Sims1 - I have the worst time getting to sleep too. It was so bad Saturday night that I called in Sunday because I was so tired. Laying flat, sitting up .. neither works. Then when I lay on my side like I'm supposed to, my leg gets all numb and hurts. Well Jaira - looks like we are going to be bedrest buddies after all. My doctor is giving me 2 to 4 weeks more of work, tops, and then I'm on bedrest. Also, I found out I may have to have my csection around 36 or 37 weeks, putting me at the end of April now, depending on if my placenta is still covering the cervix at my next u/s next week. So of course, I'm pushing for 4 more weeks of work so I can get as much commission as possible. I'll be paid my base rate at 100%, but my commission is something that I've kind of grown used to lol. i took my glucose test today & apparently they have upgraded to a less thick drink. It was fruit punch, but I still chugged it in about 5 seconds so I didn't have to taste it. The nurse swears it was a new record lol.

RMC bedrest stinks. So enjoy your time while you can. If baby hasn't come by 36-37 weeks prior to cerclage removal, I have a feeling that she'll come immediately afterward. So we could be looking at a late April birth as well. I'm just hoping to make it that far.

RMC that stinks about the bedrest. Congrats on the record though! lol. Reneenay if you try out that wedge let me know how it works out for you... I miss sleep. Chatty thats great about the 3d ultrasound!!!! You are lucky! I hope all goes well!!! well it has happened.... those unwanted red lines have now started invading my tummy. I noticed them yesterday. They were not there Sunday but Monday hello tell tale there they were. Light but they are there. Yup my belly has grown 2" in one week! One week!!!!!!!!! No wonder they popped up!! Lil Victoria must be having a growth spurt cause I am sooo freaking uncomfy right now. She doesnt kick as much as she did a few weeks ago but when we did the u/s last week it looked like she was running out of space. There was hardly any black behind her. Yup Sims I feel like a weeble too. Okay sorry enough complaining from me...lol. How is everyone else feeling?? Sleeping??? Hop e you all have a wonderful day!

So, I went to my appointment yesterday and finally my placenta decided to move out of the way! lol, but my l/o is still breech, the doctor says she still has a lot of time to turn around so I'm not worried about that, I'm just happy that at least for now the c-section is not an option. I'm going to Florida for a couple of days next week to see my family so I asked my ob for his OK and he said no problem and gave me the certificate yay!! So it'll be nice to be out even if its for a couple of days -- haven't seen them in a while so I'm really looking forward to that. Jairia what a scare, its amazing how stupid some "health professionals" can be..I'm not able to sleep very much lately, between backpain, heartburn, having to go to the bathroom every half hour for nothing the dog barking and my DH snoring, by the time I can get some what comfy I have to get up to go to work..but now I know I'm not the only one ---but remember, this too shall pa__s!!! Belly rubs to all!!

Good Morning everyone, just checking to see how everyone is doing. It seems like our l/o are doing pretty Good, but what about us. Well for me I haven’t been able to sleep it seems like every night about 2am my l/o is up and moving around for about an hour. Jairia, I am so happy your l/o is staying put.....RMC I hope you don’t have to be put on bed rest, but I guess whatever it takes to keep you and baby safe. Ok ChattyKathy, you inspired me to get a 3d/4d ultrasound I had an appointment 2/18, but I canceled it, so I am going to reschedule. Belly~Rubs~To~All

Hi, ladies. I spent last night in L&D. I started having abdominal pain and back pain at 1:30. I tried to time them to see if it was contractions, but I noticed the pain lasted too long and there was hardly any break inbetween. Nothing was helping, so at 5pm when it got to where I couldn't even lay down I decided it was time to head in to the hospital. The nurse said they weren't "contractions" because that involves a tightening and releasing, but my uterus was "quivering" which was why the pain was constant. I received two shots of something while I was at the hospital before being released. The pain was still there, but they said my uterus had quieted down. I ended up falling asleep and spent the rest of the night being woken up by pain (especially if I moved around) so I tried to lay still on my left side and whenever I'd wake up throughout the night I tried to eat a little something (I hadn't had dinner) and get more fluids in. I'm feeling alright today, but my stomach is a little sore. Luckily I have that ultrasound appt which I was told to keep and that i'd be able to talk to the doctor afterwards.

Jairia - February 27

Kathy, I'm glad it wasn't labor and that you're home. I know how scary going to the hospital can be. How far along are you? I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It seems as though your l/o should be fine if they released you. Keep us posted...

RMC - February 27

chattykathy - How scary! I'm glad it wasn't something that resulted in you being hospitalized. I'm still trying to finalize my actual date for bedrest ): I'm hoping I can push it out to 4 weeks instead of 2, but I guess I'll find out on the 12th. Dh is kind of sketchy on me going to my baby shower now, because it will be like 1 week before my csection since I'm doing it way earlier now. He dsn't want me walking around the park if I'm supposed to be on bedrest ): So I see where he's coming from, but I'm still bummed about it. lucky diamond - I have the same sleep issues! I just can't stay comfortable! And my one year old still wakes up during the night 2 or 3 times so I'm like a zombie at work! sarahnicolesmom - I'm glad your placenta moved for you. I'll find out for certain on the 4th, that's my next u/s, but mine has been covering it more instead of moving away so I have little faith that it will correct itself at this point. wv_red- I swear to you, I chugged that drink without taking a breath lol. Jaira - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you to make it to 37 weeks.

reneenay - February 27

Chatty, that's a very strange thing. I'm glad it ended okay. Well, as for me, I'm starting to feel a lot more top heavy. I'm totally waddling and my back and feet hurt. We have a pillow-top mattress, which I've read isn't the best during pregnancy. It takes me so long to get out of bed! But any other time it's really comfy. Sims1, oddly enough the whole belly weight while sleeping on my side hasn't started to bug me yet. Maybe it's the pillow top? Not sure. But I'm totally uncomfortable in every other way when it comes to laying in bed and getting some sleep. I'm a total insomniac. Last night I was up from 2:30 to 6:00. It's horrible! I just lay there. Almost every night is like that. But anyway, I'm waiting for the results of my 3 hour blood glucose test. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I really don't like the thought of going low carb. My next appointment is tomorrow so hopefully they'll let me know the results then. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Kathy: I'm glad you are OK; what a scare it must have been. Try to take it easy this w-e. I've had a few times incredibly painful backpain; it started around Christmas and usually lasts only 10-15 minutes. But about a month ago, it lasted for 7 hours non stop. I was at work, was basically paralized by pain; I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. I called my ma__sage therapist and he took me the same night. He told me that one of my vertebre has rotated on itself because of the weight of the belly. He was able to fix it almost instantly. The pain came back last night around 2 AM, lasted for about 2 hours. It leaves me completely drained when it leaves. During the time that I was in pain, and not knowing for how long it was going to last this time, I was thinking about you ladies! I was thinking about Jaira, in the hospital, about Ashley who's had the worst luck, and about all of you, who truly are an inspring bunch! It gave me courage and helped me to try to relax and to breathe!

Jairia - February 28

Okay, the sciatic nerve pain has become unbearable. As if being in the hospital wasn't already enough, now this starts. I've had to use a walker for the past two days. Later today, a physical therapist is supposed to come see me. I've taken Vicodin and tylenol with codine, but neither have brought any relief. Just getting up to go to the bathroom takes my breath away and leaves me wincing in pain. It's gotten to the point where just turning from one side to the other has become rough. Hopefully, the physical therapist can do something to make this stop. I don't know if I can truly do this for 6-8 more weeks....

ChattyKathy - February 28

The info I've gotten says that it could be a sign of an "irritable uterus". I hope not, because that would put me at risk for preterm labor. So, I'm definitely going to watch my stress level and fluid intakes for the remainder of my pregnancy. I'm 27 weeks now, just barely in the third trimester. Baby cant come this early! Hopefully it was just a freak occurence and wont happen again. --- JAIRIA, I'm sorry to hear about the pain. You could try laying on the side that hurts more often (sounds strange, but laying on the opposite side actually hurt my more) or getting a nice soft pillow to sit on. Watch the angle you're laying at, if you can help it. Maybe try moving your legs into a different positions to see if that helps. I know you're limited by the terms of your bedrest, but I hope you can find something that helps. Your little one is very lucky to have a mommy willing to go through so much for her safety.

RMC - February 28

Jaira - poor thing! Not only are you cooped up in the hospital but now the nerve pain? Yeah, vicodin and tylenol do nothing at all for me either, I don't even bother to take them. It seems like nothing works.

ChattyKathy - February 29

bumping us up. Hope everyone is doing well!

wv_red - February 29

Hi ladies figured I would drop by and say hey! How is everyone doing??? Jairia thats a bummer about the nerve pain, i get it too but i am not stuck in a bed all the time, man that sucks. I am going for mine tomorrow and they told me to eat something that will make my baby move more... Any help with that??? I mean I am going in at 9:30 so i dont know what I can eat that will make her move around a bunch.... Chatty I hope evrything works out for you, What ahas your doctor said about the irratable uterus and your lil hospital scare? Get some rest this weekend. I hope it works out. How is every one else doing??? I

reneenay - February 29

Red, when I got the 4D done, they told me to bring either apple or orange juice. That usually gets them moving. Have fun! It's the best. I have decided to go back one more time in about a month.
