Any Precautions For Twins

I'm pregnant 11 weeks and was wondering if I need to take any special precautions? Like no vacuuming, fast walk, etc...I'm healthy and so far the twins are too...just wondering, thanks.

Unless your doctor tells you to limit your activities a twin pregnancy is not really different from a singleton pregnancy early on. You don't really have to limit your activities and getting some moderate exercise is very beneficial. Listen to your body and do what you feel comfortable with. If you feel like you're exerting yourself too much, then slow down, but if you're feeling well and the babies are fine it's good to keep somewhat active. I'd limit any activities that you normally would with pregnancy like horseback riding, or riding a bycicle. Anything that would increase the chance of a fall. Walking and swimming are great, I did them throughout my pregnancy (Up to 36 weeks, I delivered at 38) because I had no complications.

Dani I just wanted to 2nd Freebird, do what you feel comfy doing. I played V-ball early on in this pg before I knew there were 2 in there. I pushed mowed our yard Tues, just dont do a lot of heavy lifting or things that cause you to bend or twist funny.

Lcoots, how are you? Long time no talk. I'm doing good over here. Just had my genetic screening with detaile ultrasound and everything looks great! I'm super excited! I was soo worried about going in and hearing bad news, ya know. Both babes look healthy and are growing great. They are on top of each other like yours....haha. One baby is taking over the house, huh?? lol. I get my results back from the blood test and the ultrasound next week, so now I'm just waiting......i hate the waiting game. The ultrasound tech thinks that baby b is a girl...............YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, it's not a definite but she says that it sure looks like a girl. We will know more in about a month. I hope your doing well. How are you feeling? Are you eating a lot? I feel like my appet_te has increased some. Alright, I will check back later.
