I'm from Texas, very south Texas....so it is VERY hot right now down here. I wish I would have been this pregnant in the winter! lol would have been alot more comfortable

oh no no no... anytime they cut you they are required to numb you.. (unless of course you request not to be numbed, but who in their right mind would not want to be numbed?? LOL) I am most scared about a c-section. Gives me the willies just thinking about it. So you are scheduled to be induced on the 25th Tina? My EDD is the 23rd but my doc won't let me go past it because she is going on Vaca the week following so if I haven't gone in naturally and she doesnt see a reason to induce me or do a scheduled c-section early I will prolly have her on the 23rd. 22 days away. seems so close, and yet so far away! LOL

I had some freak approach me as I was pumping gas and ask me to dinner I was like uh.....see the belly? he said I love pregnant women I said good get one of your own I am happily married - I couldn't get in my car fast enough and then I was paranoid that he was following me - he wasn't but it freaked me out.....I don't get gas anymore my dh does it for me - reverse emputee??? LOL - don't they think they are so funny my dh calls me slim....I told him he is hilarious too....I think you sound pretty calm about your dh leaving - I bet he will sure feel like a creep if you have the baby and he's gone.....men can't live with them can't shoot them.....one good thing about being preggo is that at baskin robbins today everyone let me cut right to the front of the line because I was just buying the prepacked tubs! Sometimes this belly get me places...LOL

I know what you mean Samantha. I envy the people who get to spend this uncomfy portion of pregnancy in the cold/rain/snow etc. What part of texas do you live in? I have family in fort worth and have visited El Paso, pa__sing through from Mexico.

LOL well me and the baby's dad have been having a lot of problems since I was about 3 or 4 months pregnant...and I go to school and there's this guy who's always been really nice to me and when he found out mea nd my boyfriend broke up he tried to take it farther than friends. Don't get me wrong he wasn't too a__sertive or anything liek that, but made it clear that he was interested in being more than friends. He was really a sweet guy, but I don't know, it weirded me out that he was interested in me knowing I was pregnant, so I just stopped talking to him. I don't know, I felt bad about it, but I just couldnt' get past that.

Haha, I was at starbucks the other day and in one of those big cushion chairs so it hid my belly but when I stood up a lady was like WOAH GET TO THE HOSPITAL, I DONT WANNA BE RESPONSIBLE! I love how people feel they have the right to make these random comments. LOL But you're right the 'belly' does have its perks. :) I am calm about my dh because its been a long time coming. I knew about this since I was about 3-4 months pregnant. There were a lot of tears shed and a lot of shouting but now I just figure, his loss, not mine. I HAVE TO BE THERE and I wouldn't miss it even if I didnt have to, so... ((sticks tongue out)) LOL Thats scary about the guy at the gas pump. That would give me the heebie jeebies too. I have only had one incident. I was walking out of Target and I guess I don't look too pregnant from behind cuz I got a whistle and when I turned the guys face turned ten shades of red and he ducked out of view very quickly. LOL

Men who are interested in pregnant women (that arent their wives) weird me out. Makes me think of nasty perverted old men who can't get any. Yuck!

Krissy - LOL fluffy and preggers...LOL I like fluffy that is cute ......yep high desert....the one thing I can say about it is we get zero humidity so it bearable --I'll take dry heat over humidity anyday of the week and twice on Sunday....LOL Samantha - I ahve heard lots about episiotomies and if the doctor is patient an episiotomy can be avoided -- I seem to be a birthing machine - both of my boys pretty much came out after only a few pushes I did have a 3 st_tch tear with my first and 1 st_tch tear with my second ...but of the ladies I know who had episiotomies had it numbed before they were cut first....all I know is my epidurals worked great and I am not too nervous about pain this time....I agree being this big preggo in the winter would have been ideal.....I was warm and comfy all winter (we get some cold cold weather) because my oven was warming up my little bun and I was warm all the time while my poor family froze a lot.....I know they will all be happy when the baby is born because I blast the swamp cooler and they are cold and I am sitting cool and happy...

OK so, update: my contractions are approximately ( a little less ) than an hour apart and last about 1 minute solid. hmm? Samantha, you're right I have never heard of Alice... Tina, my dh feels your families pain. we have no air conditioning but I have 4 huge floor fans and 2 ceiling fans that run on high 24/7. The poor guy is 6'1" and 150 lbs (yes a string bean) and he freezes to death even when its 80 degrees outside. LOL

Another curious tidbit: My cat has taken to rubbing all over my arms and my belly for the last couple days and has even tried sucking on my hands and my elbows when I'm sleeping or relaxing. Does she think she's a baby? LOL... weirdo... haha

I love Texas I have been a few times in the last couple of years for a sc___pbooking convention and the people there are so so nice! If I ever let California I think I would go there - Samantha.....I wasn't with my first son's father when he was born and you know what? It was still a wonderful fantastic experience...we never reconciled but his loss ...I got the best part of him as far as I am concerned my dh is awesome and my true soulmate I am so glad I didnt' settle and I would have if that guy would have asked me to marry him....I can't imagine that now.....i was glad I got the strength to figure it out with out him. So keep your chin up girl Mr Right is out there.....yeah I got a look the other day and when I turned around they were like uhh sorry...LOL it's funny to me ....Krissy I am with you on the unnecessary comments I just want to say - ummm maybe you should say that in your head first before you share it with the rest of us...LOL see how they like that... but I haven't had strangers touching my belly thankfully I HATE THAT!!! As far as your dh like you said you have known for a while now so his loss and if he misses it he'll have to deal with it - like you said it's his choice...but it still sucks but if it was me I would probably react the same ....my best friend likes to try to start trouble sometimes like today I stopped by to check out her newly painted walls and I told her I couldn't stay long and she said well he was out Friday (helping his dad) and Saturday (helping a friend) I just glared at her and said would you stop?? Sunday is always family day so be glad that I am here for the time I am here - she is so annoying sometimes I was like I don't need you to point out what my husband does......just because he does something doesn't give me the right to just go and do what I want.....even if he's inconsiderate I am not going to turn around and do the same thing .....she said you are in a mood and i said no just worry about your own husband I'll worry about mine thanks

You know what? Like for the past week or so my cat has been really really attached to me. Every time she sees me she meows like crazy and runs up to me and rubs up against me...which is really unlike her. I've heard that animals can sometimes sense if their owners are pregnant. Have you all ever heard that?

That's funny about your cat ...LOL - she must be sensing something changing in you.....my dogs aren't doing anything weird thankfully....I have 2 small shih tzus.....both girls ....they were my babies before I got pregnant this time a total surprise by the way...LOL ....I haven't hear of Alice either ....but I have heard of corpus christi..Krissy String bean LOL my dh is 6 foot and 200 pounds and he's still freezing....
