I have my appointments every week now so it's not so exciting to see I've gained a pound or two. When they were further apart it would be a surprise to see how many pounds I'd put on. The thing that sucks about that "cute" basketball belly is that it gets stretched out really far in the front and even if you lose all the weight, your stomach is flat, and you tone the muscles you can still pinch it because it's loose from being stretched so much. Can't do anything to fix it but a tummy tuck and and I do not want anymore knives near my belly!

I do know what your talking about my friend is real tiny and she had a baby who is now 10 yrs old and her belly is like that .,.so much so that her belly b___ton is like closed ... like its winking at you

lol mine wasn't THAT bad but I guess it kinda looked like that if I had tight jeans on and would sit down. My stomach would be flat standing up but it would look like I had a little pudge when I sat down. I always thought it must look wierd because I'm so tiny. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse than it was.

Yeah I am sure hers was the extreme but I remember looking at it like wow... guess Im happy with my pudge lol I told her to stick a marble in her belly b___ton so it didnt look like that no more hahahaha

lmao that's the second time I've literally laughed reading a post today. My daughter came over today and was rubbing my belly b___ton with her finger and asked where my belly b___ton was since it stick out now. My hubby went in to work at 5 today so I hope he brings me home something to eat. I don't want to call and bug him so if not, I'll just send him out when he gets home.

hahaha aww thats cute - She is probably super excited about the baby especially since she can probably see ur belly move !

So my daughters father stops by and brings his oldest daughter she is 14 - now my house is dark cause I only have the TV on and i typically have all the lights off .. well she comes in and goes straight to the kitchen where quazi is - he jumps up cause he was barking since he couldnt see who it was - and bit her .. i slapped him clear across his face and muzzled him for punishment but wow that shocked me he didnt make her bleed but WOW ! dany was more mad at his daughter for walking at him like that - he is the one who brought up the fact it is dark and he couldnt really see her ... I was just so mad at him but lately he has seen alot of strangers and then she walked at him quick without letting him know who she was .. crazy how you never know with dogs

Did he just kinda snap at her? Sometimes dogs kinda just nip at people when they're scared or being protected. I added a couple new belly pics to myspace and i'll go put them up on facebook too. I snapped a couple in the bathroom lol but I had to bring my laptop with the camera plugged into it or it wouldn't work

hehe here's one to laugh at for when everybody wakes up. My hubby just got home and his nasty b___t pooted and sat down on the bed so I started scooching down to the other end of the bed and he asked where I was going. As soon as he turned his head back towards the tv I grabbed the glade and sprayed it right at his smelly b___t LOL I swear sometimes our relationship would make a good comedy show like george lopez or something

Yeah the basketball belly does get hard/heavy to lug around now, and it's frustrating since I can't even fit in some booths in restaurants anymore! I feel like filing some kind of complaint but then realize I'm just being an idiot, and we go elsewhere to eat:) It is nice to be off from work and able to do what I want, but the problem is that most of the time I'm too tired, nauseous, etc. to want to do much of anything -I've got zero energy. Actually, I'm kinda surprised that I haven't gained a lot more weight since I seem to just sit around most of the time! That flat belly thing with the winking belly b___ton that you guys were talking about freaks me out!!! Even though I'm sure they won't work, I'll have to start researching belly creams that will firm me up since I won't be getting any tummy tuck done either. Kay did you post your pics on facebook yet? I haven't got any on there -but am hoping to put some up later this week...and of course, a couple of weekends ago dh took our digi cam to a friend's house (a group of them were helping a buddy move) and the memory card (with ALL of my preggo pics) accidentally got erased:( So I've got no early preg pics now. Oh well, the only real pic I wanted was the one from our 20 week u/s when dh showed up with 3 different coloured roses and said he brought a rose for each member of his family -at least he thought to keep the flowers and dry them so instead of a pic, maybe I'll put the roses in a sc___pbook or something. Hey there must be some way to lose that extra belly skin (other than tummy tucks) -what about all those ppl who lose ma__sive amounts of weight quickly??? I don't think they all get tummy tucks? I'll have to start looking into it so I can prepare!!! Oh, and Dawn, I feel bad for Quazi -he's probably been through quite a bit lately with packing, moving, ppl coming in and out of the new place, and the fact that I'm sure he knows something is different with you (you're growing a little girl in there!!!) So no wonder he reacted the way he did -he's probably not yet 100% comfortable in the new surroundings and was trying to protect you and Chas the only way he knows how. Don't be mad at him -he was acting on instinct 'cause he loves you:)

Morning chickies ! Yeah he more so just scared me when she said he bit her then started crying - she is 14 and like 5'7 so its not like she is a little girl otherwise I would be more concerned but the more I thought about it the more I think he didnt like mean to bite her I think it was accidental cause every time she comes over which before yesterday was like a day before that ...she always goes into him and he lets her pet him and he gets all excited so i think maybe he was barking and jumping around and caught her hand by accident but I wont make excuses for him so when anyone comes over I will make sure they wait til he calms down before they go near him and I will introduce them and make sure he is ok before they pet him. I will definatley make sure he meets the baby too when she comes home maybe not immediatly but when he does we will do it in a not pushy way so he can adjust to her - he is still young so I know he will be ok with her he will just need to figure out what she is LOL my friend came over with her baby a while ago who was like 6 months old and he was scared to death when she would move or cry he would back up so fast and bark then lay down and sleep with one eye open to watch her like she was going to maul him hahaha! animals are so funny...but that girl made me nervous cause she let him smell her babies face ...like he was less then a inch from her kids FACE ... i dont let dogs get that close unless I KNOW the dog .. when violet comes home quazi will not be in her face like that he can smell her hands etc but I wont let him get that close cause you never know what they are thinking. I woke up at 330 am to pee and sure enough couldnt go back to sleep... an it SUKED cause I was having a dream about that guy from I love New york Buddah hahahahahaha I dont know WHERE that came from but when i woke up i was like wow I LOVE HIM haha anyway I layed there tossing and turning for the rest of the night now my belly is starting to get in the way when it comes to sleep then i get cramps and wake up ... especially when I have to pee I always cramp up if i hve to pee.

Dawn, I know exactly what you mean with the dogs. I am the same way, like my neighbors kid always comes to my door and puts her face in Tanks face and I get so nervous. I always tell her not to do it because he's still a puppy and he doesn't know her that well. If he got a hold of her face he'd tear it off. Now my girls, Philly and Diesel, they are fine with any child, baby or adult. They were actually temperament tested by a state issued trainer and they pa__sed with flying colors. But Tank is still leary of kids. Like on Easter we had to crate him because he kept trying to jump on my 5 year old nephew and he was getting scared, and then Tank would get even more excited and knocked him over a few times. The only downside of that was that when he was in his crate he was barking visciously at every person that walked by him because he wanted to be out of there. But Rotties are a breed that are protectors, like when I walk him, he will lunge at any man that gets too close to me, but only men. My MIL is a trainer also and she said that rotties are a breed that you shouldn't look directly into their eyes either because they may see it as a challenge. I don't know about your rottie, but mine is too big and dumb for his own good. So anyways, I woke up last night to pee and I think I had my first glimpse of sciatica, and I did not like it at all. I stepped out of bed onto one foot which gave out on me and then I fell. So Fred jumped up and tried to help me get up, but it felt like I had knots in my back. Then I walked to the bathroom and had shooting pains down my back and into the back of my legs. I think it may be because I rolled over in my sleep and woke up laying on my back, which I try to avoid doing. But I feel better now, I just went back to laying on my side after my bathroom time. Eastcoast thanks for the advice for the glucose test. On thursday I'm just going to stick to mostly protein foods and stay away from the carbs and sugary stuff. My boss brought me back a dreamcatcher from Arizona for the babies room. It's really cute and the colors match the bedding set. I'm so glad se's finally come around and is being nice about my pregnancy. It makes things so much easier. Well sorry TMI but I gotta go poo, my belly hurts and I drank apple juice. It always does it to me.

Ooo that sounds like the same thing that happens to me - I am used to it by now I have had it since like month 3 lol but if it catches you off guard you can definatly fall because of it - My dad has it bad so he can barely walk sometimes. They say as the baby gets heavier it will get worse. I had a rottie that hated men too but it was my fault cause I never socialized him - quazi is a big dumb baby lol but he is MAJOR clutsy and I never seen him aggressive the most he does is bark and wag his stub at the same time. I think what first attracted me to the breed is the protectiveness cause like now I am single with a child and I want a dog I know will let me know if anything is going on and a dog that will intimidate people - a few yrs back every house around me got broken into but mine - someone even climbed into a 2nd floor bedroom window to my neighbors house and the only way I felt safe and could sleep was because of my dogs and at that time I had 2 rotties I had the man hater who lived mostly in the bas____nt cause he was not fixed and NEVER learned my house was not something to pee all over so he would either be downstairs in the laundry room or out in the yard no where near my carpet lol and then I had a female who was free in the house and she went through a screen once after someone but i think they may have tried at opening the window cause she had sticks all over my kitch floor that she couldnt have reached on her own someone was trying to hit her with them and she took them from them - But I always loved my dogs because of that - they made me feel safe and quazi does too although he is the wimpiest rottweiler I ever had lol So how do you get a dog tempermental tested?

Well the only reason we had the girls tested was because my sister in law was living with us and she has a 3 year old daughter. Well her fatehr claimed that we had viscious pitbulls in the house and they were a threat to his daughter. So actually CPS hired someone to come out and test them. All they really did was put food in front of them then take it away or out of their mouths. They she hugged them from behind, like a kid would do. Then she pulled their tails a little, and taunted them. They just sat there with their tails wagging. So obviously they were not going to hurt a child, especially Freds neice, they love her so much. HAHA that just made me think about how on Easter she told me that she didn't want Diesel to go near her because she thought she would eat her pretty dress. I don't know where kids come up with these things. But I don't think Tank would pa__s the temperament test just yet. We're still working with him on his manners. And also when you pet him he moans and it sounds like a growl. People get scared all the time but he's just really loving it.

O my female rottie was funny like that when I first gave her to my dad he would hug her and she would do that moan thing but he hugged her so much she stopped lol she is more protective of my parents then she ever was with me - with me she was like the baby and there she thinks she is my dads wife .. although he has one she doesnt seem to care lol I do test quaz every so often with giving him a treat and taking it from him and he backs off and sits down and waits for it back lol the tail well his lil stub i grab sometimes but I always did it playing around with him ... I just ate me some breakfast! I had a onion bagel with ham egg and cheese that I made and a BIG gla__s of chocolate milk .. I love chocolate milk so much but whenever I drink a whole gla__s of anything it seems to sit in my stomach and makeme feel like a walking water balloon - and because of that I dont drink alot which I know is bad

Yeah I've been on a milk kick lately. I don't really love milk but we always had 1%. So I bought whole milk by accident and I LOVE it. Although I know I'll be huge if I drink alot of it since it's so high in fat. Oh and I forgot to answer Eastcoast on the weight issue. I've gained 15 lbs so far. But I think it's mostly belly and a__s. Although my old jeans do still fit up until the belly area , so maybe not a__s. I just feel like it's bigger.
