Not sure. I was 35 weeks last week and measured 40. Everyone's different. Could be a big baby maybe...mine usually are.

Is this your first? If not don't be surprised to measure a bit bigger, as it is quite common. Also please don't take this offensively but, depending on how much extra weight you are carrying, it can be difficult for them to get an accurate measurement of the womb itself. This happened to my cousin & they told her the baby was going to be a BIG one. Well bubs was born 6lb something (2days over), so my poor cousin didn't know whether to be happy that bubs was smaller than thought, or upset when they told her the reason why she must have been measuring bigger. Either way enjoy your pregnancy & don't worry too much about your measurements, as long as bubs is strong & healthy that is all that matters.

I wouldnt worry. They said the same thing to me this time and last time with my DD. They thought my DD was going to be big but she was born at 39 weeks and was 7 pounds 10 ounces, so just about average. This time when I was 27 weeks (last week) they said I was measuring at 30. I really just think its how I carry my babies, I carry very high and it just makes my stomach stick way out. Could be the same for you, or could be a big babe in there :o)
