Alright ladies, for most of you, the time is coming up this weekend, yay! Lets see who is the next one to deliver their bundle of joy!

junebaby - April 29

I am actually due June 1st but have already been told by my ob I will either naturally go early or be induced in may so Ima consider myself a may mommy i guess-kinda makes the name Junebaby off but oh well. I am probably just getting myself excited for nothing but I feel like Im going to go any day. I see my OB tomorrow and find out when Ill be induced if I dont. Hopefully soon cuz I am miserable!!! I feel like a blimp and can barely walk now! Baby dropped and my hips feel like teyre gonna break off

kay101 - April 29

LOL I get bored so I read all the posts but I'm due June 1st too, but he *should* be here may 5th

laurenn11 - April 29

june baby - If you dropped already sounds like you are well on your way. I walked another 6 miles today - that is 19 miles in the last 5 days. Knowing that I am 95 % effaced and 2cm dilated I am trying to kick start the labor. I was getting a ton of contractions today. Most BH but some were like bad period cramps. Now she is really quiet. Also I was sooooo emotional today. I felt like I could cry over anything. I am going through a lot (we recently found out my mom has terminal cancer through out her body) but it was far worse then what I have experienced throughout my entire pregnancy. I do not know if this is a pre labor symptom. I cleaned my whole house and my husband asked me if if I am nesting. I do not think I am; I am simply having a bunch of people over tomorrow for a lunch meeting. I do not know, part of me thinks I am going to go into labor in the next few days and the other part of me thinks it is wishful thinking. I hope everyone is doing great. I can't wait to hear everyones labor stories

junebaby - April 29

Lauren-How the heck do you do it? I cant walk 10 feet w/o feeling like im dying!!! Thats amazing I want to walk to progress things but my feet swell so bad I cant and my back wont let me. I am dilated to a 2 too and 70% effaced. It sounds to me like you are very close I have lost all of my nesting urges lately I am lazy now.. But I am emotional everyday! I watch A Baby Story daily and cry my eyes out!! I cried yesterday b/c I stepped on my cats tail!! I also cry when I read that women on here have their babies b/c Im so jealous (sad i know)

Rachel H - April 29

Yay, a new thread! So, I'm 36 weeks today and I have my appointment on Thursday. My doc is going to check and see if I'm dilated, and it would be soooooo nice to hear, "Yes, you're dilated." ;)

RMC - April 30

junebaby and kay101- I was actually not due til May 21, but I knew I was having a csection April 23. I stayed in the May mommies, though, and you guys are more than welcome (: Lauren 11 - holy c___p you've walked 19 miles in 5 days? I can barely walk up and down the stairs without wanting to pa__s out! Lol ... you are a trooper! Rachel - hope you hear good news at the appt.

wv_red - April 30

Hi ladies, great name for the thread!! Ok we are ready to start popping them out!!! lol! I guess I shouldnt of said anything about not having acid reflux cause I will be darned if I wasnt up half the d__n night last night with it! It was horrible!!! Between the extremely painful hip pain yesterdxay to the heartburn/acid c___p last night I may of been luck to get 3 hours of rest. Cg, I think the contractions have pretty well stopped either that or I just cant feelthem anymore. I wonder what caused it to do that? Weird... That is great that you are stil growing!! yay!! Ok ladies serious question here! Does anyone else feel like something is stabbing you in the whohaa???? I am walking funny as can be cause it hurts!! What the heck! Well all have a good day! Welcome junebaby and kay.

Sims1 - April 30

Hi Ladies!! I had my ob appt yesterday, i'm in my 37th week and i found this really peculiar. my ob gave be the swab to do the gbs test, he gave me instructions on what to do and drop it off at the lab which is downstairs from his office. i felt that was wierd because i thought he would do an internal exam to see if i'm dilated or effaced etc. is that strange or is it normal?? i was a bit diappointed because i wanted to see if there was any progression, but then again maybe he's just waiting till i complete my 37th week?! what i also hate is everytime he measures my belly he keeps saying 'oooooh big baby, big baby we might have to consider a c section'. i don't mind him saying these things but i don't like that he doesn't just sit me down and have a chat withme about what to expect. grrr, some dr's suck. but i'm so close to the end, i'm not changing now...just know better for next time.

junebaby - April 30

Well I go see my Ob in an hour. Im already dilated to 2 70% effaced so we'll see if there's any change. I woke up today feeling like you do on the first day of your period where you are cramping hard and your whole body feels awful-so that's always fun! And Sims-That would annoy the c___p outta me if my Ob did that too. And WV I jump randomly b/c I feel like he is taking his nails and running them across my hooha like a freakin chalkboard so you're def not alone! Hope everyone has a good day

ChattyKathy - April 30

KAY, why is your baby coming May 5th? Thats an entire month early, he'll be considered premature! SIMS, not to go against medical advice but i really would be cautious about that doctor. Your belly measurements really don't indicate too terribly much about the size of your baby, and even if you got an ultrasound those measurements could be off. I wouldn't go jumping right for a c-section unless you want it. Theres no reason to believe you NEED it based on measurements alone. RED, lol it sounds like the baby is starting to drop and putting more pressure on your cervix. It hurts! Sometimes I find myself holding my stomach as I walk (you know, like you see some women do in labor) just so the pressure isn't so much. Yeouch!

Sims1 - April 30

oh ya for sure Chatty i agree, i'm not putting too much stalk into what he says. and he too has said that he'll let it go natural but he if things don't progress he'll know why, and just wants both myself and him to know that a c section might have to be the extreme end solution. the c section threats don't really phase me, its just the way he won't sit talk to me about it once and for all like two adults would. i think he's just used to women comign to him who are clueless and he just has gotten used to talking a certain way. but i keep myself quite educated about these things so i just wish he would give me some of that respect. but seriously i go to his office and feel drained everytime i enter so i haven't had that chat with him. i don't care anymore, i figure chances of him being the one that actually delievers my baby is pretty small lol. but ya i'm not worried, i'm thinking he'll be around 8 pounds which is totally doable. i think it's just me that's been eating a lot of sweet food lately and gaining wieght LOL

RMC - April 30

I had that same pain in my hoohaa. But for me, it seemed like only when I stepped with my left foot it would go shooting through. Ouch, it does hurt. Kay - are you just thinking the baby will come early, or are you being induced or something? sims1 - I was measuring 39 weeks when I was 35, and I was thinking the baby was gonna weigh 7 or 8 pounds at 36 weeks because I was so big, but he ended up only weighing 5 lbs 11 oz, so don't let the dr scare ya (: junebaby - any news? Red - poor thing. I remember those days of not being able to get comfy to sleep and now I don't sleep because my newborn and my 1 year old have somehow synced up and they wake up at the exact same time during the night! But they sleep in 2 different rooms, I think it's crazy lol. The baby will wake up and then I'll hear the 1 year old in the monitor.

wv_red - April 30

RMC when are you gonna post some pictures of your lil boy??? I am dying to see him!! Sims sounds like you have a winner for a doc, lol. As long as your lil one is delivered healthy and he doesnt screw that up then he pa__ses. Yeah I love how doctors treat you like an idiot. Its like on some stuff its like ok give me more credit then that please! Kathy yeah I defiantly lift the belly too!!! I have noticed i have dropped even more today then what I was yesterday, now my tummy is pretty much half way between my les when I sit down. So much for being lady like right!!! Yeah I havent closed my legs in prob a few months. lol. I was hoping that the pain down there meant that something was happening! Darn. I get to get checked again Friday so we will see if anything at all has started. I do know one thing those checks are really uncomfy! Well Ladies UFC is starting so I am going to go watch my show! TTYL!

kay101 - April 30

I've got an amnio to check to make sure his lungs are developed Monday, then I have to wait a few hours for the results. As long as it comes back positive I'll be having a cinco de mayo baby (by repeat c-section) so I thought I'd pop in and say hi since I may be asking some of you infant questions in the future. I'll deliver a good bit earlier than everyone in my June thread so I might need some newborn advice while I wait for them to join the deflated belly club :D I've already had steroid shots for his lungs and he's been measuring 2 weeks ahead by ultrasound for quite a while so they expect him to be around 7 pounds.

ChattyKathy - April 30

KAY, I see. Well, congrats on your May baby and I hope the amnio goes well! I get the feeling that I'll be the last woman to give birth from the May mommies. I'm already due at the end of the month, not dialated. Baby hasn't even dropped. I'm just OUT. Gavin seems perfectly content to stay put, but I don't want an induction (although believe me, I'm already considering all my options because I'd prefer to have him in May instead of june) So, I guess for now I'll be doing squats or something. I can't even walk long distances because I get leg cramps so horribly!

CgGirl - May 1

Hello ladies! Today is my last day of work and I'm soooooooooooo happy! Due date is next Friday, yeah! ChattyKathy: my baby has just dropped in the last week. I can drop in a matter of an hour when the time comes, so that's not an indication. wv_red: I read (probably on this site :-)) that babies will punch the cervix in order to make it softer for D day... thay may be what you feel. I feel it too, fun isnt' it??? Junebaby: how did your appointment go? My bum and thighs are really sore. I thought with the baby dropping I would have less stomach problems, but no, it's just as bad. And now, I also have to go pee every 2 minutes!!! I woke up last night being nauseous and thought that it could be time to go... false alert I guess. Still getting tons of BH, so hopefully, they indicate progress. Got an u/s tomorrow... Hope everyone is doing good!
