im 35 weeks 2 cm dialated and have contractions all the time should i try to have s_x to induce labor if the doc to told me not to have s_x

id suggest no s_x if thats what your doctor said; evidently they said no s_x for some reason; youll go into labor yourself. but only being 35 weeks id want to go till 37 at least. thats only 2 more weeks hold of for best sake of the baby.

Why would you want to have s_x if the dr said not to? I'd wait till at least 37 weeks - it's better for the baby. I'm 37 today and last week was 3cm and 80% effaced and the dr put me on mini-bed rest so I did not deliver early. Babies lungs need time to develop. You don't want to risk him coming too early and having to be in the NICU.

i agree with the other ladies... I replied to your post in the june mommies thread :) Im 35 weeks also so thats cool. I think you should hold off on trying to induce yourself until you are at least 17 weeks. its only a couple more weeks, you can do it :)

no dont have s_x! especially if the doc said not too. your baby is still growing. Youve waited this long, i think you can wait a few more weeks.
