Lol. Yeah my hair was clean, just had been through quite a day of shopping, car washing, etc. And yes I always seem to get pictures taken while wearing the frumpiest shirt I own. Sigh. Oh well. Pregnancy just isn't all glamor.

All the pics sent today, everybody looks terrific and healthy. I'm just teary eyed of how far we have all gotten. Far as any symptoms lately, I'm experiencing achy hips and sore south bone! I have a check up tomorrow to see whats going on down south! I thought they check when we have 2 weeks left, were i have 4 weeks. I'm also starting to get brown patches on my cheeks. It's a silly new look for me, but I'll take it just for Hannah! Erica

That is so funny that you have the same shirt Erica! I got it at Kohl's. Hopefully I didn't diss like your favorite shirt or something, hehe. I've actually seen another woman wearing it, too, at Red Lobster. For an ugly shirt it's sure popular. I guess now was just the week for belly pics-- lots of beautiful bellies going on! I can't wait to see pictures of Monica's babies. An achy bone down south sounds like a good thing! Maybe little Hannah will get here a bit early. Of course, if not, then you'll be nice and uncomfortable for a while. It's all worth it though! Anybody else finding yourself getting extremely stiff if you've been sitting for any length of time? Those first few steps are murder on my poor hips and round ligaments! I waddle and moan and groan, lol. DH says I sound and look like an old woman. To which I tell him that when he has a 5 pound human being plus placenta and amniotic fluid crammed inside an organ that is usually the size of a pear in his belly he can talk to me about how I move. Annnyyyywayyy I am cooking up some steaks for dinner. Woohoo! Red meat! Yes!!!!!! It's a nice day to fire up the grill here in Texas!

Lol Sarah- It's so not my favorite, but it fits the belly for now!! I think my mother in law got it from Motherhood. It's actually cold a s**t here in Maryland and I just cooked a steak in our broiler! Horrible but it was delicious and quick! Texas is the place to be for delicious fired up steaks! I've been groaning like I'm a 90 yr old women when I bend over to pick toys up, I need a toy grabber, and wearing slippers these days is so relieving then tying shoes! Have a good evening! Erica

Good evening girls. Just got my poor sick DD to be. She's on day 4 of the flu (strain A, which our flu shots were supposd to prevent. Actually I think it has helped b/c it's not as bad as other people's I've talked to. Nonetheless, she's not feeling well at all.) I had my NST today, and little Reece did wonderfully. I also had my GBS test and first cervical check. Guess what??? I am 80% effeced and 1 1/2 cm dialated!!!! She said some women can walk around like that for 3 weeks, but given my history it could literally be any time now. She'd really like me to go another week and a half, but if labor starts they won;t stop it at this point. I'm pretty much ready here at home (minus the need to clean the bathrooms, vacuum, adn dust), but at school I have a project I need to get done this weekend so it's ready for my sub. My OB asked that I not do any strenuous activities; no marathon shopping trips etc. I have my last baby shower tomorrow after school then one last trip to Babies R Us to finish off the necssities I don;t have/get. Holy cow! I can't be\lieve the time is so close. As for those shooting cervical pains...that's what will dialate and efface you. Baby is putting pressure on the spot to get you ready. :) I've been feeling a lot of those too, along with the BH. My next appt is next Wed. Have a good evening ladies.

Hey everyone! CONGRATS MONICA!!!!! I sure hope little Shelby gets to come home with you soon!!! Wow guys , i notice a trend with you guys that your all doing NST's and cervical checks.. Im at 36wks and i havnt had any of this..my OB just feels my belly to figure out where im at as far as baby dropping and how big he feels. I see him again on Tues. I know i wont get any u/s unless he thinks theres a problem. SARAH - i hear you on getting up and feeling achey and pains in my groin/pelvis! It takes a good minute to straighten my legs and start walking properly! lol. DH just laughs at me! I still have another 2 weeks of work left but its not so bad as its just working from home....only annoying thing is the staying awake all day long and being mentally with it!! In the last week, ive noticed a icky feeling down below...same kinda sensation as the pap smear on your cervix...so i am a__suming bubs is bumping around down there....not sure if that means im dropping. I cant tell! I still cant even tell the BH's!! i keep thinking its probably just the baby moving around and sticking his bum out that makes me feel like its a BH! ahaha. Oh well...as long as the little sweetheart makes his entrance in say...mmmm...2 weeks....id be so happy! I really want him coming before my due date as i just am so ready now!!! I also get the occa__sional shooting pains these days, but i figured they were stretching pains like i used to get in 1st Tri (seeing as the baby doubles size during last Tri)Im seeing my reflexologist every 2 weeks, and next time i see her (in about 10 days) shes gonna do the oils and pressure points that all pregnancy she has avoided....the ones to bring on contractions and stimluate the uterus etc. hehehe...hopefully that might help nature along a little!

Did i forget to mention that im also suffering severe case of snoring these days (for past few weeks)....i never used to snore!!! Now its so loud and bad, i WAKE MYSELF UP!!!!! its sooo frustrating. And i cant even wear earplugs as i hear it internally! Did i ever mention how i am so ready to have this baby! LOL

Hey all, Monica sent me pics of the twins so i will forward to Sarah so she can send them. Shane is already home and Shelby has a 4 -7 day stay in the NICU i havent spoke with Monica yesterday so i dont know any updates on Shelby except for what she posted in her in email. Do any of you have like a bruising feeling in your inner thighs and hoo-hah? I have had it for weeks feels like i have been punched there a bazillion times its worse at night when i am trying to get up to pee a bazillion times. CHRIS i have been getting internals for weeks now and even said to the OB even with a scheduled c-section you have to do this? He said yep gotta see if theres a chance your going to go in to labor. The internal itself never hurt but man afterwards the BH contractions are awful its almost within minutes they start i have to go again Monday UGGH but this could very well be my last appt except for a possible biophysical to see how the amniotic fluid is doing. Getting nervous 10 days and my little man is here. OH Erica you look great love the pics of your daughter kissing your belly. BRANDY you look great also. I need to take a final pic and send them Sarah i promise i will do that this weekend.

Robyn thats so weird.. I thankfully DO NOT have to have internals.. unless I complain of pressure or contractions. Nor do I have to do the group b strep test. I just go.. we do the hb and bp check and Im off to the rodeo. Its so funny how things differ from doctor to doctor. Im going to go and check my email for these pictures you all speak of. ~Kristin~

Kristin I have the group b strep test today. How is your lo doing? I've notice that there is less movement and night seems to be her play time. I'm praying she is going to be a sleeper during the nights. Thanks Robyn, although that was a bad pic and I notice cobwebs on the ceiling. Their gone now I noticed it real well in that pic! I hope to send another when edd arrives. I feel that bruising as well, just hang in there you have little time left. Your going to be a momma soon!! Can't wait to see Monica with her twins! Chris- I'm sorry your snoring, that's crazy your waking yourself up! Hope your snoring days are numbered soon. My dh has a bad snoring problem, but when he turns to his side it usually stops. Hey all Monica just called they are home they got home last night Shelby like i mentioned will remain in the NICU but they said shes doing great and they should be able to hold her tomorrow. So she will hopefully come home next week. She said Shane was up pretty much every hour last night because he was hungry so shes no longer gonna b/f its too hard on her and hes not getting enough and plus if she has this with one baby whats it gonna be like with 2 and her nips are bleeding so shes in a lot of pain from this. The formula is sustaining him and hes sleeping alot more from it. So thats the latest update. KRISTIN - as we know all OBs are different look how bad Duckie has been treated it makes me sick to see how bad patients are treated out there i am very fortunate to have wonderful doctors. ERICA - good luck on your testing today it didnt hurt at all it was like a 1 second swab i didnt even know he did it but it was done v____ally for me and it came back negative. I didnt notice the cobwebs LOL. CHRIS - i am such a snorer my DH records it on my cell phone for me so i can hear what i sound like its lovely LOL

Erica: I didnt see any cobwebs at all.. thats funny that you did. Your belly pic was so cute.. I love the one of your dd kissing your belly its sweet! Sounds like Hannah is doing wonderfully in there.. which has gotta be a great thought.. shell be here soon.. your due date is 27 days away.. how does that make you feel inside. I know its been up and down I just wonder how its doing. I feel good that Monica didnt push herself to b___st feed.. it doesnt work for everyone and its not worth it to make your days miserable over it. Thats one of the reasons I love formula so much, it satisfies the baby so much faster and easier. GIRLS when you have your bh or a contraction do you feel it down in your.. crotch area. It sends kind of like a shooting sharp like pain into my b___t and my crotch.. its not a good feeling.. just wondering who else is feeling this. Anyway.. im off to get dressed.. im going to buy Kayden is coming home from the hossy outfit!! ~Kristin~

Kristin: I've gotten the same shooting pains on occasion, though my b/h have been mild and erratic. Sarah: I hear ya on the stiffness. My muscles and joints feels achy in the morning and when it's cold outside, especially. Erica: Your pics are great! I love the one with dd kissing your belly! Chris: I don't know if I've been snoring, but dh's allergies are acting up which has him snoring like crazy! This is not conducive to going back to sleep when awakened by having to pee and carpal tunnel. New thing: I have been wearing flip flops, no matter what the weather these days. They're easy to slip on and don't constrict my feet, which have started to swell a bit. Lil' Jack has been making some BIG movements lately. Sometimes I swear it's like he's trying to come out my right side, tushie first! lol. - April

Aw shucks no ap today because dr had a labor call! Imagine that! So it's rescheduled til the 12th and I think I can live with that. If I mention baby to Alexis she pulls up my shirt and gives kisses, it's so sweet but she also like to poke hard at it to! Kristin, gosh those pains suck, are you laying low? I noticed my b___t hurts as all of her weight is pinching the nerves. I have a big workweek ahead of me and the one after it then off to maternity leave yea!! I'm in searching for new job because I don't want to wait tables for the rest of my life. I'm trying to work into the health care field but it's hard since I'm haven't completed all my college credits. Decisions, decisions! Erica

Man, there's not a lot of action on here today! I all of a sudden got in a really irritable mood about an hour ago - no reason, just out of nowhere started feeling REALLY annoyed about everything. I guess that's the hormones, or at least I hope it is! I walked on the treadmill, and it made me feel a little less like scratching everyone's eyes out. Monday, I'm supposed to go walk with a girl I met in yoga. She said she normally goes 3 miles, and I haven't walked 3 miles in at least 3 weeks, so I'm a bit nervous about keeping up.
