Hey ladies! Sorry to hear everyone is feeling c___ppy, but at least you're all nearing the end, Yay! My sister in law was due last Friday, the 2nd, but no baby yet. They were going to induce her and then she started having contractions, so they decided against it, but then they stopped, so now she's sitting at work, 41 weeks, miserable. Renee - csections are scary, yes, but since I have experienced both v____al and a csection (4 actually) I would take the csection anyday! I'm about a week and a half post recover y and moving around pretty well. The only thing that is still painful is getting out of bed sometimes. But my recovery went pretty quick and smooth. I do hope the baby turns for you though if you're really hoping to avoid that. chatty - remember too that most hospitals send you home with diapers and stuff too. I came home with all the newborn diapers I hadn't used, plus a pack of 20, wipes, and about 16 of the little formula bottles and nipples they give you in the hospital. Plus a diaper bag full of stuff too. Good luck all!

I'm hoping to get some freebies, but we have two hospitals here and all my friends delivered at the other one, so I really don't know what to expect from this one! I'm trying to come up with a list of what to pack, but I'm one of those that either forgets all the important stuff or I pack WAY too much. I really don't want to look like I'm trying to move in the hospital! Does anyone know of a website that gives a good checklist of what to pack?

Hello everyone! Reneenay: I hope the water was good for you! It's amazing to see how many things water can actually help with in pregnant women! RMC: glad you are feeling better. How's the newborn? CHattyKathy: I'm surprised that you are getting stretch marks this late in your pregnancy... Well ladies, as for me, I am 39 1/2 weeks and seeing the OB tomorrow... hopefully she checks my cervix (which she hasn't yet) and there is some good news! I have been having a ton of contractions, so hopefully, that's a good sign!

ugh! my due date is tomorrow, and this is starting to seem like a bad joke. i had my bloody show over 3 weeks ago now, so i was thinking it would be any day, and he would come in april. since then, i have had false labor 2x, and contractions everyday. i went to the midwife again today, and he has dropped lower, but i am still only 1.5cm and 50% effaced. if i dont deliver by next monday, we will schedule an induction, but i hope it doesnt come to that. i feel like i am dying! i want him out now!!!

Hi ladies! Well, I didn't even end up doing the head stands in the pool. My Dr has concluded that this baby isn't going to turn no matter what. So it looks like we are going to make to my c-section date too. I haven't had any BH contractions or anything. I just sort of feel like I'm going to start my period every day, just like junebaby. And don't worry junebaby, that's totally normal. Oh and it's totally normal to spot after being checked too, Rachel H. So I went to my week 38 appointment today and my Dr. didn't even check me. She highly doubts I'll go into labor before the c-section scheduled for the 15th. That's a week from Thursday! Ahhh! I'm getting a little nervous and excited. The b___terflies in the tummy are in full effect! CgGirl, it sounds like you are very close! I'm so excited for you! Can't wait to see the pics on facebook! Kate_, I'm sorry you're feeling anxious...I can't blame you! But one way or the other, it's bound to happen sooner rather than later! It won't be long now. Can't wait to see who's next!

Thanks RMC, I have accepted the whole c-section thing and am looking forward to not having to be in labor for hours...my Dr. performs VBAC's so maybe I'll get to experience it next time around. I'm glad to hear you are feeling pretty good after a week and a half. I know I'll feel sore and c___ppy afterwards but I will have the best prize of all! At least I'm not getting a tumor removed ;-)

reneenay- well that's good your doctor does vbacs so at least you can experience regular labor later if you want to. At least you know next Thursday you'll be holding your baby, yay! CgGirl - baby is good, spoiled already. How can a week and a half old possibly prefer sleeping in the bed to the ba__sinet already? Lol ... I don't know, but somehow he does. kate - Hopeuflly something will kick start for you soon. My sister in law ended up having to get induced today since her due date came and went on Friday.

Hi ladies! How is everyone? Looks like a few of you are getting closer to delivering yay!!! Renee next week, wow. That is good news that your doc does vbac's, countdown for the big day for you! RMC I couldnt get the pictures to work :( it said it was set to private and kept asking me for a pa__sword, maybe I am having a repeated pregnancy brain fart and I am doing it wrong which is extrememly likely. Well I hope you have a big bed since he has decided he wants to sleep with you now, lol. That is funny :) A week and a half already wow. I am now finished with work woo hoo. My last day was friday and I ended up getting a doc note cause they were going to try to make me work this week! That wasnt happening. Cervix is still closed, booo but I am softening up really well , lol so hopefully this friday will bring good news. Cg I cant beleive your doctor isnt checking you at all. I thought it was pretty routine to be checked every appointment after 36 wks. It would be nice for you to know where you are at especailly since you are almost 40 wks. Kate I hope you go soon , I wouldnt want to be in your shoes at all. Lots of s_x and walking!!! Thats what my doc told me walk walk walk and have lots of s_x. Thats pretty embarra__sing having someone tell you to do it alot. Chatty sorry about the strech marks. They are not fun, and nothing stops em. It seems like evrytime she rolls or streches a new one appears and from where I am so pale they are defiantly noticeable. I hope you dont get anymore. Also I posted a web site on your post for your bag. Its a very good list too!! Well ladies has a good tuesday. I wonder how Kays l/o is doing? TTYL!!!

wv_red - sorry about that, I don't use photobucket too much. I just made it public. So if you search for tinkerbell1979 and then click on it when it says are you looking for user tinkerbell1979, then it will take you to my album. Kate - I hope labor is in your near future! My sil has been in the hospital since yesterday and they are inducing her, but she is still only 1cm, so needless to say, she's miserable (:

I have a friend who was barely 2cm when she got induced. Everyone figured that her labor would last all day, but a few hours later she was already pushing! So, there's hope for your SIL! -- I am 37 weeks today, so considered full term! I can't believe it. My BF's sister began contracting at 37 weeks all the way up until her 38th week when they induced her. Its strange to think that some women have their babies now. I still think I'm going to go over my due date (boo) but its exciting to think about... the end is near! But for today I have to do some packing. Needless to say, I REALLY don't feel up to it today but I must! The apartment is a mess right now because everything is thrown everywhere!

Good morning ladies! Kate_: I hope it means there is progress for you. Please keep us posted! Well, my due date is Friday. I'm only 25% effaced and 1cm dilated... all those contractions for almost nothing!!! The OB said she didn't think the baby was coming this week because of the position of my cervix (she said it's at the back, but I'm not sure what that means). Anyway, I'll think I'll start to walk and to do some squatting. Reneenay: I have a feeling that you'll be having your bundle of joy before me!!!!
