Hi everyone. I have decided to join your forum after a few visits that have found so much helpful. I'm also expecting twins and due on the 6th of January. I've had different mixed feelings about it for a few weeks after I found out. The fact that they are now kicking(started on week 18) inside my tummy makes me very excited and look forward to meeting them. I'm going to find out about their gender on my next appointment on the 27th and hoping it's little girls as I already have a 2 year old son. I'm crossing fingers, but either is ok. I started showing very early and now look like I'm 7months preg. But I'm feeling healthy, energetic, work is fine, it's just the sleeping positions @ times.
Has anyone reached week 40 with twins? I'd like to know how far do twin pregnancies normally last.

Welcome and congrats on your twins. I had a great pregnancy with my twins. I got physically uncomfortable probably from 30 weeks on, but who doesn't? I was induced at 38 weeks, 1 day and was told I would have probably gone to 40 weeks. My kiddos were 6 lb. 4 oz. and 7 lb., born v____ally. My first daughter was 2.5 when they were born and they are now 11 mo. old. Oh, I wanted to say that I've found twinstuff.com to be so helpful and they have a whole forum for expecting Mommies. Congrats again!!!
