I have a dumb question. If me and fred have s_x and he lets it all go inside, will I have a chance of going into labor because of it? Should I have him pull out? Sorry TMI, I know, but I'm too embara__sed to ask my doc.

Hi Gabby ! He is mopey but he hasnt eaten so I dont know if thats why he has no energy or not - I am going to see if he will eat cheese or something he cant resist and if he can keep it down or poop at least. I think I will try it in the AM so I can watch him better. Oh an no surprise I have my heart things back again .,. ugh

oh dawn.... i hope quazi is ok.... i hate it when things like that happen to our lovees.... we have this huge chocolate lab and he kinda was acting the same way you explained but he kinda got mopey and we got a little worried so we took him to the darn emergency vet clinic and it just so happened that he ate one of those squeeker ball toys and it got stuck in his intestine and they had to pull it out of his b___t.... i know it is gross but he was fine after that. with big dogs like we have you never know what they are capable of eating! don't worry though.... let me know how he is ok?

I will let you know .. I dont know what he could have eaten I dont think he ate anything - Last thing he ate besides food was a pighide thing its like compressed pig ears. Unless he ate the lawn patch stuff I put in the yard I dont know what else it could be. Im sad tonight ... Im going to bed cause the worry is making me cramp up I think

Well I had lots of fun yesterday. I failed my nst....again.....got sent to labor and deliver.....again. I had my ultrasound first and my lil man is 5 pounds 9 ounces which I'm really happy about because I was only hoping him to be around 5 right now. Everything looked good and I think the ultrasound tech wanted to change my due date to May 20th....she said something like let's go ahead and change that....then when I had my nst done the girl said ok so you're 35 weeks 1 day (when I was 33 4) and the student who came in to ask me questions also said I was 35 weeks because I was consistantly measuring more than a week ahead. THEN the doctor even said 35 weeks but still said my due date was the first and she looked at it when I questioned her and said it was just the ultrasound measurement. I'm confused now as what they're going by and if my due date was supposed to have been changed or not. We talked about scheduling my c-section because I want it asap. She seemed reluctant to even let me go at 38 weeks and even with that she said she'd get me an amnio and have him delivered as soon as possible.....why the HELL would I have to have one at 38 weeks when they let you go into labor at 36? I've seen tons of women have their repeats done at 38 weeks and not one mentioned an amnio. He's measuring well ahead and has had shots to develop his lungs. I think it's bull, but she's calling over to the high risk doctor to consult with her about my situation. Anyway after I saw the doctor was when I got sent to labor and delivery because my contractions were 3 minutes (they really seem to like that number) and my cervix was long but a centimeter dialted. She wanted me kept on the monitor over there for about 45 minutes then rechecked to make sure my cervix hadn't changed more. The dumb a__s over there tells the nurse to put me on for ten minutes......I guess I earned my keep because I was still having them consitantly. They gave me a shot of brething which makes you really jittery and kept me up there another hour. It flatlined my contractions so they just sent me home.....didn't bother to check me like my doctor asked. She did say I'd be getting a call in a day or two about my c-section, and I see the other doctor I usually see next week. I didn't like him at first because he just kinda brushed me off, but I guess since I 'proved' myself he's a lot more attentive now and takes me seriously. My typing is annoying my hubby so I'll be back later lol he's trying to sleep.

Dawn, I'm sorry to hear about Quazi -I hope he's feeling better today. And Kay, you have more patience with those ppl than I would have! So you don't know what your due date is anymore???? Well I hope they schedule your c-section like you requested, seems like there's no reason for them not to. Sorry I have to cut this short, my parents are coming to get me for my big shopping trip -I'll check back later. Hope everyone has a good day:)

Hey girls, Gabby- my hubby does it all the time and so far i haven't gone in to labor. Dawn- hope Quazzi gets better. keep us posted. Kay- thats crazy, they should be doing what your doc requested not what they want. and if your cervix was 1 cm already they should of checked it again, remind me of when at 32 weeks or so i was 1/2 a centimeter when they checked at the docs and they never once again checked so lo and behold at 34 weeks i was in labor. i have an appt. today so i'm making my list of questions, i wish they would do one last ultrasound. Have fun shopping Eastcoast, i get to go this weekend and im so excited. I did order the crib bedding set from overstock. it wasn't as cheap as i would of liked but oh well.

Hi girls! Dawn, how is Quazi? Is he any better today? I was telling Fred about him last night and he was asking me this morning if I found out about him yet. He's a huge rottie lover, he's had them all his life, that's why when I told him that he vomiting, the first thing he said was I bet he ate something he wasn't supposed to, haha. He had a rottie that used to eat socks and would have to get them pulled from his b___t, ew. Well I hope he's feeling better today. Kay, I can't believe they are still giving you the run around with all this stuff. So did they give you an approximate date for your c-section or did they just kinda leave it up in the air. Also, your little guy is already 5 lbs 9 ounces, if you ended up having him tomorrow he would be fine right? I mean God forbid, but at least you know he is at a healthy weight and his lungs are pretty developed. I would love to find out how much King weighs right now but my doctors office is a bunch of morons. Eastcoast, have fun today shopping. I'm jealous, I'm at work. Ew and my boss asked me to deliver her daughters stool sample to the hospital this morning, I was like um that's nasty! Haha this morning I was laying down in bed and I kinda was spooning Fred, and King kicked him right in the back and woke him up from a sound sleep, it was so cute. He turned around and was like what was that? I said that's your baby telling you to get the hell up!

Ma, what does the crib bedding look like?

fefer1 - April 17

hey girls - don't stress about the little spermies. They say they help to soften the cervix but it takes a lot of sperm and a lot of s_x to make much of a difference, from what I hear. :) They say as your due date approaches to have s_x a lot to help soften things up but I don't know anyone who it's actually worked for, or that they could prove it was the sperm. Dawn, hope your doggie is ok! Let us know! Kay - I hope you can hold out for a few weeks - I know that u/s estimates aren't very accurate the later they are done. My friend was told at 40 weeks that her baby was at 8lb 14 ounces - give or take 21 ounces. At 42 weeks he was born and weighed 7lbs 14 ounces. I just know that u/s aren't very accurate except for early on. I hope they let out go early though - so you can stop stressing and stop being so uncomfortable and having to deal with all this c___p from the dr's!

ma1008 - April 17

its the 12 piece fairy tale one. it looks pretty thick so it better not be like those thin ones that barely have any stuffing. thats funny that he kicked him, Chelsea did a big double kick jolt type thing this morning and it freaked me out. WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!!!

kay101 - April 17

They haven't given me a date yet, she was going to consult with the high risk doctor at the hospital first because of my concerns and wanting my c-section as early as possible. I'm supposed to be getting a call today or tomorrow about it, but we'll see. They said he'd be just fine if I had him at 34 weeks, which is only a few days away. I was told the measurments can be up to 15% off, but was told mine are supposed to be pretty accurate since I've had so many and they've been consistant. My daughter was almost 9 pounds and I come from a family with itty bitty women that have big ol' babies haha. I don't want to deliver him before he's considered term, I just want him out as soon as he is. The sperm won't really do anything unless your body is ready to go into labor, then they can help it along a little bit so go ahead and s_x away! dawn - how's your doggie doing today? It sounds like he may be vomiting bile. If he's sick and has nothing left in his stomach to throw up, he'll start throwing up stomach acid. Try to keep him as hydrated as possible and that might help. I'd call and even ask if you could give him pediallyte because usually dogs will get the same things we do. My dog used to take dramamine before going in the car because she'd puke so maybe you could ask about giving him that too.

Oh that crib set is so pretty. I just looked it up. I hope my next baby is a girl so I can do the cute pink and purple stuff.
