Welcome sdmommy! You're just too cute! I've got about 4 weeks to go! Aryanna - you say one teaspoon of flax oil a night? It only has 1gram of fiber, but you say it does the trick? I'm desperate! I just ran to Walgreens and purchased some castor oil but am hesitant to take it. I have never been this constipated before in my life - not even with my daughter! I've actually now developed hemorrhoids! Oh, I'm in such agony right now. I eat a ton of fiber (about 25-30 grams a day) and drink at least 4-6 gla__ses of water a day. I feel like an 85-year old grandma! I see my doc on Thursday for my internal exam. I start going every week now! I can't wait to get back to normal.

hi girls just wanted some advice?
i haven't had bad skin during my pregnancy but just this past week have been getting small pimples under my armpit? Anyhow the past 2 days i now also have a lump under my armpit (kind feels like a large pimple under the skin) which is very sore to touch...any thoughts what this might be? I'm almost 37 weeks, do you think it might just be hormonal and relating to b___stfeeding?..like my ducts preparing or something?
I will ask my doctor at my appointment this week but it really hurts! just wondered if anyone else has had or has this too?
thanks!

Wow Joey, I have no idea, def ask your doc. Catsmommy, I take flax oil and vit c and drink green tea. All of that helped me immensely up until the past week anyway, I"m thinking the baby is just pressing on my bowels so much I can't get anything to work anymore! I"m in the same boat as you with the hemroid thing, it's driving me insane. And I'm so afraid it will be that much worse after delivery. The joys.

Hey girls, well im just signing in and it seems ages since i said hi. Youve all been chatting so much! Im 36 weeks now and i have a scan and appointment on thursday to see whats happening with 'not so little' malachi. He is kicking me to death now and i get bruised ribs from it. He already weighed 6lbs 2 weeks ago so i hate to think what he will weigh on thursday at just going 37weeks. Ive a feeling hes going to be a monster first baby. Im kind of hoping they tell me he'l have to com early so hs not too big! My sil just had a 10lb 9oz little boy and that scared me!! Im feeling a lot of discomfort in the front bone of my pelvis, anyone else got this? Im wondering if its the whole engagement / effacing thing - as its my first baby i dont really know what pains to expect...any advice girls? It just hurts when i try and move, get up, walk - like my front bone is going to crack. It started on and off a week or so ago, but now is pretty constant. Well im so glad that you girls are all still here and were in this boat together. Less than 4 weeks to go for me now! Or maybe less, which sounds great to me right now!! x x

Hey ladies, I'm no help with the constipation or hemroids (sp?) but I had a slight case last week, luckily it resolved itself. I remember with my dd I got them after I gave birth like a week later?! It wasn't excrutiating but sore and uncomfortable. JOEY - It almost sounds like it could be a milk duct. I hope the doc can help you and figure it out! MISSP - I know what you mean about the kicking type pain! He doesn't kick much these days but moves and stretches like crazy! It really hurts and stops me from whatever I was doing, Lexi was cuddling with me and the pressure of her laying over my tummy and him pushing out almost brought tears to my eyes. It feels like he'll just poke straight thru! With her my pubic bone hurt too, but this time I seem to be getting more of the cervix pain, ugh!

Good grief this pelvic bone pain is getting worse! When i get up in the morning it takes me several minutes to have the courage to put one foot in front of the other because my bones feel like thy are seperating and theres this huge pressure down below. It just took me a full minute to climb the stairs. My dh has taken to calling me grandma recently, and hes not far from the truth! Roll on thursday when i get some answers! By the way, whoever it was who had the constipation problem, have you considered taking iron tablets as they definitly loosen me up - too much in fact. I know some people feel ill with them but ive just had loose bowels, which i can cope with. Obviously you have to ask your doc first though! Cant think what else to suggest apart from lots and lots of prunes / figs / betroot and stuff like that. They always make me go! x x

Tell me about it... I've been calling myself grandma lately! There is so much pressure down below and I'm getting shooting pains down my crotch. Britt - same goes here - he doesn't kick much anymore because there isn't very much room left for him, but when he moves or turns... holy goodness I want to cry! He hurts me so badly! MissP - I think most of us on here have constipation issues... I'm having a big one! Never thought of iron pills. I see my doc on Thursday so I'll ask her for some advice. I'm just plain miserable... and on top of it, I woke up with a sore throat this morning! My first pregnancy was a breeze... no pains, no issues, etc.... Loved being pregnant! Up until the last few weeks, I've just been so miserable! My hubby keeps me reminding me.... just a few more weeks to go!

I thought iron was supposed to constipate? And Catsmommy, I've heard people talk about feeling like they have a cold or the flu in the week before labour starts. I personally feel like I can't take anymore of this. I'm having tons of BH and the cervix pain. I'm 36 weeks today and I don't want to go another four!!

Hi ladies...well I needed to check in to see if any of my lovely ladies popped yet! :) I had a FANTASTIC weekend...I went for my spa getaway with my mom and sis...it was a 110 min ma__sage, 75 min pedicure and 45 min manicure, then we went to mama mia and out to a nice dinner...oh and the prenatal ma__sage was outside in this garden- it was fantastic!!! Ok - the pelvic pain....I had that so horribly with my son last time that the last few weeks I literally crawled to the bathroom in the middle of hte night....once he came it relieved but wasn't completely gone...I talked to a PT about and she said that it is that the relaxin has caused the bones to shift and one is on top of the other...the cure for it....take your arm (hand of one knee and elbow on the other) or a pillow and place between your knees and squeeze....REALLY hard...do this for 10 sec at a time and do it about 3-5 times a day...Now I started doing this at about 5-6 mo and have been doing it since so I am not sure that you will be able to do it right now considering how painful it probably has gotten (I feel your pain-OUCH!) but if you try it I haven't that pain but here and there since I started to do it. SO ladies...I don't know how to say this because I know everyone is so miserable....it sounds totally dumb and you all probably want to tell me to screw right off but I am a little nervous....I don't know why I am nervous because I feel the baby moving ALL the time...super duper active babe. But I have this impending fear of something really bad going on with this babe. I don't feel pregnant you guys, I am measuring small which I did with my son but like 4 inches smaller at this gestation when I did with him...and I know that people saying it to me makes me more nervous about it but yesterday we were at this family deal and people were freaking out like "Are you sure everything is ok you don't even look pregnant" Which believe me I DO but What in the H*LL would possess you to say that to a PG woman??? But besides getting up to go to the bathroom once a night, I am sleeping great, my body doesn't ache...maybe it is because I am working out so much more this time but I worked out with my son and had an awesome pregnancy but even with him I got really sore in the end.....I know it sounds stupid that I am even B*tching about feeling good....I just have this crazy fear this time around....like neurotic fear about the umbilical cord getting wrapped or something....Ok I am done...sorry

Hi Everyone-- I went to the doctor today and due to my medical issues (blood pressure getting worse and amniotic levels being low) they changed my C-Section date to October 28th!!! I can't believe I only have 7 weeks left- I really can't wait for this pregnancy to be over, it has been so miserable and I have been so sick. How has everyone else been feeling? Are you all getting super excited and ready for your babies?

ejmeskan,
Sounds like you had so much fun this weekend! I haven't seen my feet in SOOO long -- now that I think about it, I have about a 2 ft perimeter around me that I cant see :P Sometimes I wonder why some people dont have a decent filter between their head and their mouths!!!! I would think as long as you can feel the baby move then everything is good. Working out is most likely the reason that you feel good with minimal pain--you go girl! I have found that with each of my pregnancies I have gained significantly less and wasnt as big around. Every preg is different and if you're worried, luckily docs are only a call away and thats what they get pd for ;P A phone call or even an unscheduled dr. visit is totally worth your piece of mind!!!!!!!!!

Liz - your spa weekend sounded wonderful. Good for you! You truly deserve it. I wouldn't worry about what anybody says! As long as the Doc says you're on target and everything is moving along smoothly and the most important thing is that you're feeling great, than I wouldn't worry about what anybody else has to say! It's probably the jealous ladies saying stuff like that to you because they could only wish they look or looked like you while pg! I'm having the same fears, that something is wrong with my baby! My worst fear is the umbillical cord wrapped around his neck, or he'll come out and he won't be crying! I'm getting too anxious and not sure how much longer I can hold out! Let me tell you my constipated ladies... I ate 1/2 cup Activia yogurt mixed with 1/2 cup of that Fiber One cereal (w/ 14g of fiber) and boy did it help! That's what I'll be eating every morning till this little guy is born so I'm less miserable!

Thanks ladies...after I wrote that I was like "You sound like a moran! " Well I guess my life is just to boring so yesterday I decided to go home at lunch and fall down the stairs...How about them apples! :) All because of a stupid toy airplane on the step...it was a pretty nasty fall and I feel awful today (see I just wanted to feel miserable!) I went in for a few hours for monitoring yesterday and the baby is fine and it appears the placenta is fine. Needless to say I was scared Sh*tless. Joey that is exciting about the 28th!!! Mari- nice work on the pooing- ha!!!

Liz, don't even pay attention to stup*d comments about being "too small". I get them all the time too and I'm sorry but if my doctor says everything is on track the rest of the people can shove it! Quick question for you ladies....did any of you guys have pain right under your b___bs, where the stomach begins to pop out- in between the 2 rib cages? I had such a BAD ache there and throughout my back yesterday. It was horrible. but then this morning i felt better but now as i sit at work i am beginning to feel it again. Do you guys think it's because i sit at my job and the baby is just pushing into that spot? i'm just paranoid, wanted to see if anyone else felt the same thing? Thanks!
