Oh and Dawn, did you put that ad on Craigslist? Cause thats where I found the people that I work for now. I love Craigslist, you just have to be careful of the scammers. Fefer, I am so jealous that your body is feeling good. I've been so uncomfortable lately. King seems to be using me as his personal punching bag, and some of his kicks and movements are so uncomfortable that I'll actually jump and say ouch out loud. And Kay, I wish I had someone to help me fold the clothes, that's so cute that she helps. But I can't complain too much, Fred usually ends up doing the laundry cause I'm too lazy to walk it up and down the bas____nt stairs.

Kay your daughter sounds like a doll! wow folded laundry for a cookie! now that is cheap labor lol yeah I am not worried about the girl I just know i have a short fuse - I am typically a happy polite smiling person but that is as long as you are nice to me ...soon as someone gets a lil fiesty with me it takes less then a second for me to flip the switch. I have alot of stuff that is wrong right now I dont need to deal with some woman who is mad at me cause she cant keep her man .. and I dont want him either so it makes it more annoying then anything. Quazi has been back to puking ALLLL morning - whatever water he drinks he pukes up - I feel like i am watching this dog die .. this is reallllllly hard on me right now .. my mom called me and told me to give my dog to the spca so they can help him but I am not giving him to a spca no way

I did put my ad on craigslist - I try and be careful cause I heard this one woman took an ad as a babysitter and got killed so I am realllly leary of that but I figured I would try and see what happens.

Dawn, you should call the vet again. Try to speak with the original doctor that you saw and remind him/her of the situation. Also ask them if they have some type of payment plan type thing. If they have that, then you can at least bring him back in there and not have to have all the money up front. And DO NOT take him to the spca. They will put him to sleep if he is sick. They don't have the funds to help every dog that comes in there sick. Has he pooped since that one time that you mentioned?

I am back to holding water from him for 24 hrs and starting at the beginning with the 1/2 cup of water again. this is getting redundant I wish they would have drawn blood when he was there and at least tested it for Pancreat_tis..

Yeah, you know what Dawn, I was talking to my MIL about Quaz cause she works at a vets office and she said it could be pancreat_tis. She said alot of those rawhide things will cause it to flare up and then anything fatty after that will irritate it more. I forgot to mention that to you the other day. Her dog had it about a year ago and he was having the same symptoms, throwing up constantly and diarrhea, so they put him on that bland diet (ground chicken and rice) and he got better in a few days. I'm not sure if he needed meds for it though. How old is Quazi?

He is 2 and a half .. You know it makes sense that it could be that because yesterday when he would take the steak and nothing else - the steak he took obviously has fat on it ... that may be what irritated it hmmm I wonder if they need meds to get better? He wont eat the plain chicken and rice he looks at it then walks away

good afternoon all......... oh wow dawn i sure hope quazi gets better soon ..... i know that has got to be wrecking havoc on your mind.... so speaking of which i had an animal emergency yesterday afternoon as well. we have this 'outside cat' and we were sitting outside yesterday and crow was playing with his spongebob squarepants fishing pole and of course the cats all love to chase it while he reels it in... welp then this cat that we called 'marnie' ran up to get the plankton lure and i noticed that there was blood on the neck area and then i had taylor hold 'marnie' up cuz i noticed that she had been licking her chest like around her lung area under her front leg and there was a puncture wound and it was oozing this yellow c___p ... so i thought to myself... oh shyt this is from a cat fight and it looked to me like it might be infected and abscess so freddie took the cat to the emergency vet office cuz of course it was after 5:30 and our regular vet was closed so anywho come to find out that all this time we thought we thought that this cat was a 'she' and really it is a male!!!! so we renamed him 'marty' and he did get into a fight and it was a nasty puncture wound and all in all he is now recuperating in our laundry room, taking antibiotics and he has to get warm compresses in the morning and in the evening. so then tomorrow morning we are gonna take him to our regular vet and get him testing for feline leukemia and aids and a flea treatment since he was already fixed and we are gonna keep him. mind you he will still be an inside and outside cat but he is such a loving sweetheart of a cat..... so we are suckers for animals!!! anywho..... i had my doctors appointment at the high risk doctor today and they measured the amniotic fluid and the cyst and all looks good. there has been no more growth since the last two weeks so that is good. but then i failed my nst testing again..... :o( so they gave me shot of terbutaline and told me to continue taking the pills and now i'm on complete bedrest. i am supposed to only get up to go to the bathroom and eat...... which sucks big time. but kay you are my beacon of hope and i look forward to getting that text message from you ..... anytime anyday no matter what time it is.... got it???? and that goes for you too dawn!!!!! but you already know that. don't cha? so wow did you all get the email from marisol? that d__n websense!!!!! i'll have to send her an email...... omg kay did that stuff give you the jitters or what??? d__n i hate it! so who do you guys want to see flavor flav with??? i think maybe thing 2.... did you watch antm last night??? i'm just gonna say can anyone say 'awkward'.............. lol

dawn - I'm sure if he gets hungry enough he'll eventually eat it. I wonder if you could pour something over it like gravy......but something that's non fatty. oh disko I feel your pain. You sound JUST like me. I would fail about every other nst and get sent to labor and delivery. I was there at least once a week. I hated that d__n shot! It makes you feel......just not right, like you've had ten pots of coffee and some type of drug lol. I can't remember if you're having a c-section too but has your doctor talked at all about delivering you early? I was on the same type of bedrest, just up to pee and eat. They don't really care all that much now that I'm almost 35 weeks....I have 11 days probably till my baby gets here so I'm functioning on overdrive when my body has gotten used to sitting around all day.

Im sitting here right now waiting for cha__sys dad to come help me carry quazi into my truck - I came home and he was laying on the floor and he couldnt get up he cant even stand so I called the vet and asked them to take a post dated check and they said ok I am bringing him there right now I will let you know how it goes - I been hysterical for the last hour

Hey ladies, sorry I haven't said anything in a while. I've been a bit stressed lately. I did some research and looked up several dates on my calendar, my conception date was most definitely either September 4th or September 5th. There is no possible way it was any other date. That really worries me, because that means Elizabeth is measuring four weeks behind. I'm still waiting for the 30th, hoping my doctor will change my due date back to May 27th, but when I looked over at the ultrasound measurements, it said she was only 3.8 pounds. In her 3D ultrasound she looks so chubby though, and I've gained 25 pounds already.. I'm very confused, I'm not sure how to feel about it. I'm kind of in a panic because May is just around the corner, I'm not fully prepared for her just yet.. I still have things on my list I need to buy, and for some reason I left all the really important things like diapers, baby powder, baby oil, baby wipes, shampoo, body wash etc. all to the last minute. I don't even have my hospital bag packed yet. I really don't want labor to sneak up on me or anything... I'm probably just driving myself crazy :\

oh no dawn!!! i'm so sorry! i sincerely hope that everything is okay with puppers...... yeah kay how ironic it is that now it's me ..... it's weird cuz it feels like just yesterday it was you telling me of your bedrest, etc.... and now how the tables have turned lol...... and no i wasn't having a planned c-section and today they told me that it is a possibility but as of right now no one is jumping the gun on that one.... so i'm still aiming for a vag birth..... but only time will tell. oh wow i have such a headache.... did you ever get headaches with the terb??? just curious .... i think it may just be my gla__ses that i'm wearing cuz i hardly ever wear them but i have astigmatism and wow the words are actually clear on the screen when i wear them.... shocker eh?? lame. maybe i'll just keep wearing them when im on the computer.... argh..... it's so nice outside today and i'm stuck here on the darn couch..... :o( but i gots to do what i gots to do, right??? man oh man i wish i would have done lots more to get ready for this babe... oh well coulda woulda shoulda!!!!!! lol

I just took a bath and when I got out I noticed out of the corner of my eye this huge rash on my back. It's between my shoulder blades and theres like a big patch probably the size of my hand then some little circly spots around it. It's kinda like a tan pinky color and I about flipped out like what the hell is that?! After much googling I found out it's hives. I always thought hives were bumps, kinda like mosquitoe bites, I didn't know they could be flat too. I guess I stressed myself out so much about my appointment I gave myself hives. I'm such a freak lmao

Amanda - What week were you when the ultrasound said she was 3.8 pounds? And was it 3.8 pounds or 3 pounds 8 ounces? Go over some things with me.....When was your last period? I'm a__suming towards the end of August. Were those two dates the ONLY time you had s_x after your last period? How long are your cycles? When did you get a positive pregnancy test? lol now that I'm done grilling you I might be able to help you figure things out. It's possible you're just having a smaller baby. I have big ones, my son measures 2 weeks ahead, but I know I'm really only 34 weeks and 5 days. Did you have any very early ultrasounds like in the first trimester? Those are actually the most accurate because babies grow at pretty much the same rate. It's later in the pregnancy that the difference between large and small babies can make them measure ahead or behind in ultrasounds. The important thing is that she has adequate growth between your ultrasounds. Like say you were 32 weeks but measuring 3O.....then at the next ultrasound you were 36 weeks but measuring 34. That would be good and just mean your baby's size might be smaller than average, like you might have a 6 or small 7 pounder at full term. Now say at 32 weeks you were measuring 3O then went in again at 36 weeks and were only measuring 32 it could mean she wasn't growing properly. I hope that made sense. disko - I'm sorry girlie :( are you 31 weeks? I earned some freedom back at 34 weeks. The terb and other stuff they give you make your blood pressure drop and I did get a headache a lot with my meds. I had heartracing, light headedness, heartburn, headache all that the first few days till my body adusted to it. After that I'd just get the headache sometimes. How do you think I feel? I'm finally given my freedom back and I end up with a week an a half to get ready haha and my house has a months worth of cleaning to do! I'm sure they'll take you off the bedrest around 35 weeks or so. Ask at your next appointment. I mean they'll let you deffinately go into labor at 36 weeks so that would be the latest. Hell, I'm not even 35 and they said they wouldn't really stop mine. Could you maybe get one of those reclining beach chairs to take outside? I was just about to buy a folding camping chair to sit outside in.

Hey girls well my daughters dad came and got him he was freaked out by how sick he looked - like a shell of a dog all sunk in ... he carried him to the truck for me quazi starts heaving while he was carrying him and dany got all freaked out but we got him in the truck and i drove like a NUT to the vet - they came out to get him i was hysterical crying and hugging him - basically he has a lil fever and they obviously kept him they have him on I.V and are doing blood work to see whats wrong ..all i can do it wait. If he makes it thru the night I will be shocked - I felt like i was going to pa__s out in there my heart was pounding i had cramps ... anyway I am home now and a little more calm just to know he is getting the care he needs and I cant see him laying there like that ...so I am going to eat something ..thank you girls for the support it means alot - I know this isnt a pet forum but I needed someone to talk to - Thank you again :o/
