanent thing anyway and if he agreed as well not to anymore well all you can do is take him at his word. Just remind yourself temporary lol .. It's hard when your staying with other people cause they don't typically like people coming in and rearranging the way they do things. Even if you are right its a tough argument to win. Once the baby is home then I would really raise hell if that happened again and def move. My dad is a big stoner so I am kinda used to it and telling him not to smoke in his own house would never go over well lol but I grew up with it and my dad is less tolerable when he doesnt smoke so I am just like .. do what makes you happy. My daughter stays there with them every so often for a weekend and he will smoke but in his room - he doesnt ever smoke anywhere but his room and that smell is through the house - she never really caught on though...he will do it at night when shes sleeping or out with my mom for the day and he will go in his room and open the window and smoke out it - I guess that is his compromise - i never had to say anything to him but he doesnt want her to know he does so he tries to hide it.... good luck dear :o)

LOL chas was sitting next to me a few mins ago and says to me what happens if you go into cafemom ( you know that advertis____nt they show on here and myspace constantly) and you are a man ... Kay- I can't wait to reach the point where I step on the scale and lose 15 lbs! I think i"m starting to swell. It hurts my legs when I squat...they feel weird. I was taking a bath last night and it looked like I had cankles. Gabby-was that you that mentioned you had them the other day? Is everyone else swelling? I made chocolate chip cookies last night a pecan shortbread cookies and I only had 1 cookie. I just didn't feel like eating them after I made them. Maybe today I'll be the cookie monster. Heather- I don't envy your situation with your Mom and her DH. I lived with my bil and sil for a month and couldn't stand the fact that they promised theyd smoke outside and never once did so while I was there...so I moved in with my sister and her DH for the last 2 weeks here. For me, it became stressful, and thats not good for me or the baby---so if its a stressful situation, you've gotta do whats right fo the both of you. Whichever that may be, just chose the option you feel is best to make...if you can live with you Dad for a while...maybe your bro wouldn't mind giving up his bed for his preggo sister, ya know? This way maybe you can give your mom a wake up call and show her you won't tolerate it.... ?

BTW- that "Linn" who replied to your post, Heather is extremely opinionated. She has a lot to say about getting married at our age and having children...a LOT of negative things to say....--needless to say, I find her a__sumptions about young marriage or motherhood offensive...and I don't like her. :-P Maybe it my hormones, but still! Ladies, I think I might change my username to Blowfish0628, because thats what I feel like. My face is ROUND and puffy.....hahhahahahahaha

Hey girls. Just got back from my doctors appt. That GBS test was nothing. I was thinking it was gonna be all invasive, but not really. But I did ask her to check and see if I was dilated at all and that hurt. She friggin jammed her finger up there like she was gutting an animal. And guess what, I'm not dilated at all, haha. She said maybe a fingertip but not really. She said my cervix is hard and not thinned at all, oh and I didn't drop at all either (he's not engaged). So it doesn't look like I'll be going into labor anytime soon, hopefully. I'd like for him to stay put at least until 39 weeks. So Heather I was reading your post about the pot thing and I actually have a mixed reaction. First of all, that Lin lady that replied sounds like a jacka__s. Second of all I used to be a pretty heavy pot smoker, and for about 6 or 7 years. So with that being said I can understand why he smokes pot, but if they asked you to come stay with them, then they need to respect the fact that you are pregnant and don't want to be around the smoke. If you asked them if you could stay there and then started asking them to change their ways, that would be a different story. Also smoke is smoke, whether it is tobacco or pot. It is dangerous for your lungs either way. I love it when people like that Lin lady try to act like they know all about things when they really have no idea, and then sound like an idiot. So I don't blame you for wanting him to keep it outside, and like Dawn said, try to remind yourself that it is temporary. so I would say give them another chance, and if it happens again then I would try to make alternate arrangements.

And yes newlywed that was me that has cankles! They are so obnoxious! I hate to sound mean but there's this girl that goes to my doc office, and we usually have an appt at the same time every two weeks. So I was talking to her today and she said she's 32 weeks, well she is really heavy, like I wouldn't have even known she was pregnant. But anyways, her ankles are not swollen at all. Like how unfair is that. She's carrying lots of extra weight around and she doesn't swell. But me, I have only gained 27 lbs and my ankles look like the michelin man. Oh God and when I was walking out of teh office, there was a nurse walking in so I smiled at her and kept walking. Next thing you know I heard her friggin hit the pavement like a ton of bricks. She must have missed the curb and fell flat on her face. So I ran over to make sure she was ok and she goes, I was staring at you and remembering how much I loved being pregnant and I must have missed the curb, haha. I felt so bad, even though it wasn't really my fault. It was a shame though, she had bloody knees and sc___ped her chin.

hahahaha! Gabby- thats so funny about the nurse! I mean, poor thing...she must've felt so clumsy. But it made me laugh! I swear, I got cankles overnight! I also just noticed this morning that my wedding rings were way to tight on my finger. I have only gained 24 for now, but I didn't expect to start swelling like this! Is there anything we can do to stop it?Yes---seriously don't listen to that Linn lady. You're right Gabby- no matter what-smoke is smoke, and its harmful especially to the baby. They should admit to that.

Heather you should ask Linn, if pot is so not harmful would she smoke it while pregnant or let her baby be in the same room as someone smoking it? I doubt she would have a good answer for that one.

HAHAAHAHAHHAHHAAHA aww gabby that story made me laugh cause I could picture it !! omg i am a bad person for laughing!! I had that swelling BAD with chas not so much this time -- are you watching your salt? They told me to watch my salt last time. There are these people looking at the house next door and i am trying to make my dogs bark LOL so they wont rent it hahaahhhaha then i am cracking up and the dogs just stop and look at me lol

Dawn, thats funny. There are two vacant houses across the street from me that they are trying to rent out and everytime I see some trashy a__s people looking at it, I let all 3 dogs out on the porch and get them all riled up. Haha they always get all scared and like walk into and out of the house really quick.

I'm making blueberry muffins! MMMMMMMMM. Oh and I gained 3 more pounds this visit, isn't it supposed to level off at this point. I think it's fluid.

gabby i know the realtor must hate me i either put my TV loud or make the pups bark cause I figure better to do it now then have these people move in then be surprised and start calling the cops on me so if they rent it knowing i have dogs they are less likely to complain. I know i am horrible but i dont care ... I own this house they can move alot easier then i can.

Oh and i know all it takes is for ME to go outside hahaha they see me all tattoo'd up and a__sume i am this big party animal druggie and stare at me then kind of fake smile and run in the house hahahaha - if i had a bra on i would have went out LOL

haha, well it's funny because my next door neighbors are like 80 and they are probably the loudest neighbors ever. So looks are deceiving. The old man is super nice but a raging alcoholic, so he comes home from the bar around 6 everyday and then until like 9 we hear them fighting. We've been here for 3 years now though so we just turn the tv louder. Oh and at our block party last summer, my other neighbor thought it would be funny to tell everyone on our block that she had to rearrange the furniture in her bedroom because me and fred get really "loud and crazy" at night. I was like B___h don't be jealous!
