I am so excited to meet my little one. I go in to see the doc on Monday. Hubby and my mom still think that she is going to come early even though we have a scheduled date for her c section. I dont know bc I am having more pressure and having a hard time doing alot of walking. So I guess we will see. I want to see her so bad, but at the same time I want her to wait for her scheduled date. It is an important date to me and I would love for her to be born that day.
I will be 35 weeks does anyone know when the doc starts seeing you every week? I was thinking that this apt he might tell me that he will see me in a week, but I did not know if he would do it being that I am going to have a scheduled c section.

munchmom, I've been going every week since 28 weeks, so you should definitely be there.
well, ladies, if I haven't gone into labor by thursday, then they're going to strip my membranes and send me to the hospital for some pitocin.
i'm already 3-4, 80% and -1, so i think the midwife thinks that if i go much farther, I could not make it to the hospital.
i really hope I just go in the next couple of days. I'm really over my job at this point, but have to work right up to the day in order to get as much time on the other side as i can.

Wunder- I know how u feel I'm so over my job & I'm only 35 weeks, and working until I have the baby.
Munchmom - I'm still only going every 2 weeks. Like I said I'm 35 weeks. Maybe this will be my last 2 week visit. Must depend on the pregnancy & patient also.

Hey ladies, I have an update........
so I went in for my 2 week today and all is well. Little Noelle is growing well. I also had a prgnancy moment at the office today. Hubby and I were having a deep convo before I got called back. So she told me to go to the bathroom to get a urine sample(normal). So i go to the bathroom still thinking about what hubby and I were talking about. I sat down and just went to the bathroom. I mean I totally forgot to get the sample. Duhh....... I told the nurse I forgot to get it, she said no problem she will get one next time. I was wondering about the swab test since I will be having a scheduled c section. Well I got one today. I did not expect for her to tell me to undress from the waist down. But yeah that happened, also he checked my cervix. So now ladies I am at the see you every week point. I am so happy because it lets you know that you are getting close. I am 35 weeks today.
Ohh yeah hubby and I went across the street to take a tour of labor and delivery. The hospital is so nice, they just built it not too long ago like last year sometime. The rooms are nice and they have little fold out beds for the dads or whoever will be staying with you. They have private rooms, so no sharing for me. They also have a section where the c section moms will be until recovery. I asked many questions bc I am so noisey. Alright ladies well I just thought I would update you ladies on what is going on with me.

I am getting very frustrated! I am getting BH but I believe I am getting contractions as well. I will get a tighening across my belly and it hurts all the way down and often starts in my lower back. Sometimes they are so strong I need to breathe though them. Last night I was getting them every 15 minutes for about 5 hours and then magic, nine o'clock rolls around and nothing. I get one once in a while.
I went to every two weeks at 33 weeks and then at the next appointment 35 weeks I went to every week. I have to say they are the highlight of my week.
Well my mom is on here way here now. She should be here tonight. It is a long drive about 14 hours. The hubby is going to be a couple hour drive away today as well. It makes me more nervous and anxious when i am by myself. Especially with Practise labour.
Well I have 7 days until D- Day as of today. Can't believe it is almost here! Hope everyone is doing well.

wunder ~ that's exciting! You must be so anxious to meet your little one. I know I am! I had my baby shower this past Sunday. It was pretty much my first day out in the past 8 weeks. It was a lot of fun and I got a ton of stuff (especially outfits) but I didn't realize how tough it would be on my body. That night and all day yesterday I was in agony. I've been getting this awful pelvic pain off and on for weeks but this was the worst it's been. It was so painful to roll over in bed or move my legs or try to stand or walk. Not fun! I just rested all day yesterday and am feeling better today. I had an ultrasound and cervical check last Thursday. They estimated baby's weight at 5lb 4oz and I am just under 3cm dilated. I can't believe I have made it this far. I'll be 35 weeks on Friday. Can't wait to hear some birth stories soon! Good luck ladies.

les~~ OMG i know what you mean with the pelvic pain. I was having that for a while and it hurts sooo bad. i asked my doc about it and he told me that it is just the baby pushing down. But yeah it hurts to walk, roll over in bed, get out of bed, do just about anything. Hubby thought that I was in labor by how bad it was hurting me.
Its must be nice to have a ultrasound at each apt. I have not had one since the big one at 20 weeks, I ask my doc about it and he told me that as long as I am not having any problems and she is still growing then it is not needed. I wanted to do a 3d or 4d, but hubby said NO. One of the doc said that they use too much heat and it is not needed for the baby. Ohh well looks like that is out of the question.
Well good luck to all the moms that are soo close, to the rest of us we dont have too much longer. I so can not wait to hear about all the births and new babies.

Good morning - So I went to the doctor this morning, starting every week appointments now. The dr. was very happy with me, weights good & blood pressure was 116/74. I'm getting so excited! I had some menstrual cramps yesterday so he checked my cervix, but I'm still closed.
Good luck ladies, its around the corner!

Hey everyone. SO I have some news. Still no baby but yesterday I thought my water might have broke. In the morning my mucus plug let go in the shower (caught a glimpse as it went down the drain.) and then a couple hours later I needed to go to to the washroom and... splash. Well we went to the hospital and had a stress test. No contractions! I was like what? and they tested the pad I partially leaked on and it came back inconclusive on whether or not my bag broke. So the conclusion was a high leak and it sealed over either with the baby's head or the sac.
Well after that contractions started last night and went to the doctor today. I am a CM dilated and he swept my membranes. That was not so comfy. Well predictions are the end of the weekend Peanut should have arrived. Contractions are still irregular but getting stronger. I will keep you posted!
Good luck to everyone!

Sbea - Oh I'm so excited for you! We'll be praying for you and your little one (and your family) this weekend! I can't wait to hear how everything goes. Now it's starting to feel more real since at least some of us due in October are so close!
Les, still praying for you. So happy that you've made it so far!
Munch, I've been dying to see our little guy, too. I guess once we're this close we should just be patient and wait to see them in the flesh. Yea right! lol I'd love to see how he's grown in there.
Samara & wunder, I think we're all feeling antsy, so you're not alone. I'm starting to wish the weeks would go by faster. Discomfort has set in in many ways: heartburn, back pain, sleepless nights, uncomfortable movement (knees and elbows), digestive issues, etc. I know it's all worth it, but I can't WAIT to meet him!
I'm 35 weeks as of yesterday, haven't been to the doctor in 5 weeks and won't go until Thursday (he's been away)... so I don't even know which way the baby is lying (feels like head down, though, according to kicks and movement). Lots of BH, some with cramps, some with back pain, but no sign of anything else.
I hope everyone keeps us posted!!

Hey everyone, still no baby. Still in early labour. The contractions are stronger but very inconsistent. I think I am going to be dealing with this for a while now. Well my mother in law suggested Chinese food as that is what did it for her. Well I grabbed my fortune cookie... and here it is-
"Next week at this time, something good is coming your way!"
So next sunday it is.
It is so exciting that we are so close!! Can't wait to meet my baby! Hope all of you are well!

Well...I haven't posted in quite some time now. I have been reading about how everyone is doing, and it is getting pretty exciting for all of us. My due date is this Thursday, but no signs of anything just yet. My last Midwife appointment was last Tuesday and I was 70% effaced and at 0 station, no dilation yet. My next appointment is tomorrow, so I hoping that more has happened since last week. I have been having cramps for some time now and I guess that means cervical change, fingers crossed!!!
I have been feeling two different ways. On one hand I am so sick of being pregnant and not being able to bend and move the way I want, that I want him born NOW! But then when I think of him being born, I think of how I won't be pregnant any more, and I cry. It just feels like I have been pregnant for so long that I am not sure I am ready for it to be over with just yet, but at the same time I can't wait for it to end and have him in my arms. I feel like I am phsycho or something, but my husband and Mom say it is normal to feel this way. Anyone else feeling this way?
I haven't had any nesting urges yet either, but I guess not everyone does. What we have been doing though is stocking up on things we'll need for after he is born so we don't have to worry about getting them. Diapers (of all sizes), wipes, baby soap, tissues, powder, pads for me hehehe...and so on. So we are pretty much all set for his arrival aside from some cleaning I would like to get done.
I hope that everyone is still doing well! I hope to have my baby soon, and I can't wait to hear about your little ones!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting so excited, can't wait for her to be here! I think she dropped sometime in the last 24-48 hours. I realized this morning I can take deep breathes again, she isn't pushing into my lung cavity anymore! WOO HOO
Good luck to all!

Well ladies I had a docs apt today 36 weeks, I did not know that every apt from now on will be pants off. I do not like those as much, even though it means that she is closer to being here, they just hurt. But oh well, lets see she is still head down, her head is so high, i should not expect her any time soon. I had a sono today bc he could not find where her head was. She still seems to roll and one minute i feel her head on my left side and then i feel a ball on my right side. Oh well. I went over my date again for the c section. He told me that my group b test was negative. I dont know what that means, but ok. I go back on the 5th. I so can not wait until the 19th.
Samara good for you, I am the same way cant wait for her to be here.

Munch - Thanks for the heads up, I didnt know they are all pants off from now on. Congrats on being Strep B negative, its an infection you can have, if the baby gets It it can cause everything from a cold, to blindness, to death, be glad you don't have it.
Whens the non-stress test? Does everyone get one? Whats it for?
