Men! ugh! My husband has been misbehaving a little bit too. I have to ask him like 50 times to do something! Then he gets mad at me because he says I nag him too much! I wouldn't nag him if he would do what I asked him to the first time! Grrr He spends most of his time playing video games! He is too old for that!!!! He like ignores me when he's playing his games, he zones out! He only reacts when I stand in front of the TV and block his view! Grrr I have gotten most things done thanks to my friends who come to help me!!! Well at least he does things if I annoy him enough... better than nothing I guess..

This baby is never coming out! I am BARELY a fingertip dialated, which I guess is some progress since last week but MY GOD! At this rate I wont have him until I'm 42 weeks! I was so upset, but I went to walmart and bought some things we'll need for the bag like travel sized deodorant and stuff so I'm not running around the apartment trying to get those types of things in there while in labor. So, thats good. I pretty much have everything ready... I just need him to be ready! oh and RED, toxoplasmosis is more of a risk for outdoor cats, so if hubby refuses to clean the litter box, its okay if you do it as long as your cat isn't around any outdoor animals or goes outside itself. I'd still wear gloves and put something around your nose/mouth just to be safe, though.

Hey ladies, I know I have barely posted on here, I come on every now and then to check things out..I hope everybody is doing good : ) I really need to vent lol...I am due on May 20th, but feel like I am ready to go now..my feet are soo swollen, I am sooo frustrated with my doctor..I am 38 weeks and 2 days in and she tells me my baby seems big, but will not estimate a size, and if she is soo big why is she letting me go further? : ( She hasn't even done a cervix exam at any appt yet...I have GD and go to my hospital for Bio Physicals every week and the baby seems really healthy and active, the nurse says everything looks great but says the baby is a pretty good size..yikes! I want to go now LOL

A baby being a bit bigger isn't horrible, even though it sounds like a big ouch, but the fact that its bigger probably because of your GD makes me wonder why they haven't talked about induction, too. Lots of docs would especially since you made it to 38 weeks. I don't know... I'd probably ask your doctor about that because it seems like thats what a lot of docs would do. Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time!

Pink - If the baby was going to be too big where they thought you couldn't handle it, I don't think they would let you keep going. 38 weeks is considered term, so if it was going to be huge, I'd think they'd deliver you now, so try not to worry too much. chatty - only a fingertip? whew, labor is a looong process, I hope it speeds up for you here soon. That's why I love my csections though (: Mely - sigh, men and video games. I think they all do that. Do they ever grow up?

i want to cry so badly, i feel so miserable. my back hips, the pressure feels like it's splitting my pelvis... everythign is aching, i can't do anything during the day, i haven't been talking to anyone during the day, FINALLY dh noticed that i've had no interaction all day and just sit here watching tv cuz i can't freakin do anything. and he's trying to make it up he got this morning and gave me a hug and kiss while i was still sleeping i really love him for finally taking notice. he too admitted yesterday with the move and house and lal the busy-ness that he forgot that we're having a baby lol. but still ladies i can't hang in there anymore. i feel so miserable, i want the baby out. this just can't go on any longer..........thanks for letting me vent.... :... (

Dang hit the wrong b___ton. But whenever you get a chance Kay look forward to hearing more about your lil boy. Well ladies I just got back from the doctors and still closed up tight. Not what I wanted to hear. Dh asked her how big she was now and the doc didnt hesitate to say 8 easy. Yup got a big lil girl. She said hopefully she will come before she gets too big. Yeah my biggest fear right now is going through umpteen hours of labor to end in a C or them breaking her shoulder or something trying to get her out. Kathy you are making more progress then me so that should make you feel a lil better lol!! at least your doing something!! Cg how are you feeling??? Sims glad you got moved in, whew you gotta be exhausted. Bright side you are finished with work!! Sims I know it may not be too possible but you know I have been thinking about dh and I getting away for maybe a weekend would help me out, maybe it might help you out too. Just a suggestion. Like maybe a bed and breakfast or a cabin , not too far from the hospital but far enough to where you can get out. RMC nope they never grow up, lol. Mine does the whole zone out video game too. Yup hes 32 going on 15. I am making him take me out to dinner for all the c___p he put me through this week!!!! Well ladies have a great FRIDAY!!!!!!! yay!!!!! Oh PInk I agree with the RMC I am sure they wont let your l/o get too big. Kepp us updated :-)

Hello ladies! Today is my due date! At least I know that I will have a baby within the next 10 days (because that's all a due date really means to me right now!!! LOL). Went for an u/s this am and going for an NST tomorrow. Don't know the point of doing these now, but my OB insisted. Everything is fine, it's just a waiting game now. Have been having aches and pains in the v____a and cramps in the very high thighs... weird. Kay: Congratulations! I hope you are doing great and can't wait to hear your story! ChattyKathy: I saw the screen door at my cousin's who has 2 cats (and who has 2 kids) and I think it's the best for us, at least at the beginning. Sims: I hope you feel better in the next few days. Baby is coming soon. Reneenay: I understand the anxiousness for sure! I'm sure everything will be fine though. At least, you know when it's going to happen!

What do you ladies think about getting your membranes stripped? I've heard its one of those things that doesn't help if your body isn't ready for labor. Last week when my doctor checked me she said she "couldn't even get a finger in to strip the membranes" which surprised me because she didn't ask! I never thought I'd get that done, but desperation is beginning to set in. If it really doesn't do any good then I want to tell her not to strip them, but I'm not sure how to bring it up since she wasn't going to ask.

I've heard that the membrane strip helps induce your labor. I would try it if they asked me. I would try anything at this point! I'm soo tired of being pregnant. I feel useless, I can't do anything or go anywhere b/c I get tired easily. I'm looking forward to Monday since hopefully is my last OB appt b/c he told me that if nothing happened by then I would get an induction. So at least I have hope that he's coming out soon. Good Luck to all of you who are just waiting for the big moment like me. At least we won't be pregnant forever!!

Hey Red, a break sounds awesome, but dh came home today focusing all his attention on me. so we had dinner we went to the movies and jsut chit chatted him and i and i finally groomed my eyebrows and moustache LOL. so i'm really greatful that he's being attentive not being so isn't his fault it's just been a really busy couple of weeks with moving etc. i think i just feel really overly emotional due to hormones............my dr isn't checking me yet for effacement or dilation, but i'm guessing i'm closed up tight. i dont' have any bh's and no menstrual like cramps anymore, i'm think this one is going to term plus some. Hey Red, we're due on the same exact day, keep me posted with your symtoms. mine so far are nil, quiet and silent. i'll race you to the finish line lol.

hey cggirl, (clicked on submit too soon), i wish my dr would check me to at least give me that option. i hope he says something at my next appt. although i think it's going to be another waste, all he does is check the size of the stomach and check for heartbeat and my blood pressure and that's about it. i tested positive for gd now and he just shrugged his shoulders....grrrrrr, i wish he was a little more interactive. other than that, i too am desparate and wish there was something i could do.....i don't really care to try epo or the cohoshs or even castor oil.....i don't think they work, i don't think anything would work at this point other than the bag of water breaking or medicinal inducers.
