I am ten weeks pregnant and my u/s showed that I have two sacs. One has a fetus and the other looked empty. Is this common? What will happen to the empty sac as the pregnancy progresses? Is there still a chance that I might have twins?

At 10 weeks there should be a baby. If the sac is empty, I would say it is Vanishing Twin Syndrome. Your body will absorb the sac which actually sounds like a blighted ovum and no harm will come to your healhty baby.
