So has anyone else noticed that it's easier to breathe these days? I just noticed that the past couple days I haven't been short of breath and when I lay down at night, I am a lot more comfortable than before and it's no longer impossible to get my lungs full of air. Perhaps Claire has dropped already? That would be nice. Just a thought...

Sarah, I hear ya on the love of milk. I've always been a fan but even more so during pregnancy. When it's cold, I love to heat up a big ol' gla__s of milk! And, no, I haven't noticed it being easier to breathe, though I've read that's a sign the baby's dropped. I'm carrying so low anyway, I'm not sure I'd notice. K2, you do have a cute lil' belly! I loved your pics! I know how you feel, though. Everyone (including a nurse at my last dr appt.) tells me, "you're so small for 36 weeks!" And I'm like, "I feel f-ing huge! I've gained almost 30 lbs!" 'Hope all you girls had a good weekend! - April

K2 you are so cute & little. I feel huge compared to you. Jan, so great to hear from you. It won't be long for you now! Robyn, how the heck are you? When is your c-section scheduled for? Nothing new here, just a bit of indigestion. Have a lovely day.

Hi Everyone, Sorry its been forever since I last posted but I was wondering if any of you are experiencing braxton hick alot but not very painful. This is my 4th pregnancy and you would think that I would be a pro at this but my last pregnancy I went at 38 weeks because I had to get the version done and when I went to the hospital to get that done and be induced, they had to give me a shot of breathin to stop my labor. Yes crazy but I showed up in labor already. I had preterm labor with the first 2 boys but that was 10 years ago and I didn't have much with my last pregnancy which was my daughter. I am now having a boy and am experiencing lots of braxton hicks that tighten my tummy and I have very mild back pain but not front pain. Its all very tolerable but who knows if I am just being too laid back and my high pain tolerance is kicking in. I know I have just typed alot for all to read but I am concerned if should go to the hospital or ignore it so I don't sit up at the hospital forever. I am not due until March 15th but my last OB appointment I had to have an ultrasound to check the size of the baby due to the doctors concern. I was 33 weeks and the baby was 5 lbs 6 oz. Doctor was concerned a little but said we would watch my next visits. Also the baby's head has been down since I was 28 weeks along. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you!

Mahagen, I would say with your history you should probably get checked out at the hospital. It's better to be safe than sorry, even if it means wasting a lot of time. I myself am 34 weeks and experiencing lots of BH that don't hurt. They're just tight, especially at the top of my uterus. I don't experience back pain usually, and that's the part of what you're experiencing that worries me. Good luck and be sure to keep us updated!

K2: Youre belly is so cute.. and so tiny. You just look soo good.. btw I loved the dress/shirt you were wearing for work today! Very cute! Monica: It was so nice to hear from you, the twins pictures are amazing. They are just beautiful perfect little babies. Jan: Long time no see. glad things are still truckin a long for you. At the most you have 9 days left.. that is pretty exciting. Robyn: Like i said.. 6 days left.. WOOHOO!!!! Mahagen: Ive been having some painful bh's too. Its when im walking around cleaning up.. it feels like the baby is all of a sudden in this huge ball and my stomach is trying to squeeze him to death.. it hurts in my lower stomach and my lower back. On wednesday I am going to mention it to the doc and see what he says. I also feel it in my cervix.. it feels like hes just trying to shoot himself out.. not a fun feeling. SARAH: sorry that your cla__s got canceled.. just know that even if you dont get to go to those cla__ses.. youre going to be completely fine.. youll be a wonderful mommy, whether you take those cla__ses or not. Melissa: What a thoughtful shower gift.. with the sc___pbook. CUTE. Im glad your last shower went splendidly. As for me... I am the most uncomfortable woman on this planet. It hurts SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD to walk.. to stand on one foot is almost IMPOSSIBLE.. it just hurts soo much. Night time is awful. I keep getting bad pains in my back.. and its just not pretty. Everyone that I see says "oh my goodness youve dropped".. I didnt notice it.. until they said it.. there is almost two hand lengths below my b___bs now. when before there were none. WEIRD. Anyway girls.. Im going to start this new raspberry leaf tea thing.. im hoping it does something to bring him on out sooner. ~Kristin~

sarah21 - February 11

Kristin, don't count on the tea working. It might help since you're farther along. It's really not the labor-inducer people think. I've been taking it my whole pregnancy because it's good to tone your uterus and helps stimulate strong BH to get things going, which is a good thing! Give it a shot, but I think people misunderstand the purpose of it. I enjoy the tea-- the kind I have tastes like spearmint and I lovveee mint tea. Anyhoo, I was looking at nursing bras and I need advice. I am a 38 DD right now, only went up about half a cup size this pregnancy. What size nursing bra should I get? Should I go with an E, or stick with the DD? Help!!!

Chris1975 - February 12

Hey everyone! Well i went for my 37wk checkup today and my OB said that hes fully engaged and larger than normal and i could go into labour anytime! Wahoo... He said he wouldnt be surprised to see me at the hospital rather than at my next weeks checkup! i hope so!! Im gonna try s_xing and walking and talking to the little fella about making an early entrance!!! LOL. It feels so real now! Im also experiencing several shooting pains and cramps now and again...and im constantly sore in my pelvic area...bring on the waddle!! hehe. At least my hospital bag is finally packed!!

Astra - February 12

Hi guys. I too have been having some cramps and pain. Nothing consistent though so I'm not worried. I'll let my doc know at my appt tomorrow. Chris, I need to get my bag packed. I 'm so bad with that. I finally found nursing pajamas I actually like (motherhood). I think I'm avoiding doing it cause' i'm in denial it's happening soon...

BAF - February 12

Robyn, so good to hear from you. Wow, Monday is the big day!!! I can't believe little Justin will be here in 6 days. I know you are ready!! I'm off to Dallas today w/DH to look at the proofs from my maternity photo session. Hopefully I don't look like a total cow! Have a great day ladies!

sarah21 - February 12

Woohoo Chris! You go girl! You could be another early bird. So we're lined up with Robyn and then Chris so far... Wow Robyn! Monday! 6 days! Yikes. All you stinkin' February ditchers. I am really getting tired of waking up in pain at night. If I don't change positions about every two hours it hurts my back and inner thighs so bad. It wakes me up totally so then it's hard to fall back to sleep and it works that way all night. Ick. I HATE ROUND LIGAMENTS!! Alright that's my rant and complaint for the day. Last night I was laying on my back chatting with DH before we went to sleep and he had his hand on my belly and he was like "Whoa there's a body part." I felt and I was having a medium BH contraction. I was like "Um no that's a contraction. It's everywhere." He was really impressed, lol. Anyhoo I need to get some breakfast-- baby is hungry. :)

Sarah: I read a lot about nursing bras. The general rule is buy one that's one cup-size bigger and something that may be a little tight around or one you can adjust smaller. Most women's rib cages get smaller after birth, and the extra cup size will allow for when your milk comes in. Later, when it calms down, you might need you current or a smaller cupsize. I'm a 36D right now (up from a 34B!) so I got a nursing bra that stretches from 34D to 36DD. Astra and Chris: 'sounds like you girls might go soon! How exciting! Me, I'm 37 weeks and as of last Wed., not dilated at all. My b/h's are still mild and erratic, so I'm pretty sure this little boy's waiting til his March 5th due date or beyond. - April

sarah21 - February 12

Wow April! That is quite a nice jump in bra size, woohoo! I'm almost jealous, although it would be quite uncomfortable to be an E right now... Thanks for the input on the bras. Where did you find one that expands like that? Sounds really cool to be able to buy one that will fit both sizes. I'll probably buy one in my current size and one in a bigger size for now. I want to get them online where I have more selection so I need to get hoppin' on it. Plus the underwire popped out of one of my regular bras last night so I need to get a replacement PRONTO and figured I might as well get a nursing bra instead of another regular bra. Anyway, enough bra talk. Glad to hear you're not likely part of the February Ditcher's Club, hehe, but only for purely selfish reasons. Don't leave me here alone everybody!! :)

ACG - February 12

Yeah, two things I wish I could keep from pregnancy: the big b___bs and the thicker hair. I got my nursing bra on babycenterstoredotcom. It's by "Bravado." It was about $25, which, after shopping around, isn't too bad for a nursing bra. You're right about there being more selection online. Most department stores and even Motherhood Maternity only have 1 or 2 different styles. I'm off to yoga now. It's getting to feel more like a workout these days, with the big ol' belly! - April
