I know how big a singleton is at this stage but what about twins? Just curious and I forgot to ask my dr last time I was in. Thanks.

I am 26 weeks with twins. My babies are still right on track with singletons as far as weight. They begin to slow down their growth in the 3rd trimester when there is much less room to grow. How are you feeling?? Are you showing quite a bit? I was at that point!

They should be as big as any singleton. A lot of people a__sume twins are smaller bucause they are usually born sooner. If you carried your twins all the way to 40+ weeks and your tummy has the room, you could have two 7-8 pound babies. I've seen it many times of twin boards. At my baby shower, one game was where people were trying to guess the weight and stuff on my twins. Not one was over 5 pounds which really upset me. I showed them when I had 6+ pound and a 7+pound twins.

Thanks for the feedback. I just was not sure. Betsy-I am feeling really good. My back aches if I am on my feet to much but other than that I am good. Yes, I think I am huge. Been in maternity clothes since 9 weeks. I am all still belly so that is good. Not to much swelling either. I wish you luck on the rest of your pregnancy.
