well i hope to talk to you agian sometime soon i have to be put on this stupid monitor again.

HAHA heather I could see them checking you after all that and telling you you're only a centimeter......and of course they ask you on a scale of one to ten how much pain you're in and I could see you saying TEN! Have fun with those monitors jen. I hated when I would get uncomfy and roll over and they would move out of place. By the time the nurse would come in to fix them I'd be asleep and she'd wake me up.

kay i am offically due july 11th but they don't want me to go over 38 weeks which would be june 27th. this pregnancy is really different than my daughters bc i am soooooo much bigger and with my daughter i gained a lot of weight this time i have only gained 20 lbs.(i'm overwieght anyways) i feel like i have monkeys jumping up and down all over in my belly!! and a whole lot of pressure on my pelvic bone

hey, undate from dawn.. she is 4cm and playing the waiting game. she is at the hospital so thats good. I'll let you now things as I hear them.. looks like we'llhave another june baby here shortly :)

dawnie has been updating me too! No pain meds yet... tough cookie! Welp my contractions have tapered off a little so now I'm waiting for my pizza to be delivered! Yum. Oh yeah I forgot to welcome tashie to our June mommies club! Any names picked out for your little girl?

disko, Im so impressed that she has gone this long with no meds! shes my hero lol. Im not sure if I should be glad or sad that your contractions are slowing down lol but Im glad you are getting your pizza :)

welcome jennifer! Congratulations on the twin boys! I am 35 weeks pregnant with a boy. I just got out of the hospital (again) after being there for a week for preterm labor. I'm 4 cm. dilated and 100% effaced. I have a 15 yr old girl, a 12 yr old boy and a 3 yr old boy at home. But oh yeah my pizza was bomb! :-) sheesh guys I think I'm gonna be heading over to L & D .... But not quite yet .... ;-/

hahaha thanks Heather. But I ain't gonna go quite yet. You know something with all three of my kids I never got any pain meds or epidurals or anything - I think its cuz my labors went so fast that I never had time! It doesn't look like this one will be any different either. But lucky me I never even needed an episiotomy - I think my babes had little heads! LOL do you watch john and kate plus eight? They are at Disney world right now and it looks so fun!

i'm watching it too could you imagine having that many at once????? i'll be lucky if i can get through this!!!!! LOL

It made me feel a bit funny the first few days but I got used to it after that. Hopefully you can go home soon. Damn heather now I'm gonna have to go to panera sometime and get some potato soup! Disko I'm glad you at least got to enjoy your pizza! Are your contractions picking back up again? I'm about to eat some potato skins and an eggroll, then a spoonful of cookie dough for desert. I still eat like I'm pregnant lmao

disko, I have a feeling Im gonna wimp out and get an epi.. oh well :) I have never seen eight and kate plus eight.. seen commercials for it but never actually watched it.

Jennifer - I'm on procardia too. I have a short cervix too - measuring at 1.4 cm as of Thursday. Its nice to be off the monitors too, yeah. Sometimes its hard to get comfy. So maybe they will let you out on Friday?

Heather I did ten hours with bad contractions 2-3 minutes apart. I made it to 7 cm with my daughter being induced (and let me tell ya those contractions are WAY worse with the pitocin!) Not by choice but because my first epidural didn't work. Because I was induced I couldn't get out of bed and walk around, get in the tub or anything like that. You'll be surprised what you can do. Hey will somebody send dawn a message for me telling her when she's pushing I think she should splatter the nurse that sent her home? LMAO she'll get a laugh out of that at least and I'm sure she could use one.

well when i came in here almost 3 weeks ago they had to give me two shots of terb then quick mag that didn't work so two more shots of terb then 5 bags of slow mag finally my contractions stopped. now i am on the procardia and i feel like nothing is happening.
