Morning And ALL DAY Nausea

Ok, I am 7-weeks pregant with twins and while I m so happy about the news, I have been dealing with some awful morning (all day) sickness. It is so bad, I have missed work just to deal with the nausea. My doctor has told me what to try and I have tried it all! I have purchased ginger ale, vitamin B-6, stayed hydrated, eaten Ritz crackers and saltines, eaten lemon, and continue to feel like I am about to explode. No, i do not vomit (thank God) but the nausea (all day long) is taking a toll on my work duties and on my physical being. Does anyone have other tried and truth solutions or advice they can share. Thank you.

I had severe morning sickness with my singleton and the only thing that sort of worked for me was sucking on peppermint candies. Everything else, including whatever they prescribed didn't help worth a hill of beans. I have heard unisom and b-6 together work but please talk to your DR about that since it is a sleeping drug.

Nothing worked for me. I tried everything except for prescriptions. I'm sorry. Mine pa__sed at about 16-18 weeks, but it got a lot better after about 14-15 weeks. But then I got hit with brutal heartburn. Good luck, but you have soooooo much more 'wonderful' stuff that's coming. Sorry! But Congrats on the twins, they are so worth it.

The only thing that helped me was not moving!! But you could ask your doc for a perscription of diclectin, it did help me to function. Good luck & congrats!

Hi I had Hyperemisis with my first child. The morning sickness was so bad I was hospitalized. I was prescribed Phenergan at first. Then Zofran. Eventually I had a food tube inserted through a cathidar in my arm and had a pump inserted into my leg that would give me the liquid form of zofran automatically. Then all of the sudden at five months along. The nausea and vomiting stopped and I was able to get off the medicine. Five years later I have two healthy girls. The first, with who I used the medicine with, has a higher IQ than the my second (USED NO MEDS).

I had severe morning sickness with my singeltons and the only thing that helped me was getting jolly ranchers and keeping one in my mouth all day long!!!!! Good luck!!!!
