Congrats to Monica and her family! Oh, I'm so excited for them, and now I'm getting all teary-eyed. Kristin, sorry to hear about your worry over your BFP. I know it's hard not to worry, even when the dr tells you not to. Seems like we have a lot of BFP's and NST's going on these days. I had my weekly one this morning. They didn't do his weight - have to wait til next week to see if he's caught up any from last time, but he did great on the biophysical and the NST. Dh's work had a little shower for him this morning, so I went for that and surprised him - got more cool stuff and lots o diapers! - April

Monica, Congrats on the twins! Hope you're feeling better today. Sounds like an ordeal but at least it's over. Hopefully Shelby will perk up quickly so she can go home. Can't wait to see pictures. May God Bless your family!

Monica called Shelby will probably be in the hospital for up to 5 days more than likely Monica and Shane will be released tomorrow. Shelby is on 100% oxygen she can totally breath on her own but they want to make sure she doesnt have any infections shes on a feeding tube she still has some fluid in her lungs. Monica knows you all have congratulated her she doesnt know if she will get a chance to get on the computer for a few days but she said that she hasnt been able to hold Shelby since she was born this morning but Shane is with her. So thats the latest.

Happiness for Monica to be thru w/ l & d. Now come sthe recuperation and bonding. Delighted to hear both are as big as they are; that's a good thing. Shane sounds like an angel. I'll keep Shelby in my thoughts. Must be frightening, but not unusual for a twin to stay behind for a bit. Hopefully Monica can get in and hold that little girl. She NEEDS that contact to thrive. You're right about there being a lot of BFPs and NSTs lately. My second NST is tomorrrow a.m. early. Still having contractions and can tell Reece's movements are slowing down, both in frequency and type. I'm still well w/i the range I'm told to be in, but it's still always nerve-wracking to notice a difference of any kind. What can we expect though? These kids are running out of playspace! SARAH- How was your appt today? What did your midwife sway about the symptoms you're "enjoying" lately? ROBYN- Keep up the flood of water. Obviously it's doing the trick. So...We've sent NAN and now MONICA to l&d. Who's going to be next????

Melissa - i noticed too that movement though regular is not like constant does that make sense LOL. Its more rolling and stretching and the occasional jab and kick but its normal as long as there are movements like you said the play space is small now. Post as soon as you can with your NST results i am so used to doing them now its like another appt for me. I go back to the OB on Monday it will be a shock to actually make a full week with only going one time oh but we did have the hospital visit yesterday so it wont be a full week with only one appt (: Anyway I am sure Shelby will be just fine too Monica doesnt seem overly concerned its quite common with multiples they were born a month early. So they are doing well considering the gestation.

Hello all!!! Sorry i have been MIA for a little bit, i have been out sick with the stomache flu Monday and Tuesday! NO FUN... But first off congratulations to Monica and her new bundles of joy!!!! That is so exciting... We are all getting so much closer... and i forget that i'm one of the last March people due so you are all further along than i am! Robyn! GOOD JOB on the fluids and getting the fluid levels to increase! Although i still feel you're next it is great that things have gotten better for you!!! =) I myself had an OB appt yesterday and baby is doing well.. my midwife says that baby is pet_te (although she is healthy) she said if we make it to term (34 weeks now) she'll be only about 7lbs... it is like i don't feel she is pet_te... BUT i do get told alot that i'm small... but as long as she is healthy she can weigh whatever she wants!!! My midwife says that with the size of my boyfriend i'm really lucky to not be having a 10lb baby! But upon reading some posts- is diarrhea a sign of impending birth/labor??? I've been having that and lots of shooting pains in my cervix... do not feel good when i get those... but i have read about Sarah and her bout of fun!! so i was just inquiring! Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel too ladies... that does not sound fun. it seems like pregnancy is doing alot of fun stuff to all our bodies this trimester... guess we're saving all the fun for last!!! No wonder by the time the due date arrives everyone is so ready for the deliveries!!!!

Good morning Ladies. I had a totally swamped day yesterday so I wasn't able to get on the computer but Yay for healthy twins! Hopefully Shelby gets to go home sooner than the 5 days they are saying and hopefully they let Monica hold her! I would be bugging every nurse/doctor on shift at the hospital until they gave in and let me hold my baby. Hopefully Monica's recovery goes quickly. April, I pa__sed on your pictures this morning. Glad to hear your NST went well and hopefully Jack packs on some weight this week! Yay for lots of diapers. And as for me, the midwife wasn't concerned at all. She said it is totally normal as long as the symptoms don't continue, which they haven't. She thinks I'll just have a quick labor since I've had the intense BH and things. Soo I guess it's good in a way. Claire's measuring right at 33 weeks, which is how far I am, her heartrate was a good 136 and galloping away (it gets so loud now!), and my blood pressure was a beautiful 122/70 which made my midwife very happy. She actually thought I had been taking extra calcium and magnesium to lower it but I hadn't-- just watching caffeine and eating more protein. She was able to feel the baby REALLY well and commented that she felt "nobby" hehe. She is laying on my right head down with her face to my back, which is good and where she's been since 28 weeks. Just needs to slide down a bit and she'll be ready to pop out. I am soooo ready. I hope I don't have to make it to 40 weeks plus but if I do, not much I can do about it. :) She handed me a copy of the top part of the birth certificate she has to fill out so she can have the information to fill out the rest of it so she doesn't have a lot of last minute paperwork to fill out. It was like, "Wow, she is really thinking I am having a real live baby. Oh wait! I am!" One of those moments I guess.

Hi Ladies. Sarah, so glad to hear your appointment went well. I had my ultrasound today and everything looks good. He is head down (yipee!) and is also on the small side, the doc says he should be around 7 pounds or a little smaller. Since I am a pet_te woman myself I'm quite alright with this. The doc says that he looks good, good strong heart beat and good amount of fluid, so I'm pretty pleased. Now he just needs to hang out there and bake a little longer. Am having more annoying symptoms, whenever I walk anywhere my legs ache like I've just walked a marathon, my back is achy too and I can't seem to do anything without feeling exhausted. With all the annoying symptorms along the way I feel like this is the worst, having low energy. OK enough complaining. I hope you all are feeling good and enjoy the rest of the day...the weekend is coming soon...

Hi everybody. I havent been on in a while but wanted to check in an see how everyone was doing. Congrats to Monica!! How exciting. Hopefully she will get to take both of those babies home soon. I cant believe our time is so close. I was up all night tuesday night with contraction 15 apart but then they stopped and were off and on all day. My first two were late so I'm not expecting an early baby here. Hope everyone is doing well and counting down the days until we meet our lo's :)

K2 and Astra: My lil' Jack is also on the small side, which (as you said, K2) goes with the fact that everyone's always saying I look small for 36+ weeks. Whatever; I've gained almost 30 lbs! I also have had some shooting cervical pain, and I think it has to do with the fact that Jack's head is way low already, sitting on my cervix, according to u/s. I s'pose this is a good thing - he knows where the exit is! It's sure uncomfortable at times, though. The carpal tunnel in my left hand is getting worse and kept me up last night. Doc says there's not much to do about it but wait it out. 'Glad it didn't happen til the end! Oh, Melony, I saw your belly pic that Sarah sent - looks great! - April

I just re-read my last post and realized how complainy it sounds. It's hard not to be that way here at the end. I do still feel very lucky that this pgcy has gone so smoothly, though I too am realizing why women get tired of this near the end. I'm just now REALLY starting to not sleep well - blech! Whoops, there goes that complaining again! - April

Lol you're so funny April. You hardly ever complain. You're ent_tled to a few complaining posts. I read some third trimester groups back when we were measly first and second trimester gals, and I was always shocked at how complainy and foul mouthed they were. I was worried we'd all get that grumpy as we got big and uncomfortable. I think we've done pretty well. Poor Chris and K2 have some pretty miserable conditions (not to mention Jan and Monica with twins!) and we still crack jokes and are nice to each other. :) I just got done scrubbing the baseboards and scrubbing the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. Pathetic, I know, but I just don't get the same clean vibes that my nesting instinct needs if I just use the mop. Now I need to figure out what I want to eat for lunch...

Sarah, I wish I was getting some of your cleaning/nesting instinct - hands and knees, wow! My house could use a good scrubbing, but I can't get myself to do it. My nesting instinct seems to this point to be confined to shopping for baby things. 'Loved your belly pics! I laughed about what you said about your shirt that day. I always seem to think to take belly shots when my hair needs washing, I have no make-up on and I'm wearing something frumpy! - April

Lol. Yeah my hair was clean, just had been through quite a day of shopping, car washing, etc. And yes I always seem to get pictures taken while wearing the frumpiest shirt I own. Sigh. Oh well. Pregnancy just isn't all glamor.
