My Belly Size

I just wanted to say to Lori that I am going through the same thing, I am 35 wks pregnant and measuring 31. I was told it can be the baby's position, or at our stage of pregnancy the baby could be starting to drop down into the pelvis. I was also told that if the heartbeat is strong and the baby has been growing well all along then you shouldn't worry. I'm going for an ultrasound in 2wks just to make sure.

Some women are very toned so when they fall pregnant they only seem to have small abdo's. I would also like to say, i think you are proberly having a girl. my third child was a girl and the bump was hardly noticable.

I am in my 6th month and look like I am in my 7th or 8th month. A lot of people told me they didn't start showing until there 7th month. I think everyone is different.

i am five and half months pregnant, and i barely look pregnant. i look as though i have gained weight, but that is really about all. i haven't had a synogram since i was 8 weeks pregnant, so i have no idea what the baby is weighing in at. i have put on weight, but unfortunately it just makes me look thick, not really pregnant. is this normal?

I think every women is different myn just started to get big at 28 weeks It really doesnt matter how big you are or how much weight you gain for a healthy baby its how you eat and take care of yourself. My mom thinks my belly is too small and worries all the time but thats because its her first grandchild.

Hi? iam six months and looks like 4 months is there any wrong with the baby is he growing ?

Im 29 wks + 2 days pregnant. Since 24 wks my midwife measured my uterus to be over average, however to look at i don't look big. I went for a 28 wk scan last wk where the doctor told me babies growth was normal and everything was fine. I think everyone is different big or small doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong. My advice would be speak to your mid wife or doctor and if they have concerns they will send you for a scan as they did with me and that will set your minds at rest and confirm everything is fine. Good luck to everyone x

When i was three months pregnant i had some bleeding for a couple days and did not told any one. Know i am 6 months should i tell my doctor about this?

Sher - August 17

Marlena, you should always consult your doctor. I had bled too before and I told my doctor the next day. He scheduled me for an ultrasound and found out I had low lying placenta. So now he gave me some restrictions regarding s_x and the types of food to avoid. So if I were you I would tell your doctor of the slightest worries you have.

I am 24 years old. This is my first child but my second pregnancy. The first pregnancy I was 7 mos pregnant when the baby was still born weighing less than a pound and only 9 in long. I am extremely paranoid about this pregnancy. They have tested me for everything and have found no reson to what happened before. This time araound I'm concerned too. My stomach is not that big too me but I do notice the belly a little bit. i'm 23 weeks pregnant and I guess everyone will show when they show. I think that depending on where you're carrying the baby can determine how you'll show.

Monique - August 30
