I swear i was just telling dh yesterday that my kidneys feel really swollen. i feel better today though. but yesterday i was having a lot of menstrual like cramps and it felt like my kidneys were totally swollen and hurting. i swear i thought it might just might be the onsought of labor....but alas i was wrong. i just started my 37th week.

ok this one i can related to. i had this problem with my first pregnancy, and im starting to get it agian. it may be related and it may not, but ill share anyways. my uterus is pinching off my utrer. the tube that connects ur kidney and bladder. so it is VERY VERY painful. with my 1st one it got so bad that i was on demoral and i had a stent placed inside to open \the tube back up. my body rejected it and i got really sick. so nine years later im going thru it agian, but this time my dr said that its more common than i thought for a preg women to go thru this. it sucks cos they ran they little test and they cant tell what it is, they do u/s and still cant see it. its not till they did xrays that they figured it out. now im not saying this is what ur going thru, im just sharing my experience. my dr told me to not lay on my right side, thats the side that its on, and not to lay on my back. if i feel pressure try to roll lylee off my kidney cos she could very well be pinching it. i know its uncomfortable for u, so try a heating pad, or a warm bath. if its too much tell ur dr.

Well when I was hospitalized I had it really bad and no one could tell m what it was and they basically said they didn't beleive I was in pain nad making it up-they had to give me morphine finally and I still felt it. The doc said my kidney function is high but they still dont know what it means and just let me go. It's worst when I wake up in the morning it makes me want to cry!

and the reason y they didnt believe u were in paib is cos they cant see it for them selves. i know how u feel. i see a specialist cos im a high risk due to my kidney, and some times i think he thinks im drug seeking too. but u know what the pain is real and dont let them make u feel bad about it. this time around ny dr doesnt wanna give me the stent so if i cant deal with the pain then he will induce me early. as early as 5 weeks. it took alomost 2 months of constantly being in the hospital to get them to do something last time. it totally sucked. trust me i know whst ur dealing with. when are u due

Im due June 1st -Thats exactly how I feel-they think I am drug seeking-If I was drug seeking I would be happy after they gave me morphine and not still crying!!!! They make me feel so bad and I hate going in now- I have to go once a week b/c of all my problems and they just say well we dont see whats causing the pain so it must not be there-whatever I have 5 weeks left-if they dont induce me-which I am really hoping they do b/c I am freakin miserable!

hang in there, ur almost done. i still have 10 weeks to go. try to stay off ur right side when u sleep ok, tell ur dr that ur hurting and u want something for it. im on vicodon right now, but wednesday my dr is either gonna have up it or give me something stronger. wehn i had this the first time it started at my 7 month, so i was in no way going to finish my pregnancy in that much pain. nor should u

They gave me darvocets-but I swear they barely touch it and I think theyre hesitant to give me stuff when "they dont know whats causing it" which I understand but holy c___p!! I tried to get an appt today but they dont have one til weds

what did they give u? i have never heard of that. so did u take them up on having wednesday as an appt? maybe if u complain alot about it they would hear u! im kidding but not u know. sometimes u have to yell to get them to hear ur voice. i go in on wednesday too. u could always ask them to u/s ur kidney if they have not already done that. what side is it on

mostly the right side its hard to sit still it hurts so bad-darvocet is kinda like tylenol 3 its a mild narcotic not as strong as vicodin

ok to put u at ease, if u r going thru what im going thru its common for pregnant women. not that that makes u feel better or make the pain go away, but like i said when u go to the dr ask about possibly getting an u/s of the right side. and the pain meds they gave u r weak for this problem. like i said before i was on demoral then percicot after that. so no what they gave u isnt going to help. till u go to the dr try the heatingpad, stay off that side and drink lots of water. hang in there girl its almost over. it gets to where i cant even touch that side. i know going into pregnancy that i will go thru this, but the end result is a beautiful baby. i have to suffer for a while, but to see her face makes it all go away. im here for ya =}

im 30 w 4d today, but i will be induced early. lke around fathers day. OMG thats like just a few weeks away. im so not ready either. but i will be by the time she gets here. i got up this morning because my stomach was growling so hard and i ate a raspberry toaster strudle and it woke her up and she was going to town, so i too have been up alot longer then i want to be LOL.

omg I went to bed last night at midnight and did not fall asleep until 6am b/c it hurt so bad!! And on top of that I've been getting painful contractions but not regular :(( I go see my ob tomorrow thank god and Im gonna beg her to induce me-or do sumthin-I have really high bp so she was talkin bout inducing me anyway. A raspberry toaster streudle sounds so good right now!! My lil fart is still asleep haha but he was up all night with me it feels like he spasms like kicks me a lot real quick then stops it's strange

ok so i get the same weird feeling too. i thought i was tripping though so im glad tohear that someone else feels it. i thought maybe lylee was having a seizer. LOL!!! im a total worry wart about everything. she seems to wake up at like 11 at night and stays up for 2-3 hrs at a time. i thought they were only awake for 20-30 min at a time. not my kid! i bet its just a look at whats to come. LOL!! so do u work? i go to school right now. im taking 3 months off for the baby then ill go back. ill finish in december. i have a test today. im not ready at all. so im hoping that there are people there early today to help me study. where did u live? alot of these women are on the east coast. im in portland or. the great northwest.

I know they say baies sleep 95% of the time theyre in you and I dont think mine does at all. I live in Michigan I dont work-thank god I dont think I could now anyway. I take online college cla__ses though for a business management degree. Where do you usually work? Do you have a myspace?

i have done everything under the sun as far as work goes. i dont have myspace, had a bad experience there but i am on face book. i like it better cuz strangers cant view ur stuff at all. i just joined yesterday. my long lost uncle is on there and invited me to join. so then my cousin that i have not talked to in 20 yr is on there too. u should check it out
