It's storming really bad up here. It almost looks like a hurricane outside with the rain and trees b__wing. Our cable went out for a minute and the lights got really dim and were flickering so I hope we can hang on to our power. We had a tornado last year that knocked it out for 2 days and with a newborn that would really suck. I think we'd go stay in a hotel. Fefer I was so hopeful you weren't on for a reason! Sorry you got no sleep and are so uncomfy. Where is everyone? It seems like now there's only 4 of us.....I know you heather's are on the most but dawn and I pop in a good bit but where is everyone else hiding?

I dont know its been slow on here - but most of us are close or have babies now so I guess time online is limited - PLUS its the weekend .. I come on when violets asleep most the time since I have no life. Kay when do you go back to work?

Sadly the beginning of the month. I remember when I would get on and have such a hard time trying to catch up with everybody. I forgot it was sunday and you're right, the weekends are slower. I don't have much of a life either. I don't know anyone up here and when my hubby is at work I get kinda lonely just sitting around the house.

Aw I had ace playing on the floor, he likes to lay on his back and move his arms and legs all around and look at stuff. He started to fuss and I put him on my chest and sat down, started to pat his back and I looked down and the little guy was already asleep. It was SO cute lol it just caught me off guard because he usually won't sit there long like that.

haha I got violet to sleep like that today too - I bf her and then she was still fussy so I gave her some formula still she was all grumpy so I put her on my chest and she was moving around picking her head up etc finally she fell asleep ..I was like yayyy~ cause she will sleep on other peoples chest but for me she keeps trying to bite at my b___bs haha I am just a milk machine to her haha she is getting more alert ..she is such a doll - I am thinking of asking my friend if she would mind me exchanging the pack and play for the travel system (unless they sell just the stroller) .... She sleeps with me anyway u know and I really need that stroller ...do you think its rude of me to ask her if i can exchange it - and do you think babies r us would let me without a receipt

Hey girls!!! Fefer, I feel SO bad for you. Its like you're doing everything and little Jr just DOESNT want to come out!!! I feel miserable at 37 weeks... I can't imagine how I'd feel being overdue. Kay hopefully you don't get stuck in a hurricane!!!! Dawn- I'm pretty sure soon we'll all be on here as mommies, just talking about all the new little experiences we're going through. Theres just a few more of us until we're all finished. Amanda, sorry ot hear about the wack horomones! Kay, Fefer, and Dawn are right.... I've always heard that things are still crazy with your hormones AFTER birth...even worse than before! We went to an Italian Festival last night.. I had 4 mini meatball sandwiches, fried cheese raviolies,spiedini chicken, lemonade, and Italian Ice. MMMM! People kept bumping into me and apologizing..like over apologizing. It was hilarious. We got Dante a bib that says " I (heart) pasta" Can't wait till hes old enough to eat pasta and wear it! Lol! So, I wonder who's turn it is to POP this week. I bet both Heathers will go...and then it will be up to Jal and I to see whos next!!!! Although remember Deb and Lou? They still have yet to go too!

no, Dawn, your friends shouldn't be offended or think its rude to ask if she can exchange it for you. I'd try going ot exchange it yourself without the receipt first though. You never know, some girls are jsut dramamtic and might take offense, but if she was at your shower and got you a present for the sake of helping you out with something you seriously needed, she shouldn't be upset if you want to exchange it...because you've discovered you really need the stroller MORE, and she should be happy to exchange the present she got you for something you can actually use NOW! Kay- sorry you're going to have to go back to work soon. :- ( Shall we start a new thread tommorrow for a new week?

Yeah I was going to exchange it myself but she would know anyway so I want to tell her beforehand cause she is violets godmother and my best friend - I am sure she would be ok with it but she is a funny person sometimes so I dont want to offend her. I will ask her anyway today cause I really need the stroller more.

Ok so I asked her and she is cool with it she doesnt have the reciept though lol but she got it off my registry so they should be ok with that - besides I am not getting any cash just changing it for a stroller which is more expensive anyway.

it was a slow sunday on the thread lol. I took my sister to a movie then went to my dads house for dinner. it was nice :) my dad and step mom say I have to have the baby before the 12th because they are taking my brother and sister to some weekend long game convention thing lol (family of nerds) and they are joking with me that they'll be mad if I make them miss it. I told them I would do my best but next time they should plan their events better.

hey everyone - it's 10pm here and I'm about to go to bed. We walked to my sisters - 3 miles round trip I think. Then I cooked dinner, made a strawberry rhubarb pie - cleaned the kitchen, took a bath and sat my b___t down to eat my pie! :) After that I'm going to bed - hopefully I can sleep. My nap turned out out too! :) I'm wiped out though - totally. Can't wait to have this guy and feel like a human again - instead of a zombie mommy. :) gnight!

Hey girls sorry I've been MIA but I seriously underestimated the amount of time everything takes now. Me and King and Fred are all doing good. I'm a little sleep deprived, King is confused with his days and nights. I should have appreciated the two nights that I spent in the hospital because the help from the nurses was priceless. The first two nights home I literally sat and cried with him all night long. He just screamed and screamed. Last night wasn't too bad, he slept and just woke up every 2 hours to nurse which was totally fine. The other nights he would wake up to nurse and then not go back to sleep. Oh and my b___bies are EXACTLY like Fake barbie dolls t_tties too, so don't feel bad. They are starting to calm down, but the leakage is ridiculous. I've been going through the nipple pads like 1 an hour. But I guess its because my milk finally came in and just needs to regulate to what he needs. I'm sick of this bleeding c___p too. I got pregnant right off of depo and I was on that for 2 years, so I haven't had a period in almost 3 years, and I'll tell you, I did not miss it. My st_tches are healing pretty well, but it was a b___h the first time I had to go poop. Haha, I told fred to be on call if I needed help, haha, he was like um NO! Oh and I was skimming through some of the last thread and Christie, I actually only gained 27 lbs with him, so Everyone was shocked that he was 9lbs, including me. Ok well he's starting to wake up so I'm gonna go feed him and I'll try to catch back up later on today. Also I posted his birth story and sent some pics to Amanda. Later lovely pregnant Ladies!!!! CONGRATS DISKO!!!!!!!!!!!
