Thank you Sarah. You guys aren't allowed to make fun of my fat a__s belly!!! HAHAHAHA, I have also started gaining weight in my face these last couple of weeks. OH well, I guess I can't complain too much...........I did what the doctors asked of me!! Enjoy the pics. Sarah will be sending out the babies pics next!!! YIPEE!!!

BAF - January 31

Monica, how exciting. 5 more days & you will be holding the twins!!! I'm so jealous but I know my lo needs to bake a bit longer. I am secretly hoping he decides to come a little early. I am feeling good just big as a cow & sleeping is very uncomfortable. But I shouldn't say that as I'm sure it's nothing compared to what you're going through! Kristin, I know you're excited to have your c-section date. That's my due date as well! But like I said, I am hoping to meet my lo a little early! Guess I am just anxious and ready to get to the next step. I actually went walking this morning & it almost killed me. I thought my pubic bone & back were going to break. Monica, I loved the pictures. You look so sweet and absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see pictures of the twins. Robyn, how are you doing, any updates? Blessings to all and have a great day!

ROBYN - January 31

Hey all b/p is very high in the 170's then dropped to the 150's and now in the high 130's called the OB so i am on my way to his office he didnt care that it dropped so i will update or have monica update.

sarah21 - January 31

I hope all is well Robyn!! Update us as soon as you can!!! Brandy, I know how you feel. I am anxious for my little one to be here but I definitely want her baked through and through! I don't understand all the people who say that they walk for so many miles to try and induce labor. All that would do is make it impossible for me to move. It is so painful to walk. But you're right-- we can't complain since Monica has two babies the size of (or bigger than) ours! She never complains either. Geez. :)

Question - January 31

Good Luck Robyn on your ob visit, hope all goes well there. Monica your belly is looking great. I say your belly is not that big for 12lb babies! My ob visit was all goods and now I have to go every week til birth. Sorry so short but I have to run. Erica

sarah21 - January 31

Wow Erica, up to an every week visit! Glad to hear everything is well with you and little one!!

Rainbowbrite - January 31

oh yeah i forgot to ask my question.... i'm so not any type of expert in pregnancy! LOL but i was wondering.. since i'm not having many contractions or BH really... and i'm 33 weeks... does that mean i'm more likely to go over my due date? I get crampy feelings here and there but not really with any frequency or even daily... but i was just wondering if that means i'm more than likely going to go over my due date since my body is not showing any real signs of anything.... although having OTHER issues... lol... but nothing really due to my body getting ready for delivery!

K2 - 'Glad to hear that the cardiologist isn't too worried about your heart. I know, though, it's almost impossible not to worry anyway. 'Sounds like you're in good hands. KRISTIN - March 6th! Congrats! That's the day after my due date, though the way things are going, it may end up being a lot earlier or a lot later. SARAH - Thanks for sending the pics! Monica, you look great. I can't imagine what it feels like to have almost 3x the amount of baby I have in me right now! And Sarah, I hear ya on the stinky dogs. Lately our dog's smell has started bothering me more. I definitely need to wash her bedding. As for walking to get labor going, I've heard it's better to rest up for labor towards the end, instead of wearing yourself out walking. 'Sounds good to me! I'm going with it! - April

sarah21 - January 31

April glad to know I am not the only one getting tired of smelling dog. I guess it's my sense of smell being heightened. I absolutely detest dog smell. I bathe our poor dog at least once a week which makes his skin terribly itchy but I can't stand smelling him when he sits at my feet. And resting? Ha! I am too busy scrubbing, yes literally scrubbing, my house. I was standing on my bed today scrubbing the crown molding above our bed. And apparently it needed it, too, because it made me end up having to wash our sheets for the second time this week since the dust fell all over them. Ick! When DH gets home he doesn't know it but he's cleaning the ceiling fans. Hehehe. I try not to involve him too much in my nesting but there are just some things I am not able to do but I NEED done. And K2, I hope that doesn't mean that labor is going to be late for us! I only get a few BH here and there. They're intense but few and far between. Oh well I guess our babies will come when they come and we should enjoy the peace and quiet while we can. Anyway I need to get back to cleaning the kitchen some more so I can start dinner. I'm in the middle of scrubbing everything on the shelves...

K2: To answer your first question.. a biophysical fetal profile is an u/s that watches the baby to make sure they he/she is moving, that they are practice breathing and that they have enough fluids around them to keep them happy and healthy in the womb. I have one every week. To answer your second question.. just because you havent had a contraction or BH does NOT mean that you will go over.. you have just as good a chance as everyone else to go in alittle bit before or even on your due date. They often say that more women go a bit pa__sed their due date with a first baby.. but thats only an average.. so theres always people go differently then the average. Brandy: I know what you mean.. Id like for Kayden to come a little tiny bit early too. NOT TOO MUCH.. but just a bit.. a day.. 2 days.. anything pa__sed 38 weeks would be fine with me. Im just sooo excited to see him, and to hold him. I wanna know how much hair he has and I wanna know how big he is and who he looks like.. its like THE BEST present anyone could give.. Ive got two "presents" in the bathtub right now.. yelling .. MOM.. haha! April: I hope that Jack can hold on for a while.. its kind of cute that hes a little baby.. I just hope he stays on the same wave length. How long did it take for him to drop from the 32nd percentile to the 16th? Monica: I didnt see the pics yet.. but I emailed Sarah.. I cant wait to see your beautiful belly!! I have February 5th decorated on my calendar in Shelby and Shanes honour.. I CANT WAIT FOR PICS!!! Robyn: Im crossing my fingers for ya lovey.. that darn bp just cant stay good.. I think your bp HATES YOU as much as mine HATES ME!!! Sarah: My mil and fil have a dog.. and oh my I swear the smell of him could make me puke!!! I hate dog smell.. especially after they go outside and return to the indoors.. EW WW!! So girls.. In less then 12 hours.. when someone asks us.. when are you due.. we can say.. NEXT MONTH!!!! WOOOOHOOOO!! ~Kristin~

Wow girls. Lot's of chatting since I checked last. ROBYN- Hope all is calmng down and they can keep Justin in for a bit longer. Every day helps, but not at the expense of you too. If he does come this early he'll be small but healthy. Good luck. My (last as it turns out) perinatologist appt was followed by my OB appt. My peri did the u/s and Reece is measuring 5lbs 8oz, and my cervix has shortened from 3.8cm to 2.75cm. She said that there is no reason to continue care with hr unless my OB wants as I'm ion the home stretch and there's nothing for her to do at this point. So at my OB an hour later she decided my cervical length and the frequency of contractions I'm having warranted a NST (which we pa__sed fine) then and a week later. She wants to start seeing me every week now, and feels Reece will be arriving sometime around my 37-38th week. Of course who really knows this??? Next week I get my GBS test and first internal exam to check for dilation. Although I'm anxious to hold my lilttle boy, I want him to stay put until 37 weeks. BUT no longer than 38. She said we could discuss inducing at 38 weeks, but not sooner. I said I REALLY just want him to come on his own at 37 weeks. She laughed and said "we'll just throw that up to the cosmos and see what we can get for you." ha ha ha. We go on our family tour of the hospital Monday, and my last shower is next Friday. Hope all have nice evenings. Talk to you later.

Astra - February 1

Hi guys, wow, I've been busy for a couple of days and you have been chatting up a storm. First of all Sarah, don't worry about being the last one on the March thread, that will probably be me, my date is March 19 and if Jr. decides to take his sweet time I could be waiting till April!!! That being said I am so excited for both Monica and Kristin that you have dates and very soon you will have your babies with you. Robyn, I hope your BP has settled and you are feeling well, it sounds like you have a great doc taking care of you and tons of support... Sarah you have the nesting bug bad! it's so funny. I've calmed down a little but I suspect I will return in full force over the weekend. I managed to damage my shoulder in yoga this week. It's very frustrating because it doesn't hurt all the time but every once in a while I'll make a certain movement and I'm in agony. Well I'll just let it heal, nothing else to do really.

ACG - February 1

Hey, girls! 'Had the biophysical profile and NST this morning. Jack pa__sed with flying colors, which the dr says is very rea__suring. He was moving so much during the NST, they had to reposition the monitor several times to re-find his heartbeat! We'll repeat the test every Wednesday until delivery to keep an eye on him. I feel so much better about it now! KRISTIN, to answer your question, he went from 38th to 16th in a little over a month. They'll do his weight again next week. SARAH, I haven't had many b/h either, just a few mild ones here and there. Happy Friday, everyone! - April

ROBYN - February 1

Hey all sorry i didnt update yesterday the OB said yes some of the numbers were very high but there isnt a consistent high reading since i log my b/p during the day and bring him the results. So tomorrow at 830am we are meeting the OB at the hospital in L&D hes doing a biophysical profile, NST, urine check and some other testing. He said at this very moment he cannot legally justify taking the baby this early unless he is forced to so he said tomorrow will tell him the results and if he needs to do the surgery tomorrow then he will but i seriously doubt thats gonna happen. I go back to the OB on monday for a regular check up. APRIL - wonderful news about Jack that is beyond reasurring i know Justin hates the NST never sits still i feel bad for him. MELISSA - Justin was weighing in 5lb 8oz last week too so i am curious as to what he weighs tomorrow. Well i am going to rest right now my dad took me to get my hair done so thats one more thing off the list of the things that need to be done before the little guy gets here. K2 - i am glad things are going to be ok with you no more scares on here people!!
