Thank you girls that dog means SO much to me I applied for 4 loans last night to try and get something so I can feel like ok if he needs surgery I will get it for him but of course with a house currently in forclosure and no job and all no one will approve me ... bad timing with this dog .. Now my last credit card is maxed out and I have no idea whats going to happen with him yet - I hate not having answers. I sit with him and rub his belly and all but I cant sit on the floor too long i get all crampy and locked up then I get emotional so I am sitting here staring at him. Kay I cant believe they dont know how many weeks you are ..thats nuts ..I know with me they cant be wrong lol i only did it once haha

hey girls. so i had my nst today and they said that i failed. :o/ i was having contractions again and they gave me magnesium sulfate and the doctor put me on bedrest until monday for now.... i have to go back on monday for another nst and hopefully i will pa__s and i can be taken off of bedrest...... oh wow it so sucks especially cuz 'she' makes me feel so incredibly guilty. what a beezy she is! oh wow kay..... sorry to hear that you failed again.... :( but whatever you do just rest (that is what they keep telling me) and keep that baby in there! :) as far as the birth control for me....... i'm getting a tubal after this baby is born.... four is enough for me! so i need not worry about birth control which makes me happy. i used to forget to take the pill all the time so i switched up to the depo and i gained some weight but that was okay cuz i was a skinny little thing.... and my periods were like barely even there.. which i liked. we were supposed to go to our nephews 1st birthday party on saturday but the drive is 1 hour and 45 minutes away so it looks like we aren't going to be going which i was kinda looking forward to but freddie said no way jose. elliot (our nephew) birthday is actually on sunday 4/20 so we are gonna see if they can come by and get his present and all that stuff. dawn i am so sorry to hear about quazi.... poor little guy. i hope that everything is okay with him. well you don't have to ride in the car for an hour with your friend now, eh? gots to take care of your little quazi........

im just curios as to what nst is and why do they do it?

dawn - I know my dates are right, I just wouldn't mind them changing it a week since they're giving me such a hard time with having my c-section early. gabby - I don't know what the hell is up with that. I don't know if it's a policy at the hospital, state, or what but I think it's ridiculous. Like I said, if I have to do that c___p I'm just gonna ask if they'll test at 37 weeks then. disko - ugh the mag sucks. How long were you on it for? I got admitted and the whole nine yards with it. I'm surprised they did try to give you a shot or terbutaline or brethine first. The magnesium sulfate is pretty strong and they usually only give it to you if nothing else works. I think if they really only let your have four contractions in an hour that I'd fail every single one. Did you dialate at all? I'm at a whole whopping one centimeter after having all these contractions for 5 weeks haha sorry you're stuck hanging out with me all weekend.

Nst stands for non stress test. If you've been to labor and delivery you've probably done one. They put two monitors on your belly. One measures contractions, the other monitors the babies heartrate. There's loads and loads of reasons they can do them, the most common are to see how many contractions you're having, how strong they are, and how far apart.

Oh, I forgot, you also click a b___ton everytime you feel the baby move.

ohhhh, yeah ive been there twice and i've had the monitors but no b___ton thing. I feel so bloated today, like in the first tri, (sorry if it brings back memories, lol) i couldn't sleep good cause of it and im sure my eating all morning and having a pepsi probably doesn't help.

wow dawn, sorry about your doggy! :( I have never had a dog so I don't know anything to help - just a cat who has never been sick. Kay, I think you should just move into the hospital since you're there all the time. They can cook and clean for you. :) Gabby - are you crazy??? 3-4 months after you have your first???? :) I would have wanted to die if I had gotten pregnant that soon! haha...I waited till she was a year old and that was hard enough on me - mentally and physically. But, everyone is different - if you can handle it you go girl! My friend who just had a baby in March had wanted to be pregnant by November - and then she had the baby and is not so sure that's a good idea now. Her husband certainly doesn't want her to get pregnant soon either - she was a crazy hormonal mess. :) I think he needs a break. Disko - sorry about your NST. Bed rest sucks. I only had to do it for a week with my dd and it was miserable. I don't know how you guys do it. My sister was on bedrest for 3 months with her last - had a cerclage and everything. She did it all with 3 other kids to take care of, the youngest was 3 or 4 at the time. Yikes...and you have other kids too disko! Take it easy all of you with contractions! I'm starting to think we're gonna need to call our selves the May mommies. :)

They did my group b strep swab today which I thought was a little early so check this out : "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended routine screening for v____al strep B for all pregnant women. This screening is performed between the 35th and 37th week of pregnancy (anytime other than this time will not be significant to show if a woman is carrying GBS during the time of her delivery). " That would make sense if they changed my due date since they were saying all day I was 35 weeks 1 day so yeah, I think it WAS supposed to b changed.

Oh and fefer lol I forgot to respond in my little moment of enlightenment. I'm starting to HATE that place. I was under the impression they'd monitor me for a little bit, check me, and send me home. When they wanted to give me the shot I was like oh my God please just get me the hell out of here NOW. I think I was traumatized by getting admitted to the hospital, it's aweful. It actually made me really appreciate being able to take it easy at home as long as I wasn't stuck there. It was tough at first, but I've gotten used to it and it's actually not so bad. I haven't had time of from work like this in years and it's one of the few times in life I will. I'm trying to make the best of it! I would like somebody to cook and clean for me a little more than SOMEBODY does lol

Disko your on bedrest now too!! wow well rest girl your how many weeks now? That ride was 2 and a half hours and I would have left at 10 am and got back after midnight - there is NO way cause if he isnt better and he gets sick or something I would never get over that I wasnt here for him. I am wondering (cause I always think negative) if he does pa__s in my house what the hell do I do with him .. he is a BIG dog. I think my dad had someone pick his dog up once and cremate him - omg ... i would seriously have a heart attack if something happens to him. Ok .. no more I am going to think positive! About birth control - I dont have s_x so I wont need it - I def dont plan on s_xing anyone after she is here I dont even want to date ...or talk to anyone ..at all . I went two years being celibate so I am starting that over again. O and I was on depo once and it messed me up BIG time

O great a v____al exam... how fun - at least now i know to shave before my next appt. I feel really crampy right now - I just ate a big bowl of spagetti with sauce. Kay I dont know if i told you but after stalking them finally the girls I worked with said they cant make it lol big surprise eh...

actually i'm not totally sure why they just gave me the mag sulfate.... she gave me a 6 mg loaded dose and that was it for now... i am 1 cm dialated too. i was told to call tomorrow morning to report any more contractions. i'm guessing they will let me know if i need to come back in. i've only had a couple of contractions (pretty mild ones) since this morning. my doc told me that this is the first step (hopefully the only step) and the next step would be the mag sulfate drip in which i would get the first loaded dose and followed by a 2-3mg dose every hour should the contractions continue..... waaaaa. i hope not. so i am really taking it easy and bored bored bored. it seems like there is nothing on tv when you are stuck with nothing to do! argh.

ahh thats why you need a DVR thingy I save my shows lol its like money in the bank!

yeah I have a dvr but I have watched everything on it already!!! I just finished watching flavor of love 3 and I hate that show now... Its gotten so lame! But yay I've got the office, 30 rock and my name is earl tonight.... My fave show is the office. That's what she said... Hahahaha oh I do have that one show I know my kids a star on my dvr so maybe I will watch that. Hmmm.... I'm hungry too!

I like the office too but it sometime conflicts with other shows I have set up to tape - I have a TON of stuff on mine lol plus I have a netflix movie 'no reservations' too i have to watch yet.
