Hi! I failed my 1 hour too. I was borderline (140) so I took my 3 hour on this last friday and my doctor called me today and everything was great!! I was soooo worried. The 3 hour sucks! take a book bc you sit there for 3 or 4 hours doing nothing. I took a snack so as soon as the last draw was done i could eat something.

hi ladies, I just got back from a two day break with dh at a spa...never been before...it was awesome...they even had a mommy to be ma__sage...as for glucose test...I barely failed it with my first daughter...then I had to do the 3 hour...pa__sed it fine...i've heard that is pretty common...here they do the test a little different, they just take the blood, no drinking yuckie stuff first...haven't heard back, so I a__sume it was ok...anyone starting to waddle yet?

LOL Cookie! I am so starting to Waddle! Our baby boy is setting right in front up high, and I'm getting so big. My husband just looks at me and laughs with a big grin all the time because I am so apparently pregnant now and he is just so excited. As far as the glucose testing my doc actually did one early on and it came back perfect. I expect I am getting ready to have another one tomorrow when I see the doc. Fun, Fun! A few of my sisters both failed there first one to and then the second one it was fine. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!!

Hi Girls! I had a doc appt on Thursday. Doc said that i will go 10 weeks at the most at this point because the baby is so big! Everything looks wonderful. We are so so excited! I am glad he finally moved my due date up! If we go the 10 weeks he will actually be born on my birthday, that would be probably the best birthday present ever!! Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you soon!!

Hi Everyone!! Ive been on a couple time and thought I would try and get to know you better. Im due September 28th with my second baby, I have a son that will be 2 and a half when the second is born. I had to have a c-section with the first cause his heartbeat was dropping with every contraction( I was induced as well being 9 days over due) This time Im going to try everything to go in naturally and hopefully have a v____al birth.

hi ladies, welcome Tasha, sounds exciting to be having a vbac...is your dr all set with that? today we had our antenatal cla__s...it was more about exercise after the baby is born...so i pretty much new most of it...but it was nice to hang out with some other pregnant girls for an hour...sometimes I feel pretty isolated up here in Scotland...it's nice to have these blogs to catch up with people going through the same thing...

Hi Cookie, yes my doctor knows about wanting the V-bac and gave me all the risks a__sociated with it, basically its a 99% chance all will go good, 1% that the uterus will rupture...not a good thing, but the monitor me really closely, They say if I go into labor on my own I have to go to the hospital right away, no waiting until the contractions are 5 minutes apart. So thats good. Not long now! Hope everyones summer is going good and not too hot. Im in Calgary, Canada and its 28 out today...thats Celsius for anyone that doesnt know...so its pretty hot!

wow tasha, that is hot up there...wish you could send some of that over to scotland...its still pretty chilly...sounds like you have everything sorted with your vbac....i've been so uncomfortable these last few days...I think Mackayla is still lying transverse but I think i'm having braxton hicks contractions...and they really hurt...

This thread is quiet!! Ive never had Baxton Hicks, even with my first. Where are you in Scotland Cookie, I lived there for a couple months a few years back, in Glasgow, but I took a few days to make my way around. That is by far my favourite accent on a guy!! Im just starting to get uncomfortable the last few days, I dont know if its because I was walking around for like 7 hours yesterday(at a fair we have here) and Im wearing my "fitflops"(suppose to give you and added workout with the walking) but my back and b___t are sore!! I was not uncomfortable with my first at all, I hope it pa__sed. 2 more months of this would be hard!!

Hey Tasha, sorry, our net was down here for a few days..lol...I'm on the West Coast of Scotland, near Oban, my folks own a resort, and built a restaurant last year...but they don't know a thing about restuarants so they begged dh and I to come over for the year to run it (i'm actually a lawyer, and dh is a firefighter...but we were able to take a year off)...we actually live in Florida...and honestly I can't wait to get back...the nice thing is that the medical system is great here b/c everything is free...with my daughter if costs us about 15,000 (and that was with insurance)...we are still paying her off..lol...hope your feeling better today...I heard about those flip flops do you like them? I live in flip flops back home..but here its so friggin cold...

wow thats so expensive to have a baby in the states!! Its all covered here as well. I dont know how people afford to have babies there, plus not having mat leave. So your baby will be born in Scotland than? And have dual citizenship?? That would be great for them, when they get older they can go travelling and not worry about a visa!! I did visit Oban, it was like 7 years ago so hard to remember. Shouldnt it be warmer now since it is summer!
My back and behind is much better now, I must of over done it, and I just stopped wearing my Fit flops for a couple days too. I think they really work!

Hi Ladies,
I am due Sept.23, but having a scheduled c-section on sept12th. This is my second, my son is 16 months. This one is going to be a surprise.
I am getting really uncomfortable at night. during the day i feel great but trying to slep kills me. 8 more weeks to go!

tasha, glad to hear the pain went away...I went to an osteopath yesterday, and it really helped...I was having problems in my lumbar? I go again next week...tomorrow I have my 32 week appt...curious to see what my midwife says..I think Mackayla is still transverse...Lisa: welcome, how neat that you are having this one as a suprise...i'm so impatient with knowing stuff...I can't even wait for my christmas gifts..lol..do you feel more tired this time around with a toddler in tow?

so i had my midwife's appt today, and what I thought were painful braxton hicks contractions, are actually preterm contractions...so tomorrow I have to go to an OB for a growth scan, and to see if my contractions are causing me to dilate etc...apparantly the baby has also turned head down...probably explains the pressure I'm having "down there"...I didn't think I had anything to be concened about, but I guess I didn't really think logistics, b/c we are out in the middle of no where, if anything happens now I would be rushed 2 1/2 hours away to the big "city"...i'm hoping its nothing...i'll update tomorrow...hope the rest of you are doing well :-)
